Baw baw: They say born little will usually catch up very fast! Meaning they shoot up faster =p

During the 1 month check up I recall clearly the PD saying his weight caught up liao just a bit short.....(he was born at 47cm) but just a couple of weeks later both length and weight was average =)

ur confinement almost over liao.. envy envy.. wondering when to do the full mth celebration.. actual day is on a thursday(5thFeb), so planning to do the traditional ancestral praying thingy and cake distribution on that day and buffet to be held on the weekend after.. bt dunno viable or nt, gotta wait for MIL to ask the elders for the green light...

oh's farm is good?? abit pricey hor..?? dun think my man wants to spend so much leh.. haiz...

thanks you for all the congrate and wishes. Im on total breastfeed den last night my boy vomit out blood. I got so worried and realise that both my breast is sore and bleed. Tried to pump out milk but 2hours i only pump less than 10ml. Sob

hey mummies....im having very light pinkish discharge + tummy tightening wif a little cramp (not sure if it's tight cos eat too much for breakfast)...no frequency type...bb still moving lots...should i call my gynae to check?

Valc: my hubby is alright, thanks. went to see doc and doc said its just common case of piles, nothing cancerous. thanks God. ya me too now having #3. its not easy but need to plan and juggle the time properly. when i had my #2, my elder gal was in full day CC and my mum helped me with confinement (altho i din do a proper wan). so with this #3, the kids are seperated cos i stay in sengkang, and my elder gal who's in P2 goes to morning session. my mum stays in sembawang and my 2nd gal goes to CC there. so this #3 will be taken care of my mum too. we are weekend parents and only bring back the kids on weekends. only my elder gal stays with us cos her school is near our place. later when the other 2 kids enter P1 then we will bring them back all together. gotta sacrifice here and there, no choice. what abt u?

anyway, my son is 9 days old, he drinks 60ml of BM per feed. nite time he takes 60ml of FM. is it the normal intake???

ange: how can ur CL not follow the instructions? by doing so, isnt the milk diluted den? no wonder baby isnt full lah... think u need to speak to her...

i live with my parents and i have 1 domestic helper in the 1 household. my dad does not really help with chores or kids. so it's me, my mum, domestic helper, my hb(travels for work so not around alot) to juggle the 3 kids and housework. it's really a scary thought how we are going to cope. my 1st 2 kids attend half day school nearby in the neighbourhod, so it relieves us in the 1st half of the day. but when they are back at 1pm, i think all hell will break loose. my #2 will take afternoon nap, but my #1 strangely at 3.5yo has stopped taking afternoon naps. i'm considering seriously getting domestic helper #2 but have to consider all like if they are going to get along, sleeping arrangements, expenses plus all incidentals. so i really dread the time when the CL goes back.

we still have not worked out sleeping arrangements for the kids. as it is, my #2 sleeps with my parents in their bedroom, my #1 sleeps with me and hb. now #3 baby sleeps with CL in the 3rd room. but when CL leaves?....
 
ni: my son is 19 days old la...he takes 80ml of milk...if BM also give 80ml if FM also give 80ml...no additional if given BM...just that if BM he will wakes up before 3 hours for milk...if FM he can sleep 3hrs +.
 
ni: but my CL told me by right my boy should drink 100ml liao...but coz 1st few days we didnt add milk (coz tot got BM ma)...so should increase his intake slowly...10ml every few days..

mercsboy...no more tightening liaoz lei...appear more like BH to mi instead...woody neber do VE last visit...he still say bb not engaged yet....as of now only slight brown stain on panty liner...

samval...haben call yet cos no more cramps...will continue to observe and see how...

congrats to all mummies who had popped recently!!

for those who have yet update on their bb's details, pls let me know and i shall fill up the table. =)
 
this morning starting from 12am my tummy kept hardening and relaxed at a time interval of less than 5 mins. was very uncomfortable and bb kept moving strongly and kept pressing on my bladder, causing sharp pain too. was getting worried, as the hardening continue for the past 1 hour plus. not sure whats the cause bcos my 1st pregnancy did not have this occuring. 1am plus, still the same... i have not packed my hospital bag too...

ended up i tried to sleep on my right and finally got to fall asleep around 2am plus. now bb still moving very often but no more hardening of tummy. *phew* false alarm.

you might having some show, look out for cramps for now. for my 1st pregnancy i had on off contraction for 2 full days before the contractions came in at regular about 10mins interval.

Valc, My MIL told me people who are pantang will not visit your home during CNY and woman who are doing confinement should not visit others so as not to offend their deities.
 
ange:is better ask her to follow leh..dun make thing different..if not bb will get hungry easily leh..for me..morning i feed bb 80ml for BM and at night formual 80ml too.if bb feed not enough will keep crying and hard to sleep.. pls watch out on her dun over feed leh..
 
miyuki1:think shoud be okie..u can see the insturction in the formual milk..they got say..a day bb cant excess to drink 720ML..and feeding not excess 6 time.. but for me..my bb need to feed around 7-8 time milk..cos morning is BM will get hungry easily..at night FM can last him for a few more hrs.so all have to depend on bb.

hi mummies,need some advice,my boobs are a bit hard but baby suckling only for 20 min at most. think cant empty breast.am i supposed to pump out everything,how to know it feels empty - when it is soft?

baby drinks 60ml per feed during his hospital stay,but think my breast milk supply not really here yet, its only 4 days since his birth.

just a short update....given woody a call...he suspect could be very early labour but so long as bb kicking then can still wait till tomoro morning to see him in the clinic....meanwhile just have to watch out for intense pain, heavy bleeding, waterbag burst etc then gota call him immd...

Hi. My wife is due this thurs. What if by then still no signs... waterbag burst, contractions, show. Will she still be admitted on that day and induce? Check last tues, VE still 0cm dilate. Although i know any moment anything can happen, but i'm just preparing my mind as i have 2 days of night work this week. Just want to try to be as prepared as possible.
 
Hi Cjteng: the instruction on the FM only shown 1month bb drinking chart and no information about newborn... I am giving him Similac Formula... My CL now feeding BB with 80ml of water plus 1 scoop of powder. The frequency of feeding is quite regular sometimes 1.5hrs only and he is hungry....kinda of worry bb overfeeding but PD said its alright to feed the bb as long as he wants it... haiz..
 
Yan Ling: if by EDD baby haven arrive, most likely the gynae will suggest inducing on that day itself, or latest 1 or 2 days later. i think the gynae also wouldnt want to delay. as matured babies will poo in the womb. not healthy. get ready for fatherhood!

piyo: i also think u having show. it will be soon for u and bb zethan!!! so u seeing woody tml??
 
miyuki1: my boy also drinking Similac Formula Milk supplementing with BM. but i feed bb 60ml of water with 1 level scoop of milk powder leh. 80ml water with one scoop might be too diluted for baby??? if u want to give 80ml, u may want to give 90ml of water with 1.5 scoop of milk powder. den if baby cant finish its ok. this is what my PD says. and more milk can last them longer! esp for night feed!
