If Sam is full & satisfied after latching, does it mean that he shd fall asleep? if he is fitful, cries, or eyes big big.. does it mean that he's not full?
 
Jul, usual have a satisfied look. No necessary fall asleep. Ray has his playtime sometime after morning feed, afternoon feed and evening feed.

I dun swaddle bb anymore cos he is scared of being hot..so i jus use cloth diaper to cover his legs when he sleeps.Bought blankets from Aussino-used only in aircon room cos he is scared of hot.

Yea to hold the two funnels for 45 mins x 6-8times/day=pain n ache!I cut two vertical holes in a padded(u can also use non padded),non wired bra n fit the funnel into it.Haha..can swing around some more.Am sewing an extra layer of cloth on the openin to prevent the padded foam from gettin into funnel,will post pixs once ready.Dun laugh huh..

Oh..i think the button is the letdown button,i call it turbo button to humor myself..i will "turbo" it after abt 20/30mins of pumpin to recharge BM supply.

Rash
My boy developed some rashes after two days of feeding on new FM powder..looks abit like chintz's bb's rashes.So I m also curious whether is there cause for concern?

doc is worried dat its hand foot mouth...but no fever...dunno wats wrong...doc say no med can only monitor
 
Chintz, my gal also got the same rash as ur baby...forehead is the worst i applied Sebamed Face Lotion for her its helps..her cheek also hv.

Jz nw try to latch my gal for 1hr for 2 breasts i tot she alr full cos she let go..but then oli last her for 1.5hrs after tat she cry for milk again so i bottlefeed her BM instead she finished 100ml lo...

Is it becos my BM not enuf tat's why my gal cry again for milk? cos if i pump i usually can get 90-100ml by right shd b enuf..is it she nv suckle untill finished?

my bb also have, but nt as bad as chinz's bb.
just to share, i used rice powder to apply on bb's face, forehead and neck after shower. the face seems ok nw only the forehead nw like have scalp.. my maid ask me to use J&J oil, i just started to apply today.. will update u gals

diaper size
how do i tell what size to buy now? my CL said we should buy Pet Pet M size after we finish those we got. now S size almost finish le but I tried huggies M size (sample), too big leh...

i find diff brand of diaper size diff leh.
e.g. i am using pet pet S size nw i think it is just nice but dryper S too small for my bb now already. currently i am trying to finish the giant in house brand new born cos going to can not fit liao..

i thk u jz monitor & keep him clean..heard e rashes is due to irritation from milk like mitten stain then rub the face. So nw i try to use dame cotton wool to clean her mouth after milk.
 
regg,i got applied calendula cream..only work for rashes on my gal's neck but not work for her face rashes..strange right! My gal eyebrow also got abit scalp

PJPJ, hw big is ur bb ah? my gal is 5wks old nw & 4-5kg i also find drypers S size abit small for her..mamypoko NB is cutting is bigger which she still wearing nw. I got drypers M size samples from TMC will try & see how.

Anyone using Petpet for your baby girl? heard it's not bad right? cos my gal oli poo every few days at one big shot scared will leak..so far mamypoko & drypers still fine..but we hvnt bring her out yet..scared later she poo when we bring her out the leaks :p

Ya, petpet S is bigger then drypers S.
So far i've tried:
-giant in house new born - ok but almost cant fit nw($0.28/pc)
-mamypoko - new born, still can wear nw, gd, i use for nite time only, cos ex($0.34/pcs)
-pet pet S- gd, higher at the back, dont leak so easy ($0.17/pcs)
-first choice NTUC in house brand new born-quality similar to giant($0.19/pcs)
EQ S- very hard surface!dont buy!!!($0.20/pcs)

Regg, u really study all brands leh heehee..wat abt pampers? I like pampers thk it's better than mamypoko..got 2 packets S size as gift from frens hvnt open..i used NB from TMC de..it's good cos got indicator line.

dont worry, just bring few diaper along when going out lor.. and spare outfit.

Fitti is good for NB and S, that's what i heard from my friend. I am using Pampers and Fitti. Pampers is better, thinner and more absorbent. Fitti is ok too, won't leak but it's a bit thick.

