wah.. u parked at taka ar?? that day when i went.. my hubbie parked at the public carpark beside borders leh... only spent 1.50 on parking.. bt den, hv to walk la..

hope that the TMC parking will be reasonable lo.. otherwise, think my hubbie might end up parking at square2.. 1.10 for 1st hr, and 60c for every half hr.. weekends and after 5, is 2 per entry nia..
 


piyobaby: hee... I will also be delivering at TMC! Also think will book for 4 bedded and hope fr upgrade. hehe.

hmmm.. no lah, wont use my glass dining table. Hv to carry the bath tub to & fro the bathroom also.
 
Ashley,ya,delivering at TMC got 2 complimentary carpark passes.

I also prefer Mt A but likely i should be going to TMC instead.have been going there for those checkups and also i joined their FBI liao.
 
Miaiko...sum were saying dat free upgrade hardly happen le....I rem going for the hosp tour and asking hw many 4 bedders they have...she was saying there's one on every floor meaning at least 3 rooms...they used to have only one previously....
 
Babystarlet...I signed up for FBI too...they give complimentary carpark passes ar...dats good. are u the mtb who mention abt signing up for pre-natal class le....which day & timeslot u going for? when's ur EDD?
 
piyobaby: i went for the tour too but forgot what the person said abt 4bedded coz I had initially intended to go for 1-bed rm. I have Phobia of small rooms and dislike noises. Also wanted my hb to stay by me as this will be my 1st delivery. scared.
But now, I decide on 4-bed coz $800 cheaper, dun wan my hb to spend so much esp when it's only 2nite stay, not on holiday. Also, if hb stay in, gota pay extra $$ per day.

My SIL also noted to me that for 1-bed, the nurse will leave the baby to room-in with u. Of coz tat's gd, but then u pay so much for the rm, end up u hv to svc urself and baby.

If in the end, no upgrade to 2-bed, then it's ok. I know my hb will pay for upgrade to 2-bed if available.
 
btw, did anyone here mention abt nice maternity clothes at Suntec? Pls enlighten me which are the shops and which level.

I went to Maternity Exchange yest. Clothes are nice but expensive. Also, coz they rent out clothes, Im really unsure which are not rented before.

Anyone also know which type of strapless bra to get for wearing now? And where to get? I have 4 weddings to attend in months to come lah..

Miaiko...of cos for beta privacy and companion from hubby, everyone would wish to go for 1 bedder...but I dun wish to spend xtra $$ anf furthermore it's a very short stay so just take it dat there will oso be companion in 4 bedder oso....hee

for suntect maternity shops...mi prefer spring maternity and cloud9 which is next to one another...few shops down there's perfect mum which personally I dun like cos the sales ppl will keep pushing u to try clothings and abit hardsell....dats my personal feel...
 
gelato: Girl registered at Henry Park as I am an alumni. We just moved to West Coast, very near Fairfield but still not within 1km... Was considering Fairfield and Methodist Girls, but FPS beyond 1km, MGS beyond 2km. Surely no chance... so we decided not to risk it.

Hope can know more mummies here.. i'm a single mother.. 3 kids father the same but we divorce.. now the kids is with me.. so the 3rd one the father dun seem to care alot.. i got alittle friends around me.. becuz all scare of my ex-husband.. so now also 'si kuan' never call me liao.. den i also dun have friends to talk to or sometime i wan to go out also nobody accompany me to go out.. i'm a lonely person living in a lonely world.. haiz.. sorry to talk so much.. i scare no ppl wan to be friend with me..

Yes, my girl can be helpful at times, even now, with her little brother. They play very well, and she tries to keep him away from trouble. And she'll help me fetch things when I ask. But she is SOOOOO MESSSY! Every day I nag her to pick up pick up pick up. Getting a little better now, but she forgets. So I'll be really happy if she and her little brother don't mess up the place all the time. Play and then put away is good.

ya.. pregnant now.. next yr den give birth.. i cannot kill this small little life even that me n my husband is not together.. my aunt help me to look after my kids.. now i'm still studying.. i juz dun knoe what guys is thinking about.. haiz.. my ex-husband now still always wan to meet me all that.. telling me the bullshit saying that he still love me.. but i dun see it la.. cuz he dun even care of this 3rd baby.. so no point telling me that he love me rite.. without him i also can live in a good life.. cuz all the money is i earn myself.. he never give me a cents from married until now.. his mother always say i spend his money.. but he dun even save how to have money for me to spend? now that i never live with him, life is better for me lo.. he even take money from me saying that he dun have money.. i also dun knoe where he spend his money at.. cuz everything is his mother paid for him.. haiz.. but never mind la.. all is in the PAST already.. i need to live on my life with my children..

pepper : I heard the standard is not bad, but i din really do 'research' in this area. We chose this sch bcos' we believe they emphasize alot on character building. If you're interested to know more abt sch standards & do comparisons - can chk out the MOE website. =)

Priviledged : you're so blessed. =) my 2 kids sometimes can play so well, sometimes fight with ea other... BTW, r u a SAHM?

