need some help urgently. anyone can teach me how to clear blocked milk ducts myself?

got this massive block that got worse since yesterday. already did hot compression, massage, manual express, machine express, baby latching, all did not work. worse is i feel so flu-ey so dun dare to go near baby too much.
 
donroxx, how long has this been? is it pain? make sure it doesnt turn red & pain..if prolonged will b serious..if nobody can help, u better call to the lactation consultant for advise or call ur gynae..

went for a scan on Tuesday and confirmed its blocked milk ducts. was given Danzen to reduce the swelling. you can get Danzen at Guardian pharmacies over the counter.

I got this problems whereby the block last for 1 wk+ & swell in red regardless I massage or let bb latched or using cabbage oso no use. I went to see Gynae & given a compress lotion & medicine to stop milk immediately, still the same. finally I went to lactation consultance for help, but too late, it had turned into piles which need the breast specialist to aspire out. So, suggest u go & see lactation consultant asap don't delay not gynae. And never take the medicine for stopping the milk,as your breast size will reduce like me (soooo sad ).

could be that he is wearing the wrong size. I had the problem before. Then I realised that baby was in the "in-between size" stage thus the leakage. No more problem eversince I changed her to the bigger size. Mine was huggies ultra and Huggies dry comfort

Thanks for the advice. when i discovered it, it was already the size of 2 thumbs and at the base so very hard to "push" out. By the time i sent out SOS here, it was the size of 3 thumbs. Thankfully it went down at noon and now about the size of 2-3 peas. the suck thing is i got a broken blister on the skin cos i keep rubbing/massaging/pushing, so cannot massage liao. what bananawatermelondurian way to spend my bday man.

Lenny.. where did you go for the scan? Is it like mammogram? if like mammogram i scared milk squirt at the machine haha.

Piggy.. oh my, my beloved breasts already sagging after bfing, if reduce then will look like those tribal women with no bra! I tried to get hold of Sis Kang this morning but she din pick up sigh. if my ducts dun totally clear tomorrow i'll go see her.

Re Friso Stage 2. I have a sample tin (the normal size tin) if anyone wants it. New and unopened recieved it when i joined their FB. Will not be needing it cos factory left and right are still working (plumbing needs clearing but still working none the less). If any one wants, pm me ya.

I gave Jovan salmon yesterday and he kept rubbing his eyes as he ate. Does that means that he is allergic to it? He also retched a few times. That means he does not like the smell right?
