you signed up MFS for the childcare? I just filled up and sent to them recently and am now in waiting list. best part is, the childcare is just opposite my block! if they have slot after K2 graduate, I might consider putting Zachary there and go back to work haha

sad.gif
must start collecting already. But how to accumulate points?

whole family taking turns to have flu. now my turn. last nite KO. din managed to browse thru taobao. just now browse thru then realised all those that i'm interested in all no size for ethan.
sad.gif
i still can't find a suitable jacket or sweater for ethan. any recommendation on where to get?

donkeymami,

ya, my jap fren also told me temp lowest is 15 highest 21. so not too cold. guess should be quite accurate since she's been living in tokyo all these while. unless there's a drastic change in weather tis yr.

Actually those who helpers might wanna consider registering for kindergarten rather than cc. I will be changing my #1 from Kinderland to Living Sanctuary Kindergarten next year for K2. Their programmes won me over... they have weekly water play, those DIY "real life" scenarios like supermarket shopping, cafe, airport, etc. And the fee is so much cheaper. I am paying around $700 + $150 additional for misc speech and drama etc in kinderland but the kindy is only about 500 for per term which is 3 months!

so maybe mommies with grandparents helping can consider lor.

piggy, hvnt discuss wif hubby yet..if i sign up will be in Nov-Dec not sure they hv intake or not. i will go for the billingual one.

I like the GUG class but seems like my boy not so interested in learning...
from the 1st moment when teachers asked to say bye bye to the toys, he already unhappy! refused to let go of the ball he was holding, so bad- tempered throughout the class

overall, I quite like the GUG @ mountbatten, lots of parking (can park right at the doorstep!) and its new but nearby it there's nothing...
I didnt ask, but I think the teachers during the trial class are Singaporeans.
Anyway, I dont think I can ever be a teacher, how can these teachers maintain so much energy level throughout the class?
Half way thru I already very "low batt" (maybe age also...) and I'm not even singing and talking.
Maybe 90mins is abit too much.

the place is so nostalgic... my old primary 1 school building... before we moved to Tampines.

Donkeymami,
me also considering GUG...which branch u signing up with?

Re: ttc

sharon & piggy, i thk suntec branch will b more convenient for me at least it's accessible via train mah. novena heard the center vy small right?

For billigual class will b conducted by chinese teacher?

Any idea wat's the class size for GUG? cos yesterday the trial was only 5 kids but they hv 3 teachers.

piggy, do u knw how much playdays charging? GUG is charging $168+ per mth (4 lessons)but school fee need to pay for term (8 lessons)

RE: GUG
april is gog to sign Edric up for GUG.. n im mostly likely gog to sign up Mattea & Keona there too. we're gog to the mountbatten ctr. like the space there..like kiki said..the carpark is juz at door step.

at present, we hv not confirm to take up the 2pm or 4pm class. they r targeting to start the 2pm class if we (3 bbs) can confirm. i told them we wld prolly start in october bah.

the bilingual class is oni in suntec..i tink oni weekdays classes (if i heard correctly).

btw, fees for GUG is $50 (reg fee) + $168*2 (8 lessons)

sharon/kiki:: let's go mountbatten ctr tog lar.... sun aftnn class... now it's juz deciding if we wan the 2pm or 4pm class niah. lala~

kiki:: i just spoke to the lady at mountbatten, i told her most likely we will start first sunday of october.. (but shld be reverting to her lastest end of this week to confirm). she shld be able to start the class for us if we can confirm. which do u prefer? 2pm or 4pm?
(actually i prefer 4pm.. cos by the time finish class.. go MIL hse for dinr..ya..dun hfta be there for so long! BUT, just another tot now that aft the 2pm class, can go for swim.. so.. ya.. i guess i will opt for the 2pm class now!)

donkey:: i dun tink so that i will continue such enrichment classes after they start school. can NEVER afford manz! hahaha. ya.. so NO for me. hehe.

Hi everyone, good morning.

kikilala: thanks for organising the GUG trial.

My take on GUG: rooms quite spacious, carpark lots plenty. the curriculum is ok. My boy like the sing-song part. But kids at their age, like to crawl/run wild. It's kinda hard to make them sit down properly when the teachers are talking.

My frenz 's daughter 20 mths is with GUG - Novena. She said, during a normal class, there are 2 teachers, 1 malay young teacher and 1 angmo middle-aged teacher, and the classrooms are smaller.

I think I will sign-up, but duuno which location. Still considering.

fatbobo, cos i most prob send jovia to those void deck CC cos hubby dun like the idea to send them too far away cos not safe for them to take school bus since they still so young & we dun drive to work. he got his points too. cos i saw my BIL sent his son to tanjong pagar for CC & purposely find a job there. even the job is not wat he want.

oh btw... i like the playroom (waiting room.. or watever they call it) at mountbatten too. hehe. (i like sitting in the playhouse.. cos i nvr had a chance to play in such playhouse when i was young!!!) bleahx~

LOL~

donkey:: wah seh.. really 'tian xia fu mu xin'...for the child.. yur BIL just settle for a job so it's convenient for his son to be in a (good?) tanjong pagar CC. *clap clap*

Baby's $168 is for 4 lessons oli..not 8.

Fatbobo, ya lo..cos his son dun wan to chg CC but too bad my hubby not so weida..so i thk my gal will b end up in void deck cc
sad.gif

donkey:: duh? 'his son dun wan to chg CC'??? like dat oso can?!?

oh.. hehe.. then u chg yours la? hehehehe. but donkey..dun worry lar....doesnt mean void deck cc means they're no good. some void decks de oso fantastic de.. good mah, vdcc normally cheaper is rite? good deal then, convenient, cheaper.....n still get the fun!
