i realised i'm blur already...

areya - my boi can start his bedtime routine as early from 9<font color="ff0000">p</font>m+ till the next day at 5am+ where he wakes up for his milk....yesterday he slept at 11<font color="ff0000">p</font>m+ and woke up at 8am+ this morning...somehow i want him to sleep later like 10<font color="ff0000">p</font>m+ so he can wake up at least 6am+ the next day (do not need to have night feeds)...but then i oso suffer lor...next day end up with blocked ducts cos i slept the whole night thru without latching him on..
 


Re:baby flipping

toking abt it, I was shocked by Kayle flipping in yaolan yesterday. Her whole body flipped with her head facing downward. Luckily yaolan got hole for her to breathe. I quickly turn her over but next few mins, she turned again. Very very funy.

She only can flip half and stuck there on the bed. Think bed is not as easy to flip compare to yailan.

Missycandy, we will be really happy if seeing our little doing something new.. isnt it...
 
sassy place, i am going. Hopefully can let kayle dips in the pool before i go to work. Hubby insisted not to let her swim too early. But i want to do it without him knowing

and your boy good la. can last. Me also have the same thinking as you, zzz later, up later too.

Trishelle only can arch her neck very back and try to flip but still cannot. haha i got to help her! btw, i have tried #3 teats on her and she took it very well. So u can try too!'

Asura, areya:: i also tried to put her to zzz early like 7pm but i realise wkends really cannot keep up. So have switched to the 9 - 10pm zzz instead.

I think it also depends on the baby too. My #1 will automatically get zzz ard 9 - 10pm too and will toss and turn on the bed till he knocks out. It is that time that i will put #2 to zzz too.

aiya mommies, i very sian, Trishelle is a smart girl man, have tried to give her FM feeds in day and night latch, and yesterday, 6am to 6pm, she only DRANK 2 feeds of FM at 80mL. force her to drink more, CRY like mad. then when comes 7pm, i latch her on, drink like siao. And she drank, 7pm, 10pm, 12am, 2am, 430am and 7am. GOODNESS! she sure knows how to drink minimal in day time and get the rest of the milk via latch at night. She could actually zzz through previously de. Sighssss! MIL then actually suggested, STOP BF AND GIVE FM ALL THE WAY LOH! wa lao!
 
Cindy, my gal also, at night after 7pm will be very hungry also!
like after 6pm feed her 100ml frm bottle,then 7pm onwards cry for milk again, so I will latch her might as well, let her drink as much as she wants..and laching time will take one hr plus till 8 plus...

Mummies! Does your little ones breathe or pant when they play? I can hear my gal's breathe when she is very active when she is nt sleeping, play, cry, yakking sometimes she breathe quite fast and can hear...dunno normal or nt?
But when she sleep, very soundly and peacefully..
 
teddybaby - my bb also loves her fist alot, give her pacifier , but she is not addicted to it. only use it as a source of comfort to sleep, after awhile she will 'pui' out herself...

mummies out there, how heavy are your bb at 3 months? my gal is 7kg...ultra overweight right??
 
Ann, oh I bought frm kiddy palace at 48 bucks cos gt 20% dist...ya I freeze the ice panels but dunno shld I bring the mini fridge to office still

mangogal, think your little one is doing cluster feeding. Haha.... It helps them store food to last longer at night. And heh no ley I cannot hear panting, maybe its too noisy at my home with #1 playing. .

Prosper, yes she is holding it. She will bring to her mouth n bite the ears.

I only suspect that she might be teething early cos a lot of saliva these days plus feels something hard when latch. Not sure whether really teething or not. I hope not. She is enjoying looking at us eat nowadays.

I think ur gal might be cluster feed. DO monitor. Sometimes i think we need to keep a diary of our bb's feeding pattern so that we have a better idea. I remember in SG, my gal would demand feed at 7 regardless of what time she had her previous feed. After that she would sleep her 5 to 5.5 hrs interval.

I think you girl looks so adorable holding on to the rattle toy.

I made one myself, just like what your friend did. heeee. MissCandy I have the patterns in case you need it. For the filling, don't buy from spotlight. If you are just making one you can buy the $2 dollar bag of filling from daiso, in fact you can easily make 3 to 4 dolls from it. I made two and still have left overs.

