ya, me oso prefer working than SAHM..need the $$ to buy my own things, more freedom..dun tink will like getting $$ frm my hb..but nw will definitely miss my gal when I go back to work..haiz, hw i wish can strike 4D or Toto..then maybe can be SAHM..hee..

Me tentatively will be coming with my bb..am trying to psycho my hb to come with me, but need to see his work schedule..

aiya.. just as i stold my friends that she can sleep thru the night.. she woke up at 4:30am..refuse to zzzz until now.. 6am.. gosh.. i m so sleepy.. pump milk till 2am..then 6am coax her to sleep.. now pump milk again... SHUACK!!!

Really hor.. " deng lang bua sai oh lor".. haiz.. hahaha!!
 
jowin...guess I'm a bit luckier. I pump every 4 hours at work... or else not enough for baby. Each time can only pump 150ml, so must pump many times a day to make sure baby has enough...

David used to sleep through the night one. But after I leave him at my MIL's place during the day when I started working, he started waking every 3 hours at night for feed again. My MIL really spoils him... He goes from sarong to her arms to maid's arm and back to sarong. Never put down at all. So now he refuses to lie down on the mattress to play for long. And my MIL makes sure he drinks very, very on time...so he cannot tahan being a bit hungry also. Sigh.

so weird leh. is all the FP like that? my sis also have a music one like a star from FP. and hers also like yours. got sound and the light but the light cannot turn liao. wah.. seems like FP is bad in doing the light rotating. so fast will spoil de.

so no one on any supplements now for breastfeeding? I scared my food intake not nutritious enough...
 
merydith, i m still on supplements from my gynae. DHAXtra and Obical (calcium). Both are for baby's bone and brain development. I bought 6mths of supply from my gynae during the last checkup. She said better to eat supplements since he was on TBF and the food we take sumtimes may not have the nutrients baby needs. I was BF at compass point yesterday and one aunty came in and talked to another aunty abt BF saying that her DIL BF but eat alot of 'junk' like sotong, prawn, belacan etc..which will not be very good to bb so BF or not oso not much diff. Hv to bear in mind, bb will take wat mummy eat.. so i always avoid cold drinks like coke etc..even hot weather, I drink hot milo..haha!

Jo, when i bought my cot, i oso hv a cot mobile but i dunno what is the music they play leh cos it is still in the box i never open at all. U wanna try? I bring to Snowger's house and u can try to see if the music is what Ashlynne love?
 
I so angry last nite.. Already very tired taking care of baby, hv to do housework, loads of laundry to wash and the weather not helping!! When hb comes back, must be alot of work piling up lar, his face black black! He's the one tat ask me not to cook yesterday say wanna go out for dinner but so reluctant to go out, wanna enjoy dinner oso cannot. I buay song, chided him off.. then he said he alr tried his best to come back early to go out for dinner but his effort not appreciated. So I told him lor "I gave u a son, i take care of him day and nite, even midnite he cries, i never asked u to tend him, u never even changed his diaper, u feed him with bottle, u leave the bottle on the table for me to wash, u drink water, the glass is in the sink for me to wash, i hv to wash ur laundry to wash ur socks to make sure u hv clean working clothes to wear to work the following week, who is appreciative of me? I dun hv proper lunch hour, i eat maggi mee and sumtimes biscuit for lunch, who is appreciative of this?" U noe what is his reply?? "U r on matertnity leave" Wah liao.. super angry.. i ask him to stay home and take over my ML instead and see how it feels. then last nite when Zach cries for his yao lan, i told my hb, u so smart, u take care of him lor. I m going to sleep cos i m too tired. Hahaha.. must teach him a lesson!

really? actually tat was being used for my #1 & after use, i dismantled & kept it so nicely in the box & tot of passing down to #2 mah, who knows when tat time wan to set up for #2, then realise that cannot turn anymore ler... i went to kiddy palace & ask & they told me after keeping for some times it's normal to become like tat wor... WTH! so in the end got to buy another cot mobile for Daniell lor heng never buy FP one again...

and u remember i said tat my FP swing got problem? i brought back to kiddy palace & they checked & said i shouldn't use alkaline battery.. then i changed to normal battery lor, who knows even worse coz sometimes working but sometimes not moving at all, so angry & i called & complained lor & insisted tat they exchange another one for me...

sama sama, my hubby also like tat, sometimes i also angry with him.. they really tot staying at home taking care of baby & do housework/cooking is senang one lor... i always tell my hubby off, i only cook when Daniell allows me to, if not i won't cook... hehe! One thing good is he will never dare to say 'becoz i'm not working' else he will know.... wahahaa!

btw, is it better to take supplement while BF ar? err.. my gynae never ask me to take one ler (he knows i'm on TBF)... so where can i buy the supplement? think i better take also coz sometimes i nv take care of my diet one... i only cook for dinner so morning/lunch i eat milo/biscuit/bread nia...

