hair a lot oso got disadvantage, esp aft every feed regardless milk or water, he always sweat like mad as if he juz finish shower... if the weather is too, even worst...
tink his hair smell nice only aft his shower, once he sweat, tat's it... his dad even complain his son's hair smelly when he's back fr work... hahaha

I also bring my gal to Yu Guo for message when she got high fever and cough and stomach flu the other time. They will give medicine pkt to paste on baby tummy. And also they are good in baby message.
 
sunshine, yalor as long as within 48hrs, you can transfer to the freezer. Haha but even when baby sweat, they dont really smell.

morning mummies...

I suffered the worse engorgement and block duct pain yesterday. My right arm totally cannot move at all, then the lump was so severe till it spread to a whole patch on my right breast
used pump to try pumping it out also difficult, as milk was stuck tightly in there...

The area hard hard also....haiz...i had to ask my hubby to help me massage and press on the area hard, so much till i cried cos it was extremely painful.

Hubby told me he foresee this day to come....and ask me to give up bf-ing..he was shocked when he saw and felt my hardened breast.

i tink the reason is cos i got too much milk in my right breast le....i tried to stretch to a 7-hour pumping interval but suffered like this.
i jus feel like crying lo...haiz..on top of it i couldn't empty my breasts while pumping at work since time was limited.

Since i can't manage to pump out the milk at 10.15pm session (which was the one where i was frantically trying to pump out the stuck milk) i just went to bed cos i was so tired from pumping and that the milk still couldn't come out.
I got woken up by the pain at 3am in the morning, the pain was so intense i couldn't even move my arm or assemble the pump so woke hubby up to do it...

so i tried pumping the milk again, luckily the second time round milk managed to flow out more smoothly. There is still a painful lump on my breast tho the whole patch of area has softened...the area under my nipple felt super hard initially but after the pump it was softened too...

this morning i still felt pain even tho i didn't touch my breast
sobz...

i jus pumped out again at 9.15am...went to the toilet to pump at work cos i needed to pump and throw away the milk....didn't bother to bring my cooler bag....feeling so down...sighz

Sorrie...jus needed to let it out...feel so down...sob sob

7 hr stretch is a bit long for our breasts...i remember going out kai kai for like 6-7 hrs...feel like dying, not 2 e extent of cant even lift up e arms but u jus want to run 2 a place n ease e milk in e breasts...

Take care of e lump...it gives a lot of stress on e breasts...i had an experience b4 on e left side...so scared it becomes permanently hard...kept on compressing n massaging it until it softens...takes one night to get over it...

Jus a suggestion, respond to e letdown cue given by ur breasts...guess if we choose to bf, we hav to be more diligent in expressing or stick to bb's feeding...

Pinksorbet, "sayang sayang". Oh my it must have been extremely painful. How often are you pumping at work now? Think your stretch of 7 hrs is too long suddenly. Maybe you shd try dragging your pump time slowly to let your body adjust. I understand you must be feeling so low morale now, cheer up gal! We are here for you.

i am trying to stop too. trying to stretch the hour but esch time breast always turn hard by the time i express.

ladies,
normally i pump every 5-6 hours, if i wan to stop. how long i need to stretch the hours. and if i dun empty breast, my next pumping session, my breast will turn rock liao. How????

i put in freezer in office. I brought cooler pack to transport to and fro. my office freezer got many things. sometimes i also scared my milk will turn bad.

Prosper, cheer up gal! "hugs" Since you are pumping every 5-6 hours now, then maybe you can try to stretch to 7 hrs for the next pump and see how. Guess you have to do it slowly cos if not you will suffer engorgement. I know it can be hard lor, me too have to try to squeeze in time to pump during work. And when pump still have to worry if people come over to my workstation. haiz I also tot of giving up but feel bad leh.
 
tusky - my breasts usually get engorged by the 6 or 7hour if i manage to empty them during the previous session. I tried really massaging the lump hard until my hubby said my breast is bruised already. Then tears kept flowing down when hubby was massaging...after this incident i'm 100% sure he's not supportive of me bf-ing already. I use hot compress also with the massaging.

sportyger - i'm pumping on a 6-hourly normally, but cos now i'm back to work, i am trying to schedule in such a way i onli need to pump once at work, which means stretching it to 7-hour. And i paisei to pump so long so i will onli take 30mins for the pump session at work. Then by the time the 30th min is up, breasts are still not fully emptied. Somemore i'm using single manual pump.

