Glad to hear that you are alright. Avoid walking too much now, more bed rest. My fren was also 2cm dilated & can tong another 2 weeks before delivering

Sharon, the net undies is the most comfy ones and it is the ones that hospital will provide. And it is stretchable and dry very fast. I was looking for this one instead of the disposible ones so was glad to find it at TMC pharmacy.

i jus came back frm 34wk appt wif gynae. this time round lost a little bit of weight. but since it's only a loss of abt 0.9kg frm my visit 2 weeks ago, gynae said there's no cause for alarm. so far my gynae din mention abt baby's weight to me yet. after reading all your posts abt baby's weight, i checked wif him wats my baby's weight based on the last visit detailed scan. he said it's abt 1.7kg at wk 32. later his assistant told me when i was outside tat my baby shd be ard 3kg when i'm due. seems like my baby is a little small in comparison wif other babies. but i console myself tat it'll be easier for me to give birth since i'm hoping to go natural without any pain relief.

btw, do u hv any idea if mt E sells the net undies? think u gave birth to kai at mt E the other time rite? i been to mt E pharmacy once but their pharmacy is jus like a counter to buy medicine. (or did i go to the wrong pharmacy at mt E?) never been to the one at TMC. din know TMC pharmacy sells other things as well. (confused)

i dun dare to tell my mil abt the baby's weight. cos she's another difficult mil. she sure blamed me said i scared fat then dun eat etc etc. cos sil's baby was abt 3.7kg or heavier if i remember correctly. tat time my mil alreadi commented tat the baby could be bigger if my sil hv eaten more.
yr hubby is alreadi overseas or still in s'pore? the thread moves so fast until i also lost track.

3kg is alright. MILs always have plenty to say. No matter what wt, they will say too big or too small. Altho my boy was abv average when i was preg with him, coz he came out preterm at 2.8, she also say he so small. But she forgot coz he's preterm mah. Then this time my gal slightly smaller than him, she said last time i never bu, so my boy so small, now my gal every smaller, so gotta bu even more.... sigh.
Anyway, i also give up on her liao. Keeping my gal's name a secret from her coz she had plenty of comments on my boy's name last time until we fed up and say we haven't decided till we showed her the birth cert. Even then she still commented say not nice. So fed up told her it's up to her if she doesn't wanna call my boy but that's his name. So this time round, same thing, she'll know only after she sees the birth cert.

my gynae didn't bother doing VE for me too. For one thing, i don't like being meddled below. Too painful for me. My gynae knows and seldom do such checks unless absolutely necc.

There are all these young able bodied men who refuse to give up seats to the elderly who can barely walk. I mean if really dun want to give up seats to preggy women, so be it, but what about old folks who are struggling to stand???

So u need to scream at him for pushing and threaten to sue him if anything happens to your bb. If not, box him back or stamp on his feet. hahaha. U know that time i fell down coz of the stupid contractors doing paint work at my blk? I made their insurance pay so now my confinement nanny comes free.

I think prob need to be pushed a few times, then after that u'll react without having to think twice already. hahah. The first time i kenna pushed, i just grumbled to myself after that, then regret why i didn't do anything and let that guy bully me. 2nd time i got pushed i scolded a bit louder. 3rd time, i just elbow back. Haha, i think it comes with experience.

about ppl on the train, maybe they didnt see bah cos the train is too crowded. ppl in singapore is too used to pushing one another de lor... got once this idiot auntie was pushing me to get into the train (before i was preggie lah), i just stand at the entrance for awhile and blocking her lol end up she didnt get a sit. serves her right!

best thing is the Jane Activa one is plastic so easier to clean than the wood one from kidzloft.

my mil also got comment before that Zachary sounds like malay name or something. but i told her the name is nice and her son insist on it. after that she never said anything le.

i am planning to get feng shui master for baby's chinese name. dont think we can thought up of one hahaha. the one i will be going to cost like $368 and will give only 3 - 5 names for us to choose (not just some chinese characters). i hope he dont give us some sounds very funny name... else sian!!!!

which fengshui master u go to? what is included inside the $365 package? ...does it tell u what the future holds for the baby? i rem when i engage a fengshui master for my elder gal's name, i had a hard time trying to choose a name for my gal coz most of tehm sounds really awful

My mil contacted them and she was told the price is around $368 with detailed life analysis/ baby's character if using the name ect ect. I've yet to contact them myself to check tho. Also donno if he is good or not. Cant find any review.
