if she drink FM then she must drink water cos FM is suppose to be more heaty and some brands will cause constipation for some bb ... thats why you must try a few brands until u find one that is suitable for bb

some brands that are q known to be heaty are similac & S26 (or something like that)

seabreeze, huh due to brand?? I always tot FM is the same. Then i think i should change brand. But she is drinking Mamex Gold. It is soy.

yap ... like my fren's bb is on FM ... she had to try many brands until she find the right one

i personally like enfaclac lar cos when my #1 drank that after i wean him off ... no problem but then again maybe cos by then he is q big le

FM has different composition for all brands ... after a while you will realise
 
prosper change to non-soy!! Actually babies should be taking cow milk FM unless they are allergic. Then can try goat or soy milk. I had the same problem too as she started on Friso Soy. After we changed to Nan it was better. Then changed again to Hipp Organic and now no problem at all. But she also takes a lot of BM la, so the natural laxative is there.

A good news: my SIL has given birth to her newborn son but in Canada, hiaz..cant give him my kisses n hugs physically, hope we can fly over soon next yr!
 
sportyger, i still pump but my supply getting lower. now only pump twice a day, each session only 5-10mins 50ml max. no more engorged for 12 hrs.. soft liao. then eventually will stop. So now only let baby drink one packet BM, the rest of day drink FM

i always try to take leave for bday ... cos if suai suai kanna scolding will be damn sianz the whole day
 
and yes I seriously recommend Hipp Organic to anyone. If you meet me , just ask for sample. You can see there are no bubbles when baby is drinking when compared to any other brands. Much cheaper than Bellamy's and Organic too. Worth it!
 
prosper, I don't think so. They have Bellamy's at NTUC though. If you want I can help you buy one box to try. In any case just switch to non-soy and you will see the diff.

You try to feed Kayle with more water. Anver sometimes also got hard time pooing. My mum every half hour fed him with water than it is better.
 
Kome, Thanks! According to my mum, she fed her 40ml water in between but still like that.

Prosper, sure cos I am going to get milk and teats from the shop soon. In the meantime, promise me you'll switch to non-soy.

Lenny, how? any news about the connectors? I saw that Toys R Us website has it for USD$9.90.
 
I need some help here.. My boy got a penis sore.. Hw to deal w it? Shld see a PD? So sianz..he must recover from his fever coz' of the jabs.. Now got a sore..I very heart pain lehz..Swell so big!

Hugz.. I kw hw u feel when it's a shitty day on ur birthday.. Try looking at ur gal's pics.Im sure it will brighten yr day. Anyway, like Kome says, giving water in between FM should help with constipation. If not, u have to switch brand

Make it 2.. itz my hatch day too...Cancer women known to hav 2 extreme sides...extremely nurturing when good mood...extremely cranky *i call it crabby when stressed...noe ur frus...aniwae live ur day w minimal expectations...who noes after ur pat tor session w hb, ur darling will pass out loads of 'gold' to show u ya...don worry k...

On FM, bb's digestive sys shld b more resilient as compared to birth...so cow's milk shld b encouraged.

I read frm an article frm Mothers and Babies mag...e pd said cow's milk is still e preferred choice as extensive R has been done, whereas not much is done for goat's milk or other substitutes...oso e difference bet FM brands not so sig...if not sure itz good to try samples 1st...

For heatiness, this is wat i observe...on my boi...
a. Enfalac...heaty...my boi has pak sai ard his eyes e next day morn...
b. Similac...qite good! E only peeve is e whitish particles left on e inner surface of e bottle
c. Friso Soy...tried a bit but threw it away as expired liao...

Guess i stick to Similac cos itz e chosen brand by KK...May change as he grows older...

Hi Tusky, and fellow pretty mamas,
no lah, my "hatch day" as tusky coined it, is not today lah. Today is Prosper and Tusky. Mine is tomorrow. Same as the late princess diana. She was my idol when I was little. Princess mah, so beautiful and same birthdate somemore. So sad when she died. Yah cancerian. But I don't really believe in horoscope. Says I am very homely. Not true leh. Always like to be out and about. Don't like to stay cooped up at home.

it's ok babe. When one door closes, another will surely open. Have patience. Looks like your heart is not at your current job. Now to leave? Sales people need a lot of focus and discipline. Once your heart is not there it's very very hard to bring sales in. My ex colleagues and boss are still asking me to go back. Money is damn good, though won;t be as good as when I left cos I gave up my portfolio to someone else liao. But the thing is, I'm too distracted by baby already so I rather not go back and give a half baked performance. Prefer to keep my reputation intact. hehehe

yah lor seldom come in nowadays. Sometimes just come in once a day to browse. Somedays I don't even come in. Seem to be stuck playing games on FB alot. BB is also demanding more and more of my attention these days. Getting more and more alert and playful

Speaking of which,
Kris wants to have a sewing gathering to make dolls. I was thinking either at Chinatown or arab street for those who need to buy accessories and gfabrcs. OR can come to my place as well since I have a sewing machine. Anyone else want to join? Any suggestion? No idea when yet. Was initially thinking of next week but then my loot would still be in transit.

Gmarket still has but it's a diff seller now and he's charging $224 instead of $190. Same here. Finally clearing out the spare bed in my ground floor room so was about to buy the playmat, only to realise that it's so much more exp now. Sian.

Think I will wait lor. Will message the previous seller and ask if he has stocks coming in soon.

I just remembered, I still have a red bumbo with tray at my friend's place in London! Wow biang. Completely forgotten about it. Was super KS and bidded for one on ebay UK when I was still preggie. My friend was supposed to bring it back for me when she came back for a holiday one month after I gave birth. But turned out that she found the box too bulky and I was soo paiseh to ask her so it's still stuck there. My goodness. Damned. Cost me SGD45 somrmore. Hmm must ask her to resell it for me.

ooo so exp hor .. i go search for it later. anyway hb wan order from ssw at bp. he getting parklon +_+ and smaller dimensions saying when bb grows up wont need so big mat animore. but i don agree juz keep my mouth shut haha since he paying.
i tot the bumbo with tray would be better? at least wont fall out that easily? do u think so ?