prosper - after yesterday incident i wanted to stop cos i'm 100% sure hubby don't want me to continue liao. In fact like u i feel like taking medicine to stop it rather than dragging the hours and pump session and end up with this kind of engorgement. But thinking of my supply i don't feel like stopping but why am i tormenting myself this way. Don't know la...feel so sian

pinksorbet, I am also using single pump. Find that it really takes up so much more time and I understand how you feel about feeling paisey to pump so long. Like you I am also trying to stretch timing so that I can pump once at work too. Using the ameda dual pump is so much faster but its so bulky to carry to and fro. Now I just leave my medala pump at work so its much easier.

About bb seeing "Things".. i do believe in that even i am those who are always challenging traditions or superstitions.

I had an Aunt who is a medium in Surabaya,Indonesia so kinda know what's really happening beyond our sight. My own encounters was not so bad cos its my own paternal grandma.

i am also sensitive to such "beings"/ "events" even though i don't see them. I wa told that if our birth time / hr is "yin" we will be..

There are occassions when i was worn out, i just closed my eyes for a min.. i see images of scenes of things happen.. then when i opened my eyes.. it really did... i told my best friend and my ex hubby when it happened .. even my colleagues.. it freaks them out as well.. of course.. whenever it happened .. i was in a state of shock myself.


thus i was told to stay away from graveyards even during "Ching Ming", return home before dark during "hungry ghost festival", avoid going to wakes etc..

My gf's grandma who is also a medium and a fortune teller.. she told my gf that bb had to go home before 7.00pm during hungry ghost month and if no choice had to past that time, must wear a hat or cap.. but always make it a point to reach home before dark.

i was telling hubby that i prepare to order dinner delivery after my parents moved out, especially during that month.

sportyger - yalor i'm oso lazy to bring my ameda pump to work, so bulky....wat to do...actually manual can do the job of emptying breasts quite well too, its jus that i don't have the time and luxury to do that during office hours....

ouch, that's sounded very painful. I hope you are feeling better now, if not, I would suggest you call mdm rokiah asap. I guess you should not drag your pumping interval so long since your supply is good. I've learnt my lesson.
Try to use warm compress to massage the lump area. What I do is to fill the milk bottle with warm water and press hard on the lump.. it will soften it and then I will massage the breasts and squeeze out the milk.

Let's say you are going out for 6-7 hours straight and bb din latch on or you din bring pump out, what you can do is to go to the toilet and hand express out to relief a bit.

Prosper, what cooler bag you are using? I'm beginning to find my fridge-to-go very bulky and heavy...
 
pinksorbet, I already find single electric pump slow dont think I can do it with a manual pump. I am now telling myself to just look at one day at a time with bf. Dont want to think how long I can bf, just do my best to pump at work if possible.

mummies, i dun think my supply will drop since i am intending to stop. cause each time i pump my suppy still so much. How? If i stretch the session, it will stretch up to middle of nite. last nite wake up to pump at 2am, then 9am. 7hrs stretch in total.
 
Sorbet n prosper, even if I take medicine, u still have to go through the engorgement process, the medicine is not miracle, take liao then no milk immediately.

Prosper, u can drag to 7hrs as suggested. Alternatively u can still pump at your own timing, 5 to 6hrly but don't empty. Pump minimally. Maybe just to relieve the engorgement. Leave as much milk inside as possible. Feel terrible but it will be better in 2 to 3 days. My milk ss has stopped in daytime liao. Haha only night time. So u can do it.

ya, the weather over at my side also very erratic... last week was quite warm, and suddenly this week it turns cold with occasional rain... bring long sleeve rompers, long pants, socks/stockings, pullover/cardigans for A. i don't dare to put on short sleeve for Oli this week cos his hands are always cold. my MIL insist that i have to put a pullover for him over his long sleeve romper.
i was so happy that LV just opened a new store at Deauville on 31 May. so although we won't be going to Paris, we will still be making a trip to Deauville next week

i couldn't find the sac de joet... probably can only find in Paris... just like Chan Pie Gnon, i cannot find them in any of the baby stores in our town, not even in Toys R Us!
