about drooling, she seldom drools but heard that bb will drool more when their teeth is growing..

yup, like what sunshinebaby mentioned, very hard to burp bb when he doze off. then for me, I will plc him at the rocker then went to wash the bottle. then came bck, talk to him and tell him he need burping and try to trickish his bck and there's goes the burping..... my boy needed lot of burping thru out his milk feed (stop and continue again) if not he will merlion.

my bb's vomit is not smelly. mine vomit like merlion once n it was scary. the bm juz flow out n fly quite far away.

drooling is normal, can drool frm 2mths till their teeth start coming out, if drool a lot, gonna wear bibs to prevent the clothes from gettin wet.</font>

Burping
Think Keenan burps really fast after i tried letting him lean upright...way faster than the sitting upright method i tried last time...thanks to Alfafa for showing me how at our last gathering

princesskris - mine is on FM.. but usually is nt smelly.. dunno why this time round so smelly... luckily kena HB's side of the bed.. WAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!! this morning my side kena her pee... -_-" haii.. our bed kena pee. poo. vomit.

yeah, possible to teeth at 2mth. that's exception case. got one forum mummy whose son had 2 teeth when he is 2mth and by 10mth got 10 teeth. more unique one is bb born with 1 teeth. comical right....

cos my bb(preterm) digestion system not gd. but now coming to 4mth (correct age is coming to 2mth) improve liao but still need to burp in betw feeds. anyway, if we dun burp, he will scream if he felt uncomfortable. so will carry him upright and there's goes burping....sometimes, burp with merlion....
 
missycandy, i can see the white lining on my gal's gums when she opened her mouth too, but i guess that should be fine as long as she is not drooling yet.

Btw, if you worried abt kirsten's vomitting on your bed, place a cloth nappy as pillow for her to sleep. that's what i did when kayla sleeps with me. sometimes she latched on and sucked too fast, thus the milk choked her then will see her merlion the milk onto my breasts. Really poor thing, before i can clean the mess, she quickly leaned her head forward to my nipple and continue to suck as though nothing happened. Luckily got the cloth nappy to "hop" the vomit, if not my maid got to change the bedsheets everyday....

It's hard to find those half cup, with detachable stripes n without underwire.

hee finally had my first real outing w bb n hb yest, so happy. b4 dis, only went to pd w bb. we went courts n ikeas, i like ikea nursing rm, realise got electric plug, can pump too. oso tried nursing in the car but dun dare yet to do it other places. sad thing is i come bk after 8 hrs, right breast got blocked ducts, still trying to clear n pump now. hard to avoid blocked ducts outside, coz nursing usually only one side. wonder if will hv more blocks when go bk to work. bb latch on so vigorously yest outside, now both nipples so painful too, haiz...

My nose giving me some problem so abit difficult to sleep, no choice wake up and surf net lor. Be careful not to let baby pull the bib or cover his nose when he using it.
 
oh oh, is it congested? hope you feel better soon.

i'll be careful, guess must watch out for him. currently putting a small hanky below his chin but he always pull away. worried if continously his clothes front is wet, he'll be cold. keep changing clothes like siao haha.

hee i keep you company lor, going to use hot stone massage for my block, wun sleep for another hr i guess..

Not sure is it call Congested or not, i got running nose and when laid down my nose will be block and its like going back into my throat like that. Some more abit of soar throat. Wait for my nose to be abit better than go back and sleep, but confirm i will be waiting for my son next feed at around 5,30am than will go back to lala land. Don't want to wake up after going back to sleep for 30mins only.
 
hmmn if persist better go see doc, else very diff to sleep at night, will disrupt your rest.

haha yeah if wake up after only sl a while, will feel very cranky :p
 
Good morning Sung &amp; Komew (if u're still here), my little rascal didn't inf his ebm again...now pumping for relief...hubby offered to do this feed, but his actions a bit slow, instead of dreamsfeed, my little fella is now awake, smiling and kicking around...ay....

Same thing when my hubby takes over to feed ebm. As it is, my girl tends to wake up bright-eyed bushy tail at the wrong time of the day and her daddy's slow reaction just contribute to her awakeness. Woke up to her loud cries at 4+am and realised her daddy was giving her pacifier instead of making milk for her!! Aiyo....

Irene, I'm looking at the MIM black nursing bra with detachable strap and removable underwire. So long already, u not yet receive the tube bra? I thot of dropping by MIM to try on to see first since it's very near my place. dunno they have the bras for trying or not or just online purchase only.

MIM do have bras for trying in their showroom. As for the detachable strap one which you are referring to, I have that but don't think the bra can be used when the straps are detached cos of the shape of the bra. I think the part about it being detachable is so you can change to whatever straps you want... translucent type, other colours, etc.

Nursing bras
Actually when I am out of the house, I don't like nursing bras with clips. Cos to be fast, I prefer to adjust my top (I wear nursing tops out) and just push aside my bra (push the bra under the breast. This pushing under is possible with soft cotton-spandex type of bras like the MIM tube bras and Mothers en Vogue's demi cup knitted bra. http://www.mothersenvogue.com/onlinecoll.php?link=others&amp;cat_id=113&amp;product=1&amp;product_id=884

The demi cup knitted bra is really very very comfortable. If you want to have more "shape", just buy the bra cups to go with it.

Oh, the MIM tube bra is like a tube which you just wear over your head. I managed to get a similar one but with hooks at the back instead from Mums n Babes in AMK hub sometime back. I am not sure if they still carry it. But I have to say it is a bit difficult to wear cos there are four hooks to hook!
 
Oh, just to add that the demi cup bra is lower than the tube bra, so for lower necklines, you will not see the bra peeking out. ;)

Pups, tat demi cup bra dun have detachable straps rite? I'M looking at one with dedtachable so that when i wear tube dress or spag strap tops, dun need to wear the bra strap

actually i have not worn my nursing bras out because they come w straps which are not compatible with my tube tops/dresses. i only wear tube bras out n none of them are nursing bras per se, more like nursing friendly bras.

ohhh the demi cup bra (v comfy) that pups is talking about can be found via one of the bps. much cheaper than buying from the mothersenvogue website! i bought it at less than $20 bucks then w 10% discount on top of that. ready stocks too so v fast service. but i rem feeling a bit cheated because i found someone selling even cheaper at her blog. wait wait i go look for it. cheapest is still the metro expo sale though

After met you last nite and got home, saw my hubby face black black, baby crying... hubby said after I left home for ~half hour, baby was crying non-stop, feed milk also no use. After I carry baby, pat... pat... her to Zzz, she sleep liao... HaHa... man got no patience to pacify baby...

pls don't ever buy 0409 tube bras cos they are really lousy. another blog sells them for $5 only. damn that one is what i'm trying to find but i seem to have lost it.