Can order fitti via email as well, 54 or 56 pieces NB for $10. (finished NB liao so cant rem the quantity) As for small, it's 48 pieces for $10. Order in cartoon of 6 packs. Let me know if u want the email address to order.

For updating, my bb weight is 3.04kg when born.

Most probably is ZHAO ZHENG.

Yr bb now is how many weeks liao le?
I latch him till I tired when I tried to latch him while lying down, he like cannot find my nipple when impatient.
Sometimes he will pull than cannot find my nipple. Haha..

So I preferred to pump and let him drink bottle.

My bb sleeps but always wake up for milk my god..
When he cme bk is not like this. 3-4hrs than drink. Now is like 1.5-2hrs.
At night sometimes 2-3hrs.. cannot stand it.

How to train?
My mum said now is like that, after bigger than can train.. is it true?

My son poo poo sometimes alternate day wor.. one day once or twice..
The nurse said as long as the poo is soft than its ok if it is 3 days once, or 1 week once. But I think everyday poo is better.

My mum put bb sarong and bed.

Put him at sarong when he crying for milk.
Now I tell my mother don rock him first don give him milk let him get use to a timing than give milk.. don kw if this can train him or not

I also give him pacifier but he don like it.. cos he kw we like bluffing him.
When he suck, he cry and gives the expression like why nothing going down his throat. Haha..

My left breast got lumps more easier. So sometimes I jst lay on bed and press my breast.

As of today, I can express abt 70ml of milk liao le.. but must wait till breast very full.
Else normal only 40ml

happi, initially my 2yrs old son was ok with meimei but now he started to throw things at meimei and even try to use his toys to 'walk'all over meimei.
So we really have to keep an eye on them. Not easy I know especially when I am alone with 2 kids.

Chintz, my girl's skin condition is like this on and off.I think its normal...will go away after a while. Mine seems to get better each day.

PJPJ, my girl on tbf but has the rashes too so nothing to do with your new FM.

sbb, my girl will stretch so hard till face turn red and pui milk out too.I think bbs love to stretch so its normal.

Zachary is 5 weeks old now. afternoon he will want milk every 2 - 3 hrs, night time 3 hrs and midnight only 1 feed (will wake up 3 hrs after this 1 feed). most of the time around 11:30pm finish milk, 5am next feed but yesterday night, fed him around 9pm and he sleep until 2am. i just finish feeding and pumping milk, the next feed should be in 4 hrs time. how many ml is your son drinking now? I dont feed Zachary using bottle often, yesterday tried twice and he drank around 90ml. will get better when baby is older and can drink more milk.

usually when latch on lying down, i will lie down with him and will guide him, once my nipple is in his mouth and he is suckling, then put my head on the pillow. is your son on bm? should be ok to poo once or twice a day lah.

baby stretch until face red red is normal. my son also but it always happen when his tummy is not full i think thats why no milk come out. baby's organs not so develope yet mah.

U can try apply hazeline using a cotton bud. That's what i did. or give a bit of barley. i did that too. her rash cleared up a lot.
 
hi mummies! I m back from my 3d2n trip to vegas..baby was quite cooperative along the way..think my milk supply is affected! Only pump like 3times a day..engorged badly each time n can pump out more than 300ml...btw anyway interested in buyin coach bags? There r some impulsive buys dat i wana let go..my parents can bring back the bags to sg but gotta wait till oct..so no need to pay for shippin..lettin go at the factory outlet prices..if no buyers i will kp them..i hav a kate spade bag that i might wana let go too..its like the diaper bag size but does not come with the changin mat..still considering...let me know if anyone is interested ya?

My gal poo like once every 5 to 7days eh..she is on total bm but each time she poo is alot! N is soft..so i just let it b lo..i alrey tried to eat more vege n fruits le...

My gal had the same rash. My PD gave the fucidin H (steroid) for her and it cleared up within 2 days. Now looking pretty again.

but you latch on right? i didn't so will yield more... i pump till the medela bottle full to the brim and had to stop pumping...mine also blocked quite badly and I had to squeeze it soooo hard till it hurts! esp the ones at the bottom of the breast very hard to clear...
