Going for a one-week holiday soon (jul 4 coming.. hee).. hopefully wouldnt gain too much weight from the holiday...

yah agree with lipstar try and bring bb out alone for a little while. go for a walk to the shops nearby or something. sooner or later will have to bring bb out alone anyway, cannot stay at home all the time otherwise will go nuts one. will also be good for bb to start getting used to being taken out.

yah good if your coy / boss n team is the understanding type. btw, i don't know why i keep thinking that you are a teacher? are you? one of my sils is a teacher and she is expecting twins now. so cute. highly likely that she will request for a 3/4 or even 1/2 load once babies are out. how nice to have that flexibility

super tiring but really got to make effort to spend time with bb as much as possible when one gets home after work and on the weekends. i'm SAH at the moment but hb and i always make sure that he interacts with bb and effectively takes over bb responsibilities when he gets home in the evenings so that bb will also be close to his father. also gives me a break and can spend some couple time with hb as happy parents. speaking of which,

really must make effort ah. not just for fear of extramarital affairs, but just general relationship health man. we made an effort the past week to get some quality alone time after bb goes to bed. over the weekend even slept damn damn late just to spend more time together watching films/chatting/preparing and enjoying a good dinner/dessert/coffee. really helps as i had been too tired/stressed since bb entered our lives to make an effort, and hb been working hard as well as he is currently sole breadwinner.
but imho hor, passion or not, it is still not an excuse to enter into an affair lah. matter of integrity i personally feel...

Nope. Me not teacher. No patience with kids.. hahaha. ANyway, I am an auditor with one of the government agencies. My work is project based, meaning if advance notice is given, we can take long leave like i am doing now. And if we need to take leave, we are free to do so as long as we are able to complete the project milestones on time.

Oh. I am not ambitious kind. My current work is just so I can earn my own keep, can buy my own things. Not earning much, no way for promotion either. That is why it's ok if I quit. I don't earn much anyway. Just that I won't have savings and if I want to buy things, may have to dig into my savings.
Last night I test water (hee) asked hubby if I were to quit be SAHM and if I want to buy things how? He asked me buy what thing? I say like clothes or small trinklets like cheap cheap silver rings, earrings.. etc. Then he replied "U stay at home. Buy new clothes for what?"

my boi oso can sleep longer in yaolan... he can sleep in bouncer too but shorter time than sleep in yaolan... at night, he'll sleep at his bb cot... my mum oso prefer yaolan as she said bb tends to sleep longer coz more cooling n secure in it... most important, bb's head will be round =)

spoke to my boss again today. feel like im getting exploited... grrr... but anyway , managed to get minimal pay cut la... haii... the cpf contribution jus nice to cover the mthly payout for hdb loan... booo... anyway better then nth.. but il be wrking mon-fri.. then 2 of the days will be 24hrs... so sian... =( anyway considering leaving la... maybe end of this yr ba... my colleague also wants to resign... hahaha! we've been saying wan to resign 1 yr ago... but we're still here. LOL

Currently I only pump 2-3 times a day, mostly at night because I gave EBM for 2 of her night feeds as she will be too sleepy to latch properly.
Really don't want to kenna blocked ducts again - it's sooo painful!
Hee hee, I also haven't been to church for a long time, esp since the government took away the huge parking lot where I used to park. Now if I go to church, I also don't know where I can park lor. SOme more now with a bb, lagi worse - sooo lazy to go to church, and then what if bb's cranky?! Wonder if my church has a creche, but will still worry.

alfafa,pei, talking about going to church, I am still attending service every week but have stop going to cell group after giving birth.Find it very difficult to go now cos its during the weekdays and really have no energy to go. I also feel that its now more challenging to go to church esp with a baby. Its worse when bb gets cranky during service. I have encounter it once where bb was cranky and ended up I carried bb outside and miss the whole service. But I think its good to get our weekly dosage of God's words in our life.

