yep bb viability is very good once pass 2kg but because he's still young (before 34 weeks) there will be lots of potential problems such as PDA, lung immaturity, eye, sight and stomach troubles, according to the neonatal doctors that we spoke to. therefore gynae will want to hang in there as long as possible.

yep, got to stay in hopsital for until bb is born - so if bb decides to come out 6 weeks later, that means will be warded for 6 weeks.
cervix shortening & funnelling occurs before dilation, so once detected short cervix n funneling means a matter of time (days..maybe) before cervix dilates.

bb is daddy's boy, whenever his heartbeat accelerates, i talk to him and nothing happens, but when daddy talks to him, his hb immed return to baseline.

on complete bed rest esp for toilet breaks & that's only in the ward. If in delivery suite, it's complete bed rest.
in KKH (thk goodness) the bill is going to be astrocious esp since almost everyday i am shuttled to the delivery suite for continous monitoring. they charge by the min for delivery suite
...i dun dare to ask for the interim bill.
