Seems like quite a number of mummies having it...is it cos of carrying yr little ones too much? I have more of the shoulder pains tho and thought mayb its cos of carrying my boy or either that my breasts engorgement pain spread over to my shoulders...dunno whether there is any logic in this...

I thought of buying a sling to nurse on the go but realli not courage to do it...realli salute to those mummies like alfafa who is manage to do it with confidence and ease...i guess in future i will probably bring EBM out and buy those on the go warmer :p

Yes i'm so happy now kyan is able to do so these days...even not through the night but at least onli wake up for milk once/twice and then sleep again...wonder if its due to growth spurt which explains his crankiness over the past few nights last week...but he is still cranky during the day la....mus treat him like a king lo...hehe...notti boy...

Anyone using manual pump? i thought of getting one to bring to my workplace and outside instead of my Ameda Lactaline...motor is pretty heavy so wanted to buy a manual pump for travel and pumping outside...which is better? Avent Isis or Medela Harmony? Any other recommendations?

Alfafa - having read yr post about looking at babies things, yes i feel the same way too...a fren commented to me yesterday that i look motherly...wonder if i should be happy or sad...haiz...nowadays i don't even feel like looking clothes and stuffs for myself...all i wan to do is to go to Mums&Babes, Mothercare, etc all those maternity shops...its so unlike me...i used to love shopping for clothes, accessories and look pretty pretty but these days all i wan to do is to go to those babies' shops...i wonder if that is good or bad...sighz...

Yes i broke up my ML--take leave until the last day of term2 (ie. May29) then I didn take june hols. So continue till July. The maternity leave form states first 8 weeks MUST take at a stretch, the rest of the 8 weeks can break up.

I stay in Sengkang, i teach in a sch in Hougang.


re: Babies sleeping through the night
After i gave my bb her last milk feed around 9-10pm plus, she used to wake up at 3am and then 6am plus for milk. Then i started to give her plain water at the 3am milk feeds instead. 2 days in a row, and after that, she didn wake up anymore for 3ams feeds. She only wakes up at about 5-6 plus now. Which is great for me coz next time when go bk to work, it would be about tt time when i wake up to get ready for wk.

A friend told me we could start doing tt once our bb has doubled her birth weight.
Hope my bb not pantang, say already wait she revert bk to night feeds!!!! :p haha
 
Pikkolo carrier.. how much you all bought it?
I told my hubby I want to buy a carrier.. then he commented, "are you sure you will use it?"
"last child le leh, wanna buy such expensive carrier meh?"

frankly eversince i have the BECO carrier...with ugin in it..it's a breeze..he sleeps in it..and it's cooling compare to the bb bjourn although he managed to sleep in it though,,but you can feel his body is hot....so the next piikolo...will give him when he can face the front when he grows alittle older..hahaa..well i have told some mummies..it's to match my clothes and joe can use it too...piikolo...."*excuses*

you are letting your baby use babybjorn liao? how old is ur bb now?

Bree is in week 6 and her neck not really stable yet although she cah lift up her next unassisted.
i am hesitating in the sense of waiting for the her neck to be stronger before using the carrier.

That's why now i am very disabled for not being to go anywhere without her stroller.

I am waiting for a good day to go out alone from my place to Jurong Point alone to try out. Its been raining cats and dogs these days.

Lenny, Trishelle is about 10 to 11wk Now... I put her inwards she doesn't really like it. Prefers looking outside Haha!

Clio, I see, your school good la, allow u to break up 8 and flexibility the rest. Mine says must take 16wks in a row, so sigh. I stay jurong, moving to tanjong pagar end yr, teach bedok, really buay tahan, so I asked for a transfer, to a school in bukit timah, hope I will be able to fit in quickly. Now my mil say wanna send #1 to cc liao Haha she realise she also cannot handle both. So thinking of sending him to Eton outram since near my place in future but now she say send so far later very poor thing, Aiya! Very Sian. Haha.

For me, no prob to unbuckle and buckle in the cab.. Im using Combi carrier.. quite easy for me. But now very tempted to buy a pikkolo coz the prints r real gorgeous

Daphne, do note that for pikkolo (forward front facing), it is recommended in their webpage that its suitable only for bb up to 8kg. Beyond that, maybe too stressful on your back.

Hmm I also just realise pikkolo can use both ways, facing inwards and outwards whereas Beco only face inwards. So I really need to try out both before decding which one to buy, need to make a trip down to thomson plaza to try on Pikkolo and friday to see Beco demo, cos both are equally pretty and multifunction

I saw tt u say you are putting Trishelle in baby bjorn facing outwards liao? Her head can support itself already? Coz if you put her facing outwards, you must flip the neck part down right?
My bb rae hates it when i put her in baby bjorn. I really regretted it wheni took her out from SK to Harbourfront. She cried and cried in the baby bjorn all the way until i bo bian have to take her out and carry her. What a waste! Its so different from her sister who took to the carrier from day1. I was wondering if putting her facing out might make a difference but her neck like still floppy leh.

regarding school-- Wow, you really 'huan dao zhui zhui zhui" travel so far to work! Hope yr new school mgt will be good
