<font color="ff0000">re. bb poo</font>
it's normal either to poo several times a day (up to 8 times for bf bb) or once every few days as long as bb is happy, alert n resting well. hee pluck the info fm my pd n bbcenter, read below:

<font color="aa00aa">How many times a day does a breastfed baby normally poop?

"After six weeks, it's normal for some babies to have fewer bowel movements, though others may continue having frequent ones. Don't be alarmed if your baby has a bowel movement only once a week. He's not constipated unless his stools are hard and dry. If your baby's producing loose, unformed stools with a pea soup consistency and cottage cheese-like curds, he's getting a good balance of foremilk and hindmilk. Don't be concerned if his diaper overflows!"

Is it normal for my baby to poop after every feeding?

"Yes. "Some babies will poop after every feeding and some every three days. It's all normal," says pediatrician Tanya Remer Altmann, editor of The Wonder Years: Helping Your Baby and Young Child Successfully Negotiate the Major Developmental Milestones.

Pooping after every feeding is especially common in breastfeeding newborns, says Altmann. If a breastfed baby has a bowel movement after nearly every feeding during the first few weeks, it's actually a good sign — it means he's getting plenty of milk.

Bowel movements can slow down between 3 and 6 weeks, but Altmann says some babies will continue with their poop-after-every-feeding pattern. "Some 1-year-olds still poop five times a day," she says.

Formula-fed babies often have bowel movements less frequently than breastfed ones. But it's normal for them to poop after every feeding as well.

Generally, if your baby's bowel movements are fairly consistent and he's acting like his usual self, frequent poops aren't a cause for concern. However, if there's a sudden change in your baby's pooping pattern and his stool becomes more watery, check with his doctor. This could be a sign of infection."</font>

happy.gif

Mummies with the Pikkolo carrier, possible to post a pic of the waist buckle? I bought 1 &amp; seems like the belt keep shifting when there's weight.

vernice80,
i normally bring thermal flask x 1, milk bottle with EBM in it x 1, mug with cover x 1. No choice, everytime go out machiam like camping style, need to pack milk and diapers and most of the time, i pack more than required eg. diapers and her toys.

Kome,
can i get the pills from you?

Prosper,
why stop breastfeeding? i sometimes went out and missed my pumping session, eg. 4-5 hours. but if need to go out longer hours, then no choice, bring a pump along.

Starflower,
your poem makes me ponder if my gal knows what i m doing for her, nevertheless, i will always love her..

missycandy,
leave me out for the buffet as i will be reaching later. btw, can i bring my maid along? since no available parking lot, so i guess i should be taking a cab, so she can help me to carry my stuffs and need be, my bb when she is cranky..

Sassybaby
The shop (on the 2nd floor) is along the stretch of shops diagonally opposite the McDonalds stretch..hmm...dunno if u know wat i mean...

one mom mentioned that it's best to avoid cabbage, cauliflower, nuts and BEANS as they cause wind in BM and thus bb. Does that mean you can't take food such as soy drinks, tofu, red bean desserts??

Hi Mummies here,

Just wanted to ask mummies here who are on TBF - do you still pump after every latch and those times when baby is not feeding but breasts are full? My problem is I used to pump about 5 times a day but now reduced to only 3 times a day and get about 150 to 200ml each time. I dunno if this means MS will reduce over time but I still direct latch the baby about every 2 hours interval during the day till about 11pm at night for 15 to 20 minutes each time. Appreciate any advise cos wish to continue to TBF baby and dun want MS to decrease. BTW for a 6 weeks old baby, is a weight gain of 1.8kg ok?

hoho,
this the only style i've tried so far cos her neck still not strong enough. anyone has tried the other styles whereby bb's leg is outside?? i saw the picture but yet to figure out heehee.

seabreeze,
paiseh... did you see my earlier post about not being able to make it this fri? i PM you ok.

yy.. i still pump out after latch.. n yes pump when i dun latch// so far ss is ok.. have abt 30 bottles milk in freezer.. i dun worry so much as compared to last year wen i diodnt latch n was on tatly ebm...

Nursing cover
Hmm..just check with the seller &amp; the coverage is oni at the front. The back is not covered....it's a pity bcos the design is really pretty.... =(

Hi Idaarshad,

Thanks for sharing! Would you mind to tell me how much do you get per pumping session and how many times do you pump a day? Am so afraid of MS reducing that U have even bought Fenugreek and nursing mum's tea etc to eat/drink but have not tried them yet. Hoping to TBF baby at least for 6 months but now only at 6 weeks I have lost the determination to pump so many times a day especially in the middle of the night : P

<font color="ff0000">Prosper</font>

<font color="ff0000">RE: Tender after ML</font>
I read from somewhere if after 16wks ML, we have to serve 1 more month in the company before we resign. If we resign, the notice period got to depends on your employment letter. So the 1 mth is an add-on to your notice period. I intend to resign too but is waiting for the bonus year end and hoping economy gets better then.

I think if can still tahan, stay with the job first cos difficult to get a job now. Market is bad. Just my opinion =)

<font color="ff0000">RE: Milk Supply</font>
My milk supply is very low also. I am going to “resign” being a moo moo mummy already. Had reduced my pumping to twice a day now. Any mummy interested to get BLUE EGG MILK BAG ? I have 2 packs to sell. 25pcs per pack bought at $7.50, Selling at $7 include normal postage. But 1 pack, the carton is slight damaged during posting. Mummy that is intersested, PM me. First come First serve okie? =)

Dunno why, I dun feel so guilty now to stop BF (bad mummy..hehe) cos I managed to bf my #2 for at least 7 wks. Previously for my #1, I only bf for 5 days. She is a FM baby.. very tall and big size compared to toddlers at her age. I used to be very guilty of not being able to BF #1. So this time round, more relax cos I hit my target of BF for at least 1mth. Hehe.

<font color="ff0000">Boost Milk Supply</font>
Those who want to boost supply, eat fish, oats and bananas. Drink lots of soup and liquid.

<font color="ff0000">Reduce Milk Supply</font>
Slowly decrease pump session and time, Drink Yang Sheng Xu or Pao Sheng water.

<font color="ff0000">Koala</font>
I tried Huggies Ultra, cutting is smaller than Drypers. It is in between Dryper Size S and M. Cos Size S is too small for my gal and Size M is too big. For Huggies Ultra is just right for her (although I had finished it) I have gotten Huggies Dry from hampers, find that Ultra is more absorbent than Dry.
