yah lor. I want to buy more teethers, plus the inflatable rubber duckie bath tub. Ordered from this spreeish months ago before but it was OOS then. I bought my tri flow colic reducing milk bottles from this webby too. Very good. No need to change teats, just twist it to adjust the flow speed. But think that is OOS now.

hai. today my last day of "freedom" tmr back to work full time le. so sian... my lil bro wanted to treat us to jacks plc tonight... i wanted to go... but becos his "gf" going so i dont want to go le. (i had some mini issue with my lil bro which resulted in her calling me names and passing remarks which i will never ever forget... i told my bro i will nvr forget it and dont expect me to "forgive" her.. i dont ever want to see her face at any of our gatherings!! HB is also pissed with the remarks she passed and said if he ever sees her, he wil tell her off strt in the face. anyway, my lil bro and her have been breaking n patching back like dunno what for the past 6yrs -_-". shes supposed to be going overseas to study soon. gd riddance!)

so sian. party pooper. sigh. my mum n eldest bro going lor. so left me n kirsten at home. duno wad to cook for myself for dinner. hb OT wil be home late. bummer lor. =(

My boi is LOM *Little Old Man for very long...esp when he gets cranky n screams...nowadays he has more ways to get our attn...his voice comes in different pitch levels too...

TV viewing...indeed if we cant beat them, join them...things much simpler w/o a TV but then we will b living like cave dwellers...e best is to let them view selectively w time limit n e rest of e time will b outdoor activities/ indoor fun games...discipline starts e minute they progress as toddlers...as for ADHD...itz a mixture of factors so lez not blame it totally on TV...hmmm tat explains why kids nowadays find school boring...unless e chers can teach like a magician hahaha...

Prosper - Y u give ur girl soy? Is she lactose intolerant? Do u know back in UK we are against giving babies soy milk as it will cause them to be infertility in future.

And soy too can cause big time constipation... My 2 cents worth of comment... ;)

Prosper - usually they will start the baby out with soy scared they will have any allergy reaction. If u are worried start with NAN HA 1... see if no reaction then slowly mix with NAN pro 1...
 
Seabreeze - If thats the case I will neg with queenie contacts to see if I can get cheaper deal... Stay tune ladies... I will email that lady once I get queenie's contact...
 
Prosper - NAN HA can get anywhere... just any milk powder on the shelves... So far I nvr hear any babies who consume NAN have constipation...

I recently start my boy with NAN... he is ok with it and he poo twice daily... B4 with just my BM, he poo 2 day once...
 
Oh since prosper already email her think we will just stick to that email incase she think wah so many pple interested with the dvd and start to become cocky... hehehe...
 
prosper, marissa is drinking similac now. I try changing to NAN the other time cos heard that it is more similar in taste to BM but marissa didnt like it. So I have to change back to similac. So far I find its quite good.

actually hor ... one of my malaysian friends just told me that in Msia can buy the entire "chiong" set for 35RM. China version lagi better cos will have Eng AND Mandarin! heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

anyway I have mine already. My bro burnt for me but the quality is not so good lor. Tried a couple and the discs hang halfway. And it's not easy to burn either cos you need to know how to decode the CDs.

It's been a super long while since i last post anything here. Been a silent reader all these while. Hee. Seems like many of you are still on ML, I have been back to work on 1Jun09 even though i have also took the full 4mths. cos my Davis had decided to be a Feb baby instead..

Can I just check with u mummies, when is a gd time to get a high chair? me still deciding between bumbo or a high chair. ...
 
blurgal - highchair is better choice. for long term use. cn use to feed baby . bumbo is jus temporary thing.
wil outgrow by 6mths

Seabreeze!!! can you do a little men and little miss series? last time so many people were selling for like $185 for both series.. something like that. Thought very exp so never buy. Now I can't find it anywhere. From UK bookstores it will cost at least $350. Sob sob. I am dying to buy little men and little miss. I grew up reading those books from Toa Payoh library and Pei Chun library. I love those characters.

actually i was a terrible student as well. Cannot pay attention. Always kenna wacked by teachers one. Last time teachers can wack as they please. :p

Hahaha tell your hubby to try the gorilla dance. Prance around basically. My hubby says he burnt alot of fats trying to entertain her. Damn funny. He made me laugh instead of her.

bumbo cannot be used as a feeding chair for long. You will need a high chair. I bought the Chicco Polly highchair at a special special price at robinsons two months ago when they did an exclusive promo on it. It's still in the box for me but my friend who's baby is 7.5mth old has been using it for two months liao. She says it's fantastic too. I did alot of research before finally deciding on that.

Hey mommies, if you want to check out gadgets you can try checking out on youtube. There are alot of independent baby gadget reviews qwhere you can see product demos etc. Very useful. One such youtube member is Babygizmo. They did a pretty extensive review on baby high chairs. Chicco Polly was one of their top 5 recommendations so I bought it.

The other one I thought was good was the combi one that daphne recommended. Very good swing/rocker cum feeding chair though I wouldn't call it a high chair cos it sits quite low. Looks v comfortable.

Chicco Polly 2-in-1 (double phase) high chair
Usual price SGD345. Got it at robinson at SGD239. Pricey but I heard really good reviews for it so figured it's worth buying.

Basically these are a couple of things I look out for

*cushion material. It gets dirtied do easily that for practical reasons i want it in a fuss free material. Vinyl is better than cotton cos you need to wash the latter very often. for vinyl i just need to wipe down w a wet wipe
* height extensions. How high or low it can go
* recline angles.
*double tray.
*harness. 5point is better
*stability. filmsy ones are too scary
*storage. whether it can be folded up to save space
