(2009/02) February 2009 MTBs

hello all,
Whitegalz, yeah kylene is good, can sleep 9hours! My bb at most so far is 8hours if not usually 6-7hours.

Finally went for "real" shopping yesterday. walked for 4-5hours! But my joints at my pelvic area aches, hmm maybe cos of labour/delivery...? Hope it's just cos i havent been walking so much for a long time.

it's 2.5 weeks to our mega gathering. Would like to make plans to confirm our lunch options. LemonT's Western Chow seems like a good idea since its per person portion and its neater (and sounds yummy too). LemonT, how does it work? Do we choose from a menu and let you know what we want? Is it possible to post here the "menu" and pricing so that everyone can decide? Or anyone up for buffet catering? Hi mommies, I am from the Aug MTB thread.

From your experience, can your baby still be able wear 0-3 mths/newborn clothes when he/she is 1 mths old?
I am wondering if I should purchase 3-6 mths clothing for my baby for his 1st month celebration but a bit worried if it will be too big and loose for him.

Any advices will be appreciated. Thanks!

it all depends on the size of your baby. Mine is pretty chubby cos his birth weight is 4kg so his 0-3months clothes abit too small as in the shirt is too short. romper still okay.

my bb sleeps 4.5hr last nite, the longest record to date! finally i can get sufficient 40winks at nite, even if it is only 4.5hrs

Lets see how she fares tonite. Seemed like her sleeping hours at nite is the shortest among Feb 09 mummies here. I wonder if there is anything to kickstart her long sleeping hours at nite .... hmmmm .....

I had balanced for abt 2weeks plus alone with bb apart for some 3 hours of help from MIL in the morning. Very tough. The level of cleaniness in hse is the first to degrade ;) But things will get easier as the bb sleeps longer at nite. Then we have more energy to go abt our things while bb sleeps.

like what joannelim and lonerunner said, it really depends on the size of your baby. my baby was born 52cm and 3.3kg..at 1 month couldnt fit into newborn size but still able to fit into 0-3 months with big cuttings. now at 2 months, have difficulties wearing her nightwear and 0-3 mths romper. maybe u can wait till a little nearer to your EDD and see what is your babe's estimated weight. but its one month celebration, you want he/her to wear something nice and fitting rather than big and baggy right...just my opinion

I'ching: closer the date, we will be in touch for logistics? Just wondering, will you be bringing stroller? Cos i'd most prob do so and wondering if cab boot can accomodate 2 strollers

Actually good idea not to bring stroller too, on 2nd thots. Since we will be travelling from home to Fatjo's place. But you are using the sling right? I've bought mine, but not comfortable in placing baby in it. Perhaps i shld bring it along, and you can teach me how to use it! hahahah...
 
i have both actually... the carrier and the fabric.

Tried carrier couple of times but i am not comfy with baby in it, cos his vision is all blockedd. then i feel bad

Juz bot the fabric sling cos i thought it might be better, but turns out otherwise. he hates it! hahahaha....

All main courses serve with any 2 sides of your choices (French Beans, Coleslaws, Fries or Whipped Potatoes), except Hainanese Curry Chicken Cutlet, Chicken Wings, Ox-tail Stew & Beef Stew are served with rice.

We can order individually & just pay as accordingly. No delivery charge & GST. I will pick up & deliver the food to fatjo’s place. Money can be collected at fatjo’s place.

Mummies can refer to the attached table for reference. I will update the orders. Sorry i don't know how to do up the table to be viewed on thread (like the one previously done on whos giving birth next). any mummies can advise?

Hi hi,

I've a "hardly used" electrical yaolan to sell.
The brand is Sunflower Rocker.

The rocker has
- With adjustable timer function, up to 180mins
- Speed adjustment for low and high speed
- Included 6pcs spring (up to 19kgs)

I've brought it from Kiddy Palace on 5 March 09 and only used it for a few times.

The original price is at $149 and decided to let it go at $100.
And the warranty is still valid for half a year (till Sep 09).
