Oh, cos we are the opposite .. hahha .. my hubby is a volcano, cannot sleep without aircon. But most of the time, coalie will want to sleep with us even if we dun switch on the aircon, though it's rare lah.

Hello All!

I've given birth to my Baby Boy!! It was a smooth and fast and easy delivery. Praise God! Simple as it is, show and waterbag burst at abt 8:30am on 23rd July. Reached hospital at 9:15am. Was dilating fast followed by few intense contraction. Was immediately pushed into delivery suite at 11am and had sudden intense urge to push. Baby came out at 11:27am!

i guess our EDD are very close.. I am at wk36 today.. just went to the gynae this morning and bb is 2.7kg.. I have put on 1.4kg in the last 2wks, all in all, I put on almost 10kg today.. I wonder when I can see my bb..

despite the occasional pain I feel down there, Dr assure me everything is ok and I will have to call him only when the contraction comes.. (I wonder if I will know when the pain hits me).. btw, did your gynae mentioned anything for u girls to watch out for???

Pegfurs/Zen/Pinkmama, I share all your concern about the dog meeting bb and vice versa.. actually I was really worried at the first place but hubby decided to let things take place naturally and for us, we have been constantly telling my cocker abt the new family member and we will love them all the same way.. hope he really understand what I am trying to tell him……

Joan, I think will be at normal ward when they insert the pill as it takes time to soften the cervix. Some cannot be induced successfully with just one pill inserted.
If the drip is oxytocin, its going to make the contraction quite painful and this drip will speed up the dilation.

Lawshe, my gynae said as long as there is a 5 mins contractions + show or water bag broke then can go into hospital liao. i am also kancheong... 4 weeks & 4 days left.

I also pack half way my hospital bag.

for the BW at CCK, I started doing BW with her since last year around Aug. Bought a package with her (3 times) then did twice but after that simply lazy to go for BW. haha. she is quite good but it takes quite long to finish the whole thing. from what i remember, before she pull she will let u know so that u can have a deep breathe and hold there to minimize the pain. I am not sure whats her price now tho.

Joann, haha...some say can walk,climb stairs and do squatting exercise to make it open. But its not true for everyone.
Some can don't do anything and still dilate fast and no feeling.
Some can do alot and still don't dilate.
