I bought the lacy tube top from CK dept store for $2.90. There are longer type ones (cover till stomach) which is a few dollars more. Comes with crappy sponge padding too which I think will disintegrate after 1 wash!

Think Mango sales is still on... I bought those plain colour tubes for $9 there. (does not come with padding)

Usually those "ah soh / ah lian" clothes store will sell tubes... less than $10.

haha actually I only bought one 3 yrs old shirt lah. from tao bao cos cheap mah so cannot stand it and bought one for fun. I bought clothes for till 1 years old like around March or April! also because they are cheap! then around 5 till 18 mths. lol cheap mah. better to buy them else if buy locally, very expensive!!

when is your next gynae visit? I didnt even know my baby was engaged until i went to dr on mon!!! no wonder i kept feeling sharp pain at v area. actually is pelvic area same as v area? like infront, down there.

haha those "ah lian" clothing store's tubes is super small! and those bugis village/street ones i definately cannot wear!! Your lacy tube is really really nice for only $2.90!
 
Morning all.

Mickey, on tuesday night, i felt some contractions too, should be false contractions. Probably due to doing too much housework in the day.

My checkup at 36 weeks - bb is 2.8kg. Gynae told me not to eat too much now cos of my small size. My #1 was 3.2 kg, delivered at 38 weeks.

Apple, Braden and Ayden sounds quite similar. Next time you call one, then both respond, hehe... Final decision is still up to you

btw, i also wanna know where to get the post natal panties and the pureen maternity pads? it's not the loopy kind yeah?

your gynae said the exact same thing as my gynae!!!! my baby was 2.8kg at week 36 day 5 and dr told me really have to cut down on carbo cos he will be minimum 3.4kg nearer to week 40

reira/joeey...my gynae also told me the same thing. my lil one weighs 3kg at 36 wks...she was asking me whether i ate durians...and asked me to cut down...
in any case now, i can't eat a lot ...coz i get full easily...baby big liao...

RE: playpen mattress...

errh...think the std size is 41"x28" and thickness only have 2" or 3"...
have asked round already...

for a normal 3" foam mattress...is about $40 at kiddy palace(cos i bought 2 pcs recently)
so mattress cover also must match the thickness of mattress too...

3" mattress cover for playpen(from mamalove~brand) cost abt $20...
its whole fit(fully covered with zip...)

numbness is quite common durin 3rd trim as long as no cramp n contraction i tink u r safe but it gd to get urself prepared

i woke up this morning feeling pain down there again. dunno is it the baby pressing against my bladder or getting into position to be engaged. i so worried. decided to wake up early to pack my hospital bag. now looking thru all the forms tat i'm supposed to fill in.

hv u ladies filled in the forms for the baby bonus? i see all the forms i also sian & lazy to fill up.

btw, do we hv to bring nursing pads to hospital? or the milk won't come so fast so it's not necessary?

i'm starting to get gan jiong & kept asking hubby to be prepared. told him tis morning tat if fast, i'll deliver next wk, if slow will be 3 wks time. he said he alreadi told baby to come out on national day. crazy.

for the bra pad i am bringin 2pair jus in case anyway it v light so jus bring lor... i am only in my wk 35 so i tink even my baby engage most prob oly half engage nia... u dun stress urself too much ya..

First case of Pregnant mum got H1N1, now in intensive care unit at KK. Ladies, i think we should all try to wear mask when in crowded area.. its getting quite dangerous.

My Doc insist that I mask-up everywhere i go.. i tot he was being KS.. now that 1 pregnant lady is in ICU... make me scared.

A 22—year—old woman who is 24 weeks pregnant. She was admitted to KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital on Monday after she developed pneumonia and was tested positive for H1N1 at a private hospital.

On Tuesday, she was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for closer monitoring as her requirement for oxygen had increased. She has no underlying medical conditions.

kotex maternity pads can be bought from ntuc.. indvidually packed.. but i find them expensive as compared to pureen (not indivually packed)

i open 1 and try, the band there is not that comfortable, coz i go for c-section, i think the band will roughly around the wound area, if u go for natural, dun think its a problem.

Mine head down at week32 liao. Think it was ard week 29 that he turned head down, coz I already felt him kicking up high ard that time.

Piggytoh/Zen, I am also going for checkup tomorrow afternoon.

My down there feels painful even when I lie in bed. Every nite is a torture to me now as when I flip from one side to the other, its painful too. Stand up to go toilet also painful!
