vernice, local Sophie distributor selling for $29 with min 24 pcs order. Retail price is $39. I rather help you bring back from France than refer you to them. Going to ask MIL to bring back some as gifts for all my friends who are popping soon. Not sure if she can though because she is already bringing back quite a few things for my little one.

one of the mummies posted the a site but i think its in USA. another option will be buying preloved ones from Amazon.

mummies who were asking abt the price of bumbo . bebepod.... i tink who actually listed (was it idlecat) - mums and babes aheva gd deal cesides kiddy palace.. last i saw was 139++ for bebepod &amp; 60++ for bumbo (without tray) and no further 20% .. but if mummies could afford.. can buy new ones.. esp those with no 1.. so that can pass down to other siblings and also resell later at at least half the price if maintained.. keep the box though.. feels it sells better with box...

Baby Einstein - I feel the music is good but the visuals are very amateurish.

Yes yes.....the visual is sooooo.....boring that i almost fall sleep. Was actually wondering if children like to see it or not and to my surprise.....my elder son likes to watch it. Don't know is it because he just loves to watch any VCD or really like the visual.

Talking about educational stuff...I have succumbed to the GD package! Went to the Young Parents Fiesta on Sat at Marina Square and there is a Glenn Doman booth. HB and I were blown away by their 'live' advertisement. A 2 yr old can recognise words like 'Hot', 'Dry' 'Cup', we were so convinced that we signed up the English pack on the spot for a good $1500plus payable by 12mth instalment. I think I have become a Kiasu mum.

i juz wan to get something to entertain him so i can have my own time. nowadays tristan is slping lesser in the days. that explains why im a lil missing in the thread nowadays. i like baby einstein becoz it have music.. i don mind not introducing him to books but i think music is essential ..

u can try go youtube search for baby einsteins . they have samples for u to see..

queenie, thanks! Of course I don't mind 2nd hand as long as in good condition. Tray is about $20. If I get the Bebepod then maybe won't get the Bumbo tray. i want to use it as a feeding chair.

are you gals looking for high chairs. i need somehting to put brianne on while i am busy around the house. will need to shift the chari where i am cos she needs to see me else.. she will tear the whole house down with her wailing

i see that most of you mummies are either getting bumbo or bebepod.. is it ok to leave this on our normal dining chair?
 
Lenny NOOOOOOO cannot put the Bebepod or Bumbo on chair unless you are right next to her. In fact, cannot put on any raised surfaces unless you are next to her.

my baby will 'scold' me if i irritate him. He will 'ah' very loudly and when I try to touch his cheeks, he will turn around and seems to be trying to bite me. very cute.

Queenie... to me, i feel quite pain.. like ants biting... but just for the initial start, after that will be numb and not so painful.

my brows are swollen and reddish now... hopefully it will subside soon... and hopefully it's nice...
