lol i sounds confusing. actually last night i also thought of something like that. cos both my hubby and i hate it when ppl call us using our chinese name. especially mine cos it is dialect and ppl will pronounce it wrongly 99% of the time...

juz realised that my room lights may not be suitable for baby...as im stayin wif my parents..so bb will need sleep wif us in our room...no spare room...but my light is those normal white flourescent tube...i like my room to be bright bright...suddenly it occured to me that it might b too bright for baby's eyes? or i can juz leave it as it is?
anyone can advice?

try getting a standing night light. Then at night, just use the night light lor. I also like my room bright bright. So long as it's not shining into the eyes ok lah. If at night, i will continue using the white light. But if in the middle of the night wake up type, i'll use the dimmer night light.

I went for my week 35 check-up today, then came back went for a long nap, really tired.
Everything looks fine and baby is 2.6kg at Week 35 and Dr Wong thought if I rest well and dun move too much I will be able to deliver at week 37. So need lots of bedrest and sleep.

Back from gynae checkup today. Baby about 2.1kg at 32 weeks. Having pelvic pain so gynae wants me to rest till I pop. Lucky I opting for c-section cos till now baby is still in breeched position as well.

Wah! So your girl's name will be like those american born chinese? One of my friend's name is like that too ( first name + middle name + surname and then chinese character for chinese name) and he is american born chinese. really cool haha. but how did u decide whats her middle name?

Gals, as i will be going for c-section, should i be buying chicken essence or fish essence? I never bother about such things for 1st born, but cos i going to stop @ 2, so wanna do a better confinement.

don't need to buy bah. Coz pp will give... But usually pp will give chicken essence. Heard c-section both chicken & fish essence all no good leh....

that's what i heard. At first i thought only chix essence no good, coz after op cannot take chicken mah. Then later someone here says fish essence also no good coz it promoted superhealing too. So think both no good lor. Maybe should just stick to pork for the first two weeks, after that then take the chicken/fish essence.

Felt so frustrated when the clinic nurses kept calling my boy by his hanyu pinyin name and got it all wrong! Don't want my gal to have to go thru the same ordeal. Actually wanted to change my boy's name but my hb said will be very ma fan coz need to change a lot of other stuff like passport etc.

last sun, my MIL asked for my gal's name again. So just tell her lor. Then she gave that face again. She doesn't like the names, but at least this time she has some self control and kept her comments to herself altho her body language betrayed it all.

I told dh then asked his dad to change his surname to yi as in one, then I name Kai, er=two, #2, shan=three, so very easy to write. Told dh, names must have good meaning and if she is not good in her chinese kept her mouth shut since even with Kai's name, she said it was difficult to write.

The only thing I worried is if the name given by geomancer ended up with Z as the start of the pinyin. lol Then his name will really be Zachary Zhuang ZZ. ZZZZ!! Totally dont want that!!

no lah, don't think he's be so goon. In naming, that's one of the prohibited combi for chinese names. Cannot use all same starting sounds else pp will have diff pronouncing.

hehe, me too. We also don't believe in shifu coz we're christians so we have chosen the name long time ago. Believe it or not, both my kids' names just appeared and i knew then i'm going to name them that.

Janicene friend is afraid of delivery pain....she told her worries to KKH doc and doc suggested her to get her epidural 1st then induce.....tat way she only can feel the contractions but with no painat al she says so...mayeb can ask ur doc

He is active when we are listening to music and babyplus, then he is very attentive, my tummy is like a mountain on the right side when Kai is reading books aloud to me and himself. Then when Kai laugh or get excited during the climate of the story, bb is kicking alot too haahaa. Then now at nite, he allowed me to sleep through till morning about 8 to 9 hours. But I still feel very sleepy so in the afternoon I still nap like 2 to 4 naps. Think this pregnancy I am like a sleeping beauty haahaa.

So far, he has answered our prayer for 2 boys haahaa. So maybe two girls will come from adoption if I close factory liao haahaa, will see how as our God can be humourous too haahaa.
