i remember sunshinebaby and kome is sat. hee hee guess we are all excitedly waiting to see bb again
st - yup, sunshine's rite, both cos having promo dis wkend. stemcord said they hv free gift + $200 off at united sq fair while cordlife is $350 promo off at suntec talk. wish a boy is collating interest for cordlife for some special discount if we sign up as a group too hee.

Sung : the one I get is more than Sat talk . Now I need confirmation from mummies who are interested in Cordlife to PM me your name , contact and delivering hospital so I can nego again with them once the no. is firm .
pups : my second bb wt surprise me as my weight gain is only 10kg and less than what I gain for my first one which is abt 18kg .. hee hee .. this round hope I gain 10 - 12kg and bb will be over 3kg .. I think bb wt around 2.8 - 3.5kg all ok ..

I also same as u, abt wk 21 and gained 7kg liao. Also abt your height. Like u, I don't snack alot, only eating bread / biscuits in between meals mostly. I've been even waking up middle of nite to eat cos hungry and can't sleep. If don't snack, will get bad gastric. So no choice lor

Hi Mtbs,
I went for my detailed scan yesterday and all was well.
BB very cooperative and the scan is completed in 10-15 mins.
Confirmed a baby boy and he weight 353g at 20weeks.
Gynae say he is quite tall as his femur length is long.
I also went for the hospital tour yesterday. Saw the suite and 1 bedded also the 2 bedded at TMC.
Quite interested in getting the 1 bedded if financially allow.
At least the baby is allowed to stay with me overnight, which for 2 bedded, the baby will have to stay at the nursery room at night.
I’m also having a bad cough these few days. Hope I will recover soon.

Good ah? Noooo, I rather be back to my pre-preg size naturally, without having to spend $$. But, don't think that will happen so soon as we'll also be wanting #2 soon after #1.

I think I'll be like you for your 1st one, 18 kg. I can't see myself eating much less for the next 3 months as Xmas and CNY is just round the corner. I eat as much as my hubby now and have lack of control over what I eat. Haha. Love food!

for cordlife, they are charging enrolment fee of $600 and processing fee of $800 upon signing up. subsequently will be $250 a year for the storage. i think the discount will be on the enrolment fee.
i have all these details cos one of my friend's ex-colleague is working for cordlife now and she referred me to one of their client relations executive.

everyone's baby seem to be within the normal range le.. but it seem like mine seem a bit big for my size i guess.. check on the chart, mine like out of range le.. near to the 21 to 22 week's mass le.. mine weigh 414g at 20w6d.. but doc din say anything.. so i suppose still ok la..

Kome: just didn't see it whenever we go for check!! even my gynae is surprise... hahah... even ask for the scan to see for herself...
anyway i think DS then they tell u the weight...
heehee my boy is fine but head slightly smaller.. haha so my gynae say easier to push out ... aiyo... i'm happy as long as baby healthy la... but i'm not putting much weight... not really eating much...

It is true that as baby gets bigger, the printout cannot accomodate the whole baby. I still remember I used to get printouts of just the head, arm, femur or abdomen. Then we will be staring that the printout trying to figure out what we are looking at! But at least for the printout my gynae provides, there is the weight, the abdominal circumference and the femur length on it. I think the last two parameters are for estimating baby's weight and EDD (this changes with measurements but don't have to follow lah. Just a gudge of the range of baby's weight, I suppose.)

my cousin is about 43-45kg before pregnant - I was also 45 kg...but now she's 17 weeks pregnant, gain 5 kg and bb 400g.
while me...my last scan was week 20, bb 322g, me gain 5 kg also..
so scared my aunties will compare..coz next 2 weeks got family gathering

miss83 : Just tell them baby ok .. no need to tell them wt lah .. different bb grow differently .. how to compare .. wt also based on estimation only and maybe bb curl up a bit when your gynea measure your bb so wt lesser .. so don't bother , tell them baby normal will do ..