Somehow i find myself lacking the energy to get up bright and early for a sunday morning service lor. Nowadays if i have a few hours to spare, I would catch up on sleep or surf SMH, like now!!
How are you finding work at the moment? Still adjusting? Hope bb Marissa stops crying during bath times soon. My hb bathes the bb at 11pm, before her last feed and always sing some 3 little ducks songs to her. Think it kind of help to soothe her.

Ya, we have learnt this part about creating couple time since after the birth of #1. The good thing is our work place, though ultra far from where we stay, is near each other. So, we go to work and then home together. Time is the car is precious couple time where we get to catch up with each other. At night, I pump in the study room where hubby will be accessing his laptop. So, the presence is still there and we fen1 gong1 he2 zhuo4, as in after I finish pumping, I will prepare the milk for chilling, heating up ebm for baby and rinsihg the pump parts. He will wash up the pump parts whilst i dream feed the baby.
Talking about baby's gender. I had someone asking me if baby K is a girl or boy that day when I dressed her in a PINK PINAFORE. Boys wear pinafore one meh?!
Baby being assertive... well, mine is already showing her preference. When my dad shows her toy number one, she likes and she smiles. When my dad shows her toy number two, she doesn't like and she makes a face and fuss for it to be removed from her sight. 3 months old. woah.
Kopi.... When I got pregnant and kept to one cup of coffee a day, my 3pm kopi-kakis say they miss me a lot. Haha. We usually jio each other at 3pm for coffee. Usually just make our own coffee but will pop our heads into each other's cubicle enroute to the pantry.

My hairdrop is very significant now also. I have not seen so much hair covering my sewer hole in the shower area after a single bath for a long time!

My baby seems to have her moods too. All these while, I have been latching her direct but give her one bottle of ebm a day. She takes to the bottle ok but twice so far, she rejected the bottle and cried blue murder until I pop my nips into her mouth.

Pei, I guess with a bb now, time is really precious. I agree that whatever free time we may have now, we try to catch up on our sleep and having some "me" time.
Work is fine but its quite tiring trying to juggle work and bb. After reaching home, I will try to play and feed baby. By the time I do her last feed, I am totally exhausted and feels like dozing off. Its worse when she gets cranky. I also hope marissa will stop her crankiness when bathing soon.

My mum will be the caregiver when I return work. She said if without yaolan, she won't be able to do housework and cooking. So no choice loh... Sat she got someone to drill yaolan to ceiling at her place. And mum will go and buy yaolan cloth to sew next. I hope baby won't crave for yaolan when back at home.

i also have thin cornea, plus i have super high degrees (at least 1000 for EACH eye plus 200 astig for EACH eye!). went to national eye centre but doctor says cannot do lasik. so i went to dr. jerry tan, he's the best! made me wear my goggly glasses for 2 months until my degrees stabilized (coz i was wearing hard contact lenses) then did the lasik for me (lasek for the other eye which has higher degrees). he did warn me about the side effects (ie. i can see haloes around the lights at night time) but it doesn't affect me much. driving at night is a bit intimidating but ok once i got used to it. if u are really interested, do book an appt with him n he can better advise u. Brianne used to scream the minute we remove her swaddle and wonlt stop crying till we finished bathing her and re-swadlled her.
now she is alright.. give Marissa time.. she will outgrew this phase

i had similar experiences.. i dressed Brianne in Pink romper, pink socks and then had a head band with a flower on it..
i met this Aunty who can still ask me.. " Is this a boy ah?"
I replied to this auntie.. " Auntie, she whole outfit is pink and has a flower headband of course girl la... if boy will become " Ah Qua" liao lor.. then the auntie say " pai seh ah.."

regina - she wil make u lie dwn. she wil need u to boil pot of hot water for her to put her stone in. =P then towels. lie dwn. she wil massage for u. i didnt get the milk fountains. the others did. bummer. anyway guess u need to make sure that the area u r lying at is free of stuff... if not wait milk will squirt all ovr and kena ur stuff... =)