I call this Julie the Lamb. I made a slightly diffferent with big ears called Billy the Goat. damn corny. She prefers Julie. Always smiles when I put Julie in front of her.

Wah.. so fast arh... mine was born on 8 Mar, which is abt 4 weeks later.. so means might really be teething soon.. Heh... hope she is not too uncomfortable when teething. I heard that if we brush their gums everyday since born, would make it more comfortable for them when they are teething and hence, less fussy for us. I have been brushing my bb's gums since week 7, hope it works!

Mine is slightly below 6 kg and is wk 12.5 now. My gal on the petite side, everyone says she is very tiny like a doll. So depends on how heavy ur bb is at birth. Doesnt matter the weight as long as height wise is also growing proportionately.

wow 2mths and a few days and he is already 7kg?! That's a big boy. Hahaha must be like a little michelin man. Very cute.

Vernice: it's the Fisher price little people series fair. But they sell other stuff too like Rainforest Jumperoo at $229. Btw, I just started putting my girl in the jumperoo. She's still not good at playing yet but can see taht she is trying to jump a bit. Good workout for her legs.

I bought the balloon gym on ebay. 2nd hand $10 only plus that lady delivered, But I also saw listing from a HK company which is selling these balloon gyms brand new, incl delivery to Singapore. QUite cheap. let me search and paste the link here

my girl occasionally breathes really loud when latched on as well. Usually I notice that's because her nose is partially blocked .. esp when I nurse her at night and am too tired to hold her properly. heeeee

mine girl same size as yours then. Petite also. She's already 3 mths and 10 days thereabouts and is less than 6kg. heh lightweight like mommy but tall like daddy.

Thanks. How big is ur bb now? I bought a jumperoo here... instructions say suitable to use from 4 mths old so i never open to let bb play. Cant wait to let her try it.. hee hee...

aiii gtg again. I stupid lor. Knowing full well that my bb is sensitive to cow's milk still went on a rampage on Sunday. Hubby bought lots from Ritz Apple Strudel house so I wolfed down 12 chocolate cream puffs, a big chunk of the apple strudel (cream again) and box of 4 durian cream balls ... all over 2 days. Now my girl kanna blood streaks in her poo again and has been super cranky.

Stupid mommy leh. Only focused on not drinking cow's milk. Forgot about cream. Wah lao

My gal is really same as urs. Started drooling before 2 mths old, even my mom told me to be prepared that she might teeth early. Recently, she has been drooling a lot more.. heh. I dont really wish for her to teeth so soon, another extra chore to do! ok ok.. i shall go sleep now and continue posting tomorrow..

actually the best part is she is stuck there cos she canot climb out yet. haaaaahaaaa so when i really need to get something done i put her there, plus prop her up with a small pillow (cos her neck n back not that strong yet). i know that she can't hurt herself in the balloon.

asura, moomooland, yah she likes the RF jumperoo. in fact, my friend's girl who is now 6 mth plus, went ballastic and jumped like mad when she tried it at my place for the first time. according to my friends, she started "jumping" alot on their laps alot eversince.

yah she is still young to know how to fully appreciate the jumperoo parts. saw in the manual that as long as they can touch the ground when tip toe you can safely put them in liao. i alspo thought she couldn't until few nites ago my hubby put her in out of desperation. she started jumping a bit. and she is fixated w the colour parrot toy hanging above her seat

no problem. email me so i have your addy. need to attach file. you will be surprised by what you can do; i also never thought i could sew. heehee

fabric wise, i use unwanted clothes plus sacrificed a good condition towel. trick is to use as mANY diff textured material as possible to stimulate their sense of toucvh. i used terry cloth, 100% cotton, felt and denim on julie. in hindsight i should have included a rattle in the body, or stitch a baby safe mirror on the belly. or sew strips of multi coloured ribbons on the hhead ala lamaze toys

can hold one. my toy is v similar and grace can hold on to it. notice that the toy has long skinny limbs and small neck? good for bb to hold on

not strong enuff that's why a bit mafan now, must prop her up properly w a pillow. i even did flashcards w her "seated" in the balloon