Fiona : I admire ur courage... you're so young yet able to be so independent. BTW, how old are ur kids? do u hv help at hm when u start working for ur dad? It's not easy to work, & at the same time keep an eye on young children + 1 infant... when u need someone to talk to, we're here...

ask you, when u have cough does your GP/Gynae give you any cough mixture? my GP never give and just give me lozenges. now almost 1 week still having this stupid cough and runny nose. so irritating.

mercs: i rem you said you taking nasonex right? spray how many times a day? cos my nose all blocked up leh..
 
Samval : I can't rem if i took any cough mixture during my previous pregnacies. But i rem when i was bfg, some GPs were very careful, & some anything oso can take. But i believe there shld be some meds which are safe for the baby... u wanna try another GP, or chk with ur gynae?

Ladies : wonder if ur gynaes give any guidelines for weight gain? The guideline that my gynae gives is put on 2kg in 1st 20weeks & 10kg in the next 20weeks. I was able to keep to tis guideline last time, but tis time round i think i can't - hv been eating so much durains...*guilty*
 
piyo: for TMC, if choose 4 bedded, will be auto upgraded to 2 bedded without extra charges.... last time deliver at TMC & this is what they do.... but not sure whether they got see who your gynae is.... but what i know is that those under Dr Ang will get free upgrade to 2 bedded...

gelato: my gynae told me 2 kg in the first trimester then 0.5kg per week till give birth. but now i cant even hit 2kg and already 16 weeks. appetite seems not so good and lost about 1kg again...

Yes I'm a SAHM. Currently homeschooling my older girl who's 4. No maid, but I have a PT helper once a week. Hehehe, I don't want to think about weight gain at all. It's too depressing. I just try to control my diet and swim once a week, and hopefully my vacuuming and mopping floor 2x a week on days my helper is not here is enough exercise for me

morning everyone.. i have one daugther that is 3 yrs old n one son that is 1 yrs old.. i think i won't be letting him to watch me deliver.. my exam coming soon.. big head already.. later going to school again.. today last day of school.. got 2 weeks of study weeks den exam liao.. i dun knoe y the nurse last min den book for me lei.. if not can go with u girls..

samval: i'm still having cough till now n last mth i went GP he did gave me cough mixture....he says it's ok to take but i dare not take 3 times a day as per normal la.......i oni sometimes take at nite when i'm coughing badly

gelato: guidelines on weight? i've already put on 5kg n now still not 20wks ley.....

btw....who's going for the normal delivery? without aidings before?

Time fly fast.. gg to 2 more wks will be mine 5 month liao. Yesterday i dream that my bb is out leh.. and look v big and his face was red red.. then my brother shock ... y so fast i have delivery my bb..maybe I keep on thinking labour time.. that's y have the dream.. hahaha silly me..

DaddyToBe: I graduated about 7 years before you! very old liao... who were your teachers? Do you still visit the school? May want to consider joining the Alumni if you are staying nearby.

pepper, gelato: It depends on what you want for your children. FPS is a missionary school focused of character building. HPPS is also very focused on character building (well, plus alot other stuff la) but is a secular school. What I like about schools like MGS & FPS is that the kids get to bond with their friends & teachers for 10 years! By the time they leave school, they'd have build very strong relationships. There is also less anxiety when switching to the sec side. However, in HPPS, the kids will be separated after 6 yrs... then the anxiety about getting into another school, new environment, new friends, etc.

Fiona: Stay strong & resilent. I always tell my kids, it's not about set backs... it's about being able to pick ourselves up and making good of our lives! One of my colleague in her mid-20s has a 8yr old son from her 1st marriage. She recently re-married and is expecting a girl soon. She was a teenage mum, but went on to complete her studies, graduated and raise her son well! Well, ex-hubby is still the father of the children... he sounds young and immatured... compared to you (not that you sound old but certainly more matured and responsible)... perhaps one day he'll 'grow up' and 'resume' his responsibilities as father.
 
EmQ: My teachers were... Mr Quek, Mdm Lim (Chinese), Miss Lee Chin Lay (if i rem the name correctly), Mrs Yap + Mrs Wang (music) + some whom I can't recall off-hand now. I've shifted to JW so HPSS is farrrr. But I've got a friend who stays in JW and his nephew is also in HPSS leh. How to go about those kind of arrangement, do u know?

Edit: No I've not visited the school. Only saw that it looks very different now.
 
Suika, I am also having cough and quite a lot of phlegm. Started off with throat infection and fever, now it is just cough. Did not see doc at all. Want to let my body fight it out itself. But coughing hard sometimes makes my tummy hurt, like stretching the muscle too much. But I guess baby is protected right?
 

he is 27 this yr.. just hope that it will faster come to january.. den can see my little princess.. i wan to fully breastfeed.. but the first two i unsucessful.. hope the third one can sucessful lo.. becuz nipple too short already.. baby can't latch on.. den dun wan to drink.. sad lo.. now everything have to buy from the start already.. cuz all the baby stuff my ex mother in law throw away..
