Well, mine did disappear slowly after my delivery unless you're telling me that those aren't stretchmarks and i was imagining them. In fact, it will get more faint and become silvery lines for some. Mine is all gone now. For some unlucky ones, yes it will stay with them forever.

FBI is First Born Incentive programme. For OSCAR, there's 10% disc & if your doctor registered under this programme, delivery fee will have 5% disc (max $100). Other benefits r discounts for prenatal classes etc.

It was my gynae who called n told mi e results. I slept well last nite n i am happier after doing the test. hee!

For now, gotta sourcing out for CL.

There's some articles which say that these stretchmarks do disappear. Everyone's skin is different, so don't be too quick to make judgement. There's a photo of how stretchmarks look like in the article since you've probably not seen it yet. Mine is more brown than red as portrayed.

How come u have stretchmarks when this is your #1 kid? Unless u had them in your teenage years. The linea nigra that i had during my teenage years stayed with me till now.

wow, how did u manage to put on 12kg in 3 mths! That's a lot. Even during preg, we don't put on that much wt in 3 mths. Well, maybe preg ones will. For some.

too much carbo.. i literaly have bread or pizza for every meal including tea break LOL if not buffet... even my relative cant recognise me... and dh said back then I was like a ball.. now im like a stick
and i lost them all in abut 4 mth too
hope such miracle happen aft i give birth HAHAAAAA

It's not good for your wt to yoyo like that. Very 'shang shen'. No wonder u have stretchmarks, coz the sudden increase in wt will give u stretchmarks. I just put on 5kg in my 1st trimester during my 1st preg and I already kenna stretchmarks.
We're no longer young when we can eat as much as we like and never put on wt.

Hi girls, anyone you still suffering from MS? I don't know is it due to flu or MS or a combination of both. Totally no appetite for the past week. Can't eat, only eat a few pieces of plain bread a day. Feeling all weak and lightheaded. Just want to crawl under a rock and hide away.
Can't wait for this to go away and regain the 3kg I lost the past week.

I remember seeing Eu Yan Seng's ad that they don't add caramel to their chicken essence. Maybe u wanna check it out.

My next visit will be 12 Jan so the nurse said just continue my multivitamins for time being & they'll give me iron tablets only in my next visit. I'm worried will affect my bb & thinking to buy some iron tablets outside first. What brand of iron tablets r u taking? Is your fainting due to lack of iron also?

the doc at kkh no say my fainting due to lack of iron but she said since i am in 2nd tri liao can start taking

im taking obimiin. its quite a common iron supplement for preggy ladies i tink. quite cheap too.

Read in the chinese websites that cannot take in 1st trimester. Coz 1st trimester is the time when the bb is forming, it can lead to deformity. So best to avoid.

am seeing Dr Wong only on 17 Jan..called to make appt on 6 Dec and the nurse said earliest appt is only 17 Jan..it's a long wait right? Actually I did visit another random gynae just to confirm heartbeat a few weeks back and she did give me an EDD in July but Dr Wong' nurse said EDD may change during 2nd scan so thought of letting u know the confirmed EDD after my 2nd scan on 17 Jan.

yeah no choice coz the nurse said that was the earliest date..tho i am getting very concerned that it's quite late..coz would be in my 12th week then.
Yammummy, i read that ur last visit with Dr Wong was 30 Dec..may I know when u called them to make the appt? I called on 6 Dec but was already given Jan date..don know if the nurse made a mistake ..

i tink the fish oil can buy nerogain one. most of my gf take that and im taking too. certain brand of fish oil not suitable cos i tink gotto depend on which part of the fish and what kind of fish it comes from.
tat day the gynae say can take fr 2nd tri onwards.
some ppl take from day 1 of pregnancy. i tink no harm taking earlier as it helps in the baby brain developement
quite hard to pinpoint when exactly each baby brain develope

My first visit with Dr Jocelyn Wong was also a long wait - on 9 Dec 08. Then after the first visit, I was given the next appt date on 30 Dec 08 of 3 wks interval.(In the end I have to visit her on Xmas eve urgently cuz of some cramps but it was all good in the end *relieved*)
My next visit will be another 3 weeks' time on 15 Jan 09, and I will be about 11 & 1/2 weeks pregnant. Oh I will also be doin my OSCAR test at the upcoming visit on 15 Jan. I am also gettin impatient and also hope to see my bb's scan soon. My hubby has done his blood test at ACJ Clinic on my 1st visit.
For ACJ Clinic, its always very packed with appts one. When I first scheduled my pap smear with Dr Jocelyn Wong, I'd to wait for nearly a month!
