Cherrios, actually that is true also. Coz labour this kind of thing no hard and fast rule one. Can be chatting here one minute and next minute go into labour already.
I just pray for a very CLEAR sign and then a fast and smooth delivery!!! Heehee...sounds so greedy.

Same leh...I also have harden tummy for very long nowadays. Really cannot do anyting one lor...not even bend down to pick up something.

Piggy, hahaha..so its gastric, not contraction. Rest well today since weather so nice.

Must eat ginger meh? I thought as long as its in our food can liao?

ginger is gd to repel wind but if breast feed cannot take.. ya me too dun like ginger 1.. not to mention chew on it yucks...vinegar is ok la can eat

Ginger hor if eat will be more effective la but no no if u breastfeedin... if u wan expel wind fast can add to the longan reddates drink also

Hi Mummies,
I'm in my 38th week now...cant seem to fall asleep at nite at all...fingers veri numb all the time(even as im typing away) and feeling really tired but simply cant fall asleep. What's wrong? Last gynae checkup was last fri, said that my blood pressure went up to 140 suddenly (was 100-120 only). Isit the pressure that's affecting me? sometimes feel like my fingers going to burst
 
joann, hope u are ok, have to monitor ur BP closely as too high is dangerous.

mashy, either Playtex or lansinoh... go to the WTS thread and see whteher any mummy letting go since u need it urgently.

I am also on MC today.
Due to the sharp pain that I experience yday and the day b4, my husband insist that I go to the gynae to check if everything is ok.
Feels good to be able to wake up late and such cool weather to sleep in, slept till 11+ just now.

i was so tempted to take urgent leave to sleep more but cannot coz got too many backlogs considering I am going away for long maternity leave soon. Envy you!!

Not yet. Clinic almost closing for lunch liao so cant make it in time. Then later in the afternoon, my husband has a few appointment so we would be going in the evening instead.
Morning is ok, but will only experience the sharp pain ard late aftn, evening time...

I just ordered 4 boxes of Boots milk bags thou I dunno how good isit. I have leftover 3 boxes of Avent milk bags last time.

Dun use Avent cups to store milk, take up alot of storage space! For my #1 I do that initially wow my whole fridge all avents cups. Somemore it is much more expensive than milk bags.

My husband friend was saying this might be a sign of contraction too. So thats y my husband kanchiong, wana me to go to the gynae...

i ask my gynae once he say it due to ligament stretchin.. but now tt the sharp pain is more frequent n lower so was wonderin also....

my checkup last friday.. bb head turn down but have yet to engage yet.
next checkup will be next friday.
bb weight last check up is 2.4kg and doc est when bb cme out around 3kg.

n i put on arnd 12kgs wor.. my god.. i tot im stopping at 10kg cos does seems to increase before that..

but i recently felt bb kick a lot a lot more liao le.. like going to engage soon like that. when i sleep side way.. sometimes bb shift to side also.. a bit pain. haha...

where did u get the boots milkbag? my gf is using it, she compared to the blue egg milkbag and she said boots one better than blue egg cos it's easier to squeeze out the air bubbles.

my gf also wants to know where she can get the Boots milkbag. thanks!

i tink now i gain 10kg liao lately have notice my tummy expand more also... my baby also kick alot sometime can even see his feet pop up :p

talking about weight gain - i suddenly put on 1.3kg in one week! keke... so my total weight gain so far @ 37weeks+ is 7.1kg! bb is almost 3kg though... and my OB estimate he will be 3.1 - 3.2kg.

Aiyah, the avent cups are free mah, so just use lor. Coz had philips voucher & 40% off sale price, so just go to the showroom to sweep everything i can find lor. I also have avent washable breastpads prob going to sell them end of this week if i still don't leak.

i also hope bb will come out auto when he weight 3-3.2kg...

*wipe sweat* just finished packing part of my room and vacuum out all the dust in those build-in. then realised I havent wash those waterproof mat. *faint*

for baby toys, how do you girls wash them? throw into washing machine or hand wash?

should i use washing machine and dont let it tumble dry but hang dry till no water drip then hang out to sundry? will the toy get twisted if i let it tumble dry but put in laundry bag?

during labour
can i bring handphone in?

haha talking about boy, my hubby was like in heaven when we first found out Zachary is a boy! can play games with him... haha but Zachary seems to be a mommy boy now cos we are 24/7 together.

comics collection ah? What type of comics does your hubby read? Japanese manga? I have more manga collection than my hubby hahaha. his collection is peanut compared to mine. the ones he got like dragon ball, i got the full set + movie set. bought them when i was in primary/secondary sch using allowance. now i only read them online lor... where got the space to keep so many. i got about 6 full cartons of manga collected with dust and maybe cockroaches at my dad's flat.

I hope for girl for #2. Wanted to have a bunny girl or "xiao long nu". But don't think I can handle one 2-3 years old and a new born ah!

hahaha then my family will be a farm family. my hubby dog, me ox, #1 ox. :D i told hubby lets wait for 11 - 12 yrs then give birth to #2 (another ox). 3 ox with "niu pi qi" bully one "puppy".

wow! you should try to take a photo of Kyler's feet pop up leh!! My tummy too much fats from pre-preggie so doubt can see Zachary's feet pop up! Not to mention placenta is acting as his leg cushion. =( I think he is swimming inside my tummy now. wiggling left and right.

reira, the Mt A delivery ward has a clock, but I don't know about other places... u can always check from handphone or wear a watch?

haha yeah must go and find a watch cos both hubby and me dont have habit to wear watch. always use hp and hp will disrupt CTG machine!

oh... during labour and when i need to push, will i be strap with the CTG machine so that midwife will know when i have contraction?

i never wash the new toys. Just the old ones. If it's stuff toys, i threw into washing machine with laundry bag. Others i just surface clean with diluted dettol.

TMC delivery ward also has clock. once bb out, the nurse will inform u, what's the official time of bb birth
