hi everyone...wasn't in action for very long as i was waiting for my amnio test results.

Luckily the results came in ytday and the bb is normal. Phew..and it is a prince. Was shocked to hear that as hb and I were thinking of a princess all along but most impt is that we know the bb is healthy now! So happy..so now can be more active in the forum

I am using clarins stretchmark cream... not bad and smell nice too..

vernicce:: congrats, ahaha i am using elancyl as recommended by some mummies here.

my EDD for #1 is earlier by 2 wks as it was quite urgent... he was not moving around much during checks and gynae decided it was best to csect. So we did schedule for an op 2 days after the checkup and it turned out that the cord was around his neck so heng we didn't wait any longer.

Last nite I even dreamed seeing my bb...he's so cute!! this is the 2nd time i dreamed my bb
I read in book that our bb can dream about us too..as he is also curious of us..

does anyone know when taka christmas sale starting?
I plan to buy a few decoration items for christmas..wondering if Ikea has started to sell...I've been wanting to go to ikea to look for christmas items and also buy some bb stuffs like bb bath tub, soft toys, bibs and things for bb room decoration too...

vernice, my clarins one is huile "tonic"... its an oil base treatment...i got it at katong shopping centre at only $56 after disc...wholesale price...isetan selling at $80...and airport unless staff price, then it cost $50...

i purchased at clarins counter in robinson for $80... but heard cheaper in airport or sasa...
or u can wait for sales...
other than the cream, i oso purchased the clarin huile tonic oil which i apply at night and cream in the morning...
 
Vernice, I am using the Clarins Tonic oil also. So far so good for me, smell nice also. Me too bought from Robinson counter, no discount, and bought another bottle at airport duty free around $50+.

Sun, no not yet... 1st bottle only use 1/3 only.. the sale person at the airport says can continue to apply after give birth.. So I bought extra bottle since is cheaper..

I just felt bb movement starting this week only..
got to pray first before..asking God to let me feel bb kicks hehe..coz last wk was feeling down..mood swing..just hoping so much bb can entertain me..and since monday, bb kicking and true..it makes me happy all day

everytime he kicks, it makes me realize that this bb really exist and alive..so it motivates me to talk to him more often..sing,play music and read story to him..

i am oso using the elancyl stretchmark ... v light and nice smelling. mummies pls rem to apply the bottom of the tummy cos when i had #1 i only rem the top portion and forgot the bottom of the tummy and stretch mark appeared there *sob sob* esp impt in the 3rd tri

re: bb movement

when i had my #1 i only feel kick only ... never see his hands and leg poke out ... maybe too much FAT liao hahaha

so far same for #2 but felt his movement v early ... think around 15weeks i could feel something liao ... every night will feel him move or kick

my #1 will sing him song every night hahaha q sweet lar

v happy today cos finally found a child care for my #1 ... seem like they have v high expectation for children going to N2 ... only thing is that the teacher to children ratio is q high 1: 15 but cos its so near my house and the fee is v affordable ... i will just let him try out first lar ... too tired to search some more

cream based easy to apply during the day when u getting ready for work... as for the oil based, u need to apply to damp skin aft bath so tat easier to massage in n let it be absord by the skin, tis might takes a while ba... but if u tink u r ok w it then shouldn't be any prob applying in the morning or night ba...
as of how many bottles needed, hv to depend on individual... for me the bottle still fill even tot i've been using for a mth plus

Hi, I also just got my Amnio test report!

It was a stressful 2-weeks wait for both myself and hubby and as well as my mum. Finally yesterday gynae called me and inform result normal and is Princess.

Actually the day after Amnio, I got fever! Was so scared! Lucky after taken Panadol fever subsided. Fever was actually due to flu virus infection which I think got it the day before in the office.

I'm now in week-21. Can feel BB kicking since ~week18. This Sat going for FA detail scan.

Does anybody give BB a nickname before know gender? We have been calling our BB momo since before pregnant

I had been calling my son as boyboy after i know the gender. My #1 already called BB so #2 had to call boyboy.

congrats idlecat!!! Isn't that a relief?! HB and I actually kept the test from family members. And I only tell some of my buddies..need some support mah..

Since i got my result ytday, my hb is calling the bb "ninja" haha..

i am in wk 19 now..as i am travelling for the next 3 weeks so i asked my doc when i need to do the DS but she say not so soon wor..why ah?

vernice, the retail price is $80 bucks. however, if u can get from airport, think only $67..

sun, i apply a bit.. as long can cover my tum tum can liao.. i use it day and night.

Re:Christmas
Talking abt christmas gets me real excited. in fact, i am looking forward to December.. cos deoember there is one holiday beginning , then will celebrate christmas, follow by New year and then chinese new year, and ya, not forgetting valentines' day.. and very soon, we all will be due by then!!! a whole chain of festival.. so nicey..

Bb's room
has anyone here decorated bb's room? my bb's room is so messy now cos i park a lot of 2nd hand stuff including stroller, playpen in the room.. really hope to decorate nicely and welcome my first bb..

Yes, definitely a big relief. I had been crying for a few times after saw my Triple test result. So scared and worry as have miscarriages before and now I'm already so old liao...

Actually, last Sun I've bought a baby cot at Robinson@centrepoint. UP$399, sales at $299. With my hubby 25% discount vouncher for $200 purchase, only paid @$249 for the cot which come with 4" foam mattress. Furthermore, with Robinson card got further 5% discount

did my detail scan and went to see doc after that...did another scan at gynae place (requested by me)

but i forget to ask gynae if it is safe to do scanning again since i did it just an hour ago..

does anyone know if it is ok?

I don't think there will be any problem to do the scan again. What gynae use should be safe for us. If not, gynae won't allow you to do again also.

dont worry...u havent felt it doesnt mean bb doesnt move..
maybe because u're busy, working or doing other activities? I dont have so much to do since Im not working..i take naps everyday..that's when mostly I feel bb kicking...during night I seldom feel it also..maybe bcoz I'm sleepy too
