i've used nepia before... now using drypers pantz... not bad...
heard tis : not to let boy wear diaper for too long, bad for their 'reproductive' sys...(is tat the correct term?) dun know true anot...

Have u all started toilet training your kids?

Sun: My boy now keeps tugging his diaper when its quite heavy and sometimes when he poo poo, he will also point to his diaper and make noise. So I think he maybe ready for toilet training soon

not sure mine consider toilet trained...
when he's abt 6 mths old, my mum already trained him using the red potty to poo... he'll info us said 'er er', then we'll let him sit on the potty...
ard 13mths, we upgrade him to toilet bowl n he do his business there...

but when we r outside, if he really need to poo, i let him poo in his diaper coz i found tat outside toilet quite dirty n my boi will touch here n there when he's sitting on it...
mayb when he's older then can let him do it at outside toilet...

for pee, my mum said need to bring him to toilet mayb every hr for a start... then slowly teach him to tell us if need to go toilet... sound troublesome hor... muhahaha

abiuyt pull up.....i have tried momy poko, huggies, nepia and Goon...

i prefer GOON ones as it is squarish rather then longish type...that can cover the entire butt cheeks..hehehe

remedy for runny nose...

1. Miso with chives
boil chives in with water or stock
once boil add miso and off th efire..
feed baby when cooled..

2. red dates with brown rice
use about 6-7 red dates (pitted)
1 litre water
some brown rice
boil till rice is cooked
strain and use water only...
serve warm.

these are the recipes i obtained form a chinese theraphy book for toddlers...hehe

hope its useful.

Mummies going for the Goodwood Park HT.

I was there last year for the high tea (also in a big group) and needed a place to breastfeed my son. Went to the hotel counter to ask for the location of nursing area and the manager gave us a hotel room instead. He personally led us to the room, gave us the room key and told us once we are ready, simply pass the key to the hotel counter. ;)

U guys may want to try asking.

we went to the soup restaurant at a hotel opp far east plaza, the one beside dfs, the toilets are so inconvenient and cramp. No changing room and the best thing was, my hubby n i had to quickly and hid in a cubicle to change bb as she poo alot. then he quickly sneaked out. the recep just told us no changing room. disgusting right for a hotel...i told hubby we have to boycott that hotel...not child friendly.

i do heard that some hotels are so nice that they offer you a room to bf...

re:toilet training
we've started last week but only for half day...but it's already been so tiring for us..he keeps crying if we put him on the toilet too long..but when we get him up...he pee / poo
recently he started to get the idea.. after he poo he will tell us "poo poo" and run to the toilet..but of course too late..he already poo on his diaper..so far only 1x success..
sigh..it takes patience..alot of patience!

Would like to share with you this product. Sol-U-Guard Botanical Disinfectant by Melaleuca. It is proven to kill 99.9% of bacteria and viruses on any hard, nonporous surface, no harsh fumes and leaves no harmful residue, no bleach or phosthates, and most importantly gentle to use around kids and pets.

Usually i will wash my boy's toys with water. Im not sure is it clean enuf to just wash with water.But now with this Disinfectant it saves up my time, i just need to spray it on his toys. Its so easy and not so expensive thou..