Jes, I've bn taking Neurogain since preggy. Its somewhat like a multivit to me plus DHA which is gd 4 d bb. On top of that, I'm oso encourage to take calcium since we r BFg.

wah how come yr hbs can slp when bb is crying loudly?? When my bb cries in the middle of the nite, I can ony let her cry while I prepare her milk in my blur state. Hb will norm spring out ( yes literally spring out!) of bed to carry her, to stop her cries otherwise whole neighbourhood cannot slp!

Merydith, I still on neurogain PB. Have ordered 5 bottles fr the BP cos its very cheap. M also taking calcium pills.

Xuelyn, I will be sending my current maid to agency tmr. She is still not aware of it yet. Will be replacing an indo maid. Indo maid more guai but hor communication may be a prob initially.

Supplements
I'm still taking fish oil & calcium pills fr gynae since the last visit 2 months ago.. Today i'm going for my pap smear.. Dunno whether if he will ask me to continue taking or not. If not, i think i'll probably get some multivitamins myself. Felt that since i've stopped taking multivitamins, i tend to fall sick easily. Haiz..
 
2nd bb - So ur new replacement maid is fr java? Best to get east java ones, more polite & gentle. My previous one fr west java got attitude problem & very chor lor. Broke my window grilles, now cannot lock le.. haiz..
 
Fong2, new maid fr ponorogo leh. Reali headache in selecting maid. Has started selecting maid since end Jan. This is my 2nd selection. 1st selection, the maid got chicken pox.
 
i have been working overtime for 1-2hrs ever since i started working on monday. i dun wan to stay too late cos i wan to go home and see my boy. my senior jus came and ask if i can come back on sat and ask is it i cannot work too late on weekdays. super sian.... everyday spend less than 1hr with bb. morning before i come to work, carry bb for 5-10mins then rush to work. by the time i reach home after work, he is already sleeping. haiz.....

2nd bb - Ponorogo is east java. Shld b fine. I understand how u felt too when choosing maids. I told my current new maid the 1st time when she arrived at my place all the do's & don'ts, including cannot tell other maids how much is her salary. Must set the rules straight from the beginning.

kath..i nvr subscribe baby tv for gerard..as for kids channel (34 -playhouse), i discovered he like to watch when one day, i place him at his rocker n i was watching it..he watch together w me quickly..so now i will use that channel to "entertain" him while i go bath n wash clothes..keke

Go for holiday

how i wish i can go for holiday in US now.. DO u know SIA got krisflyer miles promo.. for travel to san francisco in April only need 50% of the normal miles required. that means instead of 70,000 miles only need 35,000 miles and there are still seats available.. i have 50,000 miles dunno wat to do with them manz...

if its me last time... i would have booked myself a trip to frisco alone yesterday!!!!! But Hubby dont let me go............ so sad!! ARGH!
 
dolphin - i intend not to get ergo until baby really can't go into bjorn anymore, so perhaps by then, he doesn't need infant insert anymore. nowadays i don't support his head. i carry him upright and let him sit at my arm. actually with bjorn, i still managed to go to public loo carrying him.

mayelnn, the progs at baby tv all 5minutes onie, dunno what are those lar but alot of singing and teach baby stuff..suitable for baby below 3 years old. But cartoon network got tom n jerry leh.. i tink i will end up watching it rather than him..Zach very excited when he watch tv.. will squeal in delight if he sees something move..liek juz now got dancing elephant..he so happy..hahah

i always try to put my baby infront of tv (in morning) &amp; let him watch playhouse disney but he juz dun really like... only watch few mins then start to eh eh eh liao...

oh, wanna ask if it's ok to bathe bb at 8 plus 9 pm? used to give my boy evening bath at 6ish but thk he zz better if bathe at 8plus9 followed by body massage. but my mum says too late leh..

I have this channel. my boy keep telling me he want to watch cartoon when he wakes up in the morning this few weeks. jus his excuse for skipping the childcare. haha playing lil einstein now..

last time my elder boy also want to watch cartoon in the morning ler &amp; tell me dun wan to go to school... now he dun watch in morning liao but after school lor so always hav to convince him to let mummy&amp; daddy watch tv...
