there is this shop Udders outside united square...they got this mao shan wang flavour ice-cream...heard so much bout it...finally went to try...its really yummy!

re: TMC hospital tour
i went for the hospital tour today....quite satisfied...confirm im taking 1 bedder, hubby wants to be ard...cos the lady say wif the h1n1 thingy, hubby can only visit during visiting hrs if its 2 or 4 bedder...for 1 bedder, hubby can b ard anytime'
they using huggies for babies now..
saw their delivery suites too....they haf a nice sofa for daddy to rest in....they weigh n measure bb outside of delivery suite, but they tag bb's both legs n mummy before bringing bb out n daddy can follow to take pictures....initially tot there might be a possibility of mix-up, but feel more assured after the tour

which studio did u sign up with? sunday i went to china town too but donno where the koi shop is haha. luckily today when i pass by toa payoh, i accidentally saw the shop!! =) oh for the shots, it is ok lah, i have no signs of early labour yet. maybe take around week 36 or 37 bah~ also my old navy clothes havent arrive yet T_T

Yah lor, when i tried to pack my hospital bag for the first time, i wanted to take 10 also. then i was like omg this already took up so much of the space. aiya better to just bring the whole back and carry it instead of putting in the bag.

Let me know also when you got the schedule please. =) Thanks!! if 11 july have slot, i am interested in taking on that day too!

i am very bad de leh. always squash my boy... plus my body is short. the only thing he will do when i dont move away from that position is try to poke me with his little hand cos can feel on the right bottom part near bikini line.

come to think of it, so fast already 2 months past since i stopped working. only 4 weeks to go now! i wonder if i should wash all baby's clothes including those above 3 months and vacuum pack them since I might be busy when baby arrives.

herb is herb n lemon grass is lemon grass..
Lemon grass is Xiang Mao which they use in cookin but those herbs usu contain lemon grass alternative u can simply use lemon grass..
the herbs u jus go to any medical hall n tell them for confinement bath 1 they know... ya the building nex to OG..

actually lemon grass can juz get from the market stall selling vegetables...

tink chinese medical hall is dried herbs...dat will be the da feng ye

u can get the lemon grass at any market or supermarket. It's a very common spice (like spring onions, curry leaves) to use in cooking esp Thai food.

Hi Ladies, looks like today's topic is maternity pad.. i was looking around too n saw those that need to tie w string, dun think i know how to use them... what other brands do u girls recommend?? those that are similar to our sanitary pad?

lotsa ppl recommend pureen maternity pads, u can try dat, can get at kiddy palace....some ppl recommend sofy too....which is the normal pads

LawShe, I suggest getting the Laurier normal pads but the one which is super long. As the lochia will be very heavy so I think the long pads will help to protect against staining the bed. Think the longest is 40.5cm.
 
40.5cm sounds wonderful. super long n the clumsy me can fear not..

btw, saw some post that those oldies pad when put on can dun need to put on undies??

i only bott 2 pack of tt n the rest i bott the 35cm 1 cos heavy flow only for the first wk i suppose anywya i still got a pack of pureen so i tink shd be enough:p

My mum told me dun buy too much first cos the amt of lochia varies among individuals. She said last time she also heard alot of pple said it's gonna be alot, but for her personally, the flow was still ok. But i've already got the pureen pad, think i'll get another sofy packet.

i didn't get any maternity pads...as i prefer normal one...
think will use the hospital one...but hor loop one no string can't use at all...

previously #1 wanted to finish hosp give one but went home and reliease no string to tie...
cos i so kuku...discard the string...
end up used the normal pads(40.5cm & 35cm ones)

ya i also prefer the norm 1 but since my friend got 1 pack unuse wan gave me i jus take lor cos the norm 1 if after lochia still can use for my menses mah tt y i only bott 2 pack of the 40.5cm 1:p

Than when she okie, she will take MC and need me to call to cancel her appointment.. (get wat I mean “chao gain”)

my area also got a stray dog(but can't confirm)
he also belong to this kind of breed..
but his fate is better...
cos he will have passerby to feed him at the same time on the evening...
he will wait for his meal on a hill at a bus-stop...w/o fail ...
i will get to see him whenever i am in the bus...
and its wonderful to see see him...

i made the papaya soup last night. And going to do it again tonight coz had too many salmon bones. hehehe. My hb and my boy bought drank it up...
 
Sharon, I remember the nurse put 2 pads for me too when I was in hosp. She put the normal pad below and the maternity pad on top. Its kinda good to put 2 as the wound is swollen so its like cushioning. More comfy to sit with 2 pads.

Maternity Pads, there is the self-adhesive ones under Kota or something like that can get from Supermarket or Pharmacy I think it is like 10 pcs for $8plus.

<font color="0000ff">shirley</font>, when my mum cooked, it is only I drink, sometimes my boy will ask for some. I think every1 can drink.
