omg gals.. just share with you.. I bought a PISA. i every pump i will ster everything. and i realise the rubber funnel tore off untill today that i have use! faints.. so gals dun everytime ster after pump. ster it 1 day can liao.

btw. anyone knows where to get medela funnel?? i know harbourfront got. only there mah? jurong pt got anot anyone knows?
 


Hi gals tat bought your baby cot from palmax

Remember we have a free cot mobile??? I have a request... If ladies who did not use the mobile already.. can sell or give to me???? My girl love it so much tat she smile so sweetly at it daily n smoothed her cries.. I bought other toys with music.. she simple dun like it , pout n cry.

I thought of getting another cot mobile but realise i could not listen to the music.

I have another house during the weekend, so i thought of putting it there too.

Please let me know?? k? I go n collect from you

one more thing.. i started to thaw the frozen EBM that going to expire. Realise tat the metallic smell is so great. My ger drank all the milk but i m so bothered by the taste of it... Sigh!!! Is it suppose to taste or smell metallic? Any ways to improve it?

I have to give Frozen EBM when i return to work.. No fresh milk from boobs every feed. I thought of stopping BF too

How come got metallic smell? Mine only got super fishy smell leh... and taste (which I am like yucks but my bb drinks).

is the smell very strong??? i felt really gross when i taste it.. cos there are 2 times i tasted sour... so i threw away... so everytime i tasted my own milk to ensure its not sour at all.. Now i tasted the metallic taste...so gross.. wanna puke... wonder how she drink it..=P

I din realise they compare salary until u told me.. I jus told my maid off.. told her not to compare salary w other maids in future. Ur maid bery bold lei. better sent her off now tat she only w u for 2 mths..

I've just got my replacement maid a mth ago. The previous maid work for me for 2 mths then kenna fired by me. Long story. To summarise, if wanna get indonesian maid, get those fr east java, young & single ones. Best is ever worked with indonesian chinese before ones. Never get from west or central java. We r very pleased with our new maid fr east java. So far no complaints at the moment..

Last saturday brought my gal to harbour front to try the bb swimming at hwa xia. My gal seems to enjoy herself. After the swim, fed her FM. That was ard 1+ going to 2pm. Then we went shopping at Vivo & since it's pouring outside we stayed there till 5pm when my hb finishes his gym workout there. Had early dinner. Then our gal fussed in her stroller. We made FM & fed her but she dun want to drink. Reached home ard 6:30, fed her the FM again she didn't want to drink, keep fussing. I tot maybe she got nipple confusion. I latched her on. Initially she fussed but after awhile she started to suckle & drank. But when i offered my the other side, she dun want le. So i tot maybe she's full. Then at 8pm she cried for milk. We fed her EBM, she finished all 4oz. At 10:30 at my mum's pl, fed her FM, she drank only abt 2oz. Then 11+ we fed her the remaining FM, she finished off. Next morning at 7am, fed her FM b4 we went to church. Then at 10am, she started mouthing. Fed her FM, again she refuse to drink. At 12+, the FM had to b thrown away. Fed her EBM, she finished all 4oz. For once i tot she suddenly prefers BM to FM after the swim. Told my hb if confirm she likes BM, then he has to buy a better duo electric pump for me le. But these few days i observed, she's back to normal le. Just that she seems to b drinking lesser. From 4oz to 3oz. Then everyday had abt 5-6 feedings. I wonder if it's becos of the swim tt causes her to behave so strangely?

mine elder one also rejects frozen ebm cos have fishy smell. but he like fresh or not frozen one...ha..haa.

ask a qn. anyone here has used ergo carrier before? my baby is out growing bjorn carrier, i once heard a mum saying that ergo carrier can be for bigger babies. is that true? and is it good?

i bought ergo carrier with infant insert. u need to get infant insert for more support if your baby cannot hold head and sit up right.
the instructions in the website to wear is v clear.

i cant it in shopping mall so bought via mummymilks. (internet store)

i did not try bjorn but find its better than sling for better weight distribution. for sling, after walking for an hour, my shoulder will ache. but carrier is thicker in material so its v v warm. not suitable for outdoor.

I bought a baking soda to help to remove odour from freezer... er, does anyone know wat shd i do?? place the opened bottle inside , mix with water etc etc?

My mum's fridge also contain raw meat.. then my milk are also inside.. SIGH!! so i m trying to get rid of the odour .

can anyone teach me?
 
haiz. i dono wat to do wif my elder boi le. refuse to eat or drink. tink his nose block one moment n runny d next. make him damn uncomfortable. when he c milk bottle will cry n refuse to cry. heartache. =(

My gal become bery cranky today.. refuse all bottle feeds.. onli wans to be latched. Its been a long time since i latched her. Last nite when i take care of her, me lazy to get up to make milk so jus latch her for 1 feed.. this morn onwards.. she onli wans to be latched...

I'm damn pek chek now.. dunno wat to do w her..

fabbie, Robinson Centrepoint sells Medela funnels.

Jowin, I hear it's normal for frozen milk to taste metallic or fishy. That's why I express during work and give the next day...trying not to give frozen loh. Plus the milk loses some antibodies and nutrients during the thawing process..

Snowger, count me in! I'll be there with HB and BB. Erm...who else is coming with HB? ^_^"

if u plan to use it now (kid is ard 3mth), u still need to get an infant insert for support. otherwise bb will not be very steady sitting inside.

i dont own a stroller so i am quite happy with it when use in aircon places. its not so straight fwd to wear it as bjorn.need a partner to help initially. the only issue i have is i cant wear it when going to loo.. ie if i go out alone with the baby.

I got no choice but to give frozen EBM when i return to work . I might be stopping BF already as i may not be able to pump at all when work.. Therefore Frozen EBM is impt to me.

hang in there... think BBs always go cranky once in a while. mine is oso very cranky during 1mth+ - 2 mth. Now better, juz dat she is very attention seeking and lack sense of security if she is alone.

me sama sama lor, when im alone with Kasia, i can do nothing except tending to the "Princess"/"Queen". ah.. now at least i got a breather during day, in fact i miss her alot after i place her at BBsitter. no wonder there is a saying "separation makes the heart fonder", din realise it applies to mum-BB relationship too! hahaha... ;D

hey. thanks. will be going to robinson city hall tmw with my mum. anyway heard robinson got sale. hmm hope to get the funnel ba.

jowin mine got metalic smell.. i once drink it. Its not sour.. but its more like milk and powdery when i drink it. and i feel like vomitting! lol. that was quite long time ago lar. lol
 
so it's normal to have metallic smell in frozen milk lor!! ai ya.. i pour away 200ml of frozen milk lay.. remember i say my fridge spoil?? i took out those defrost ones for my #1, then i saw the yellow thing float on surface again so i smell n taste it. yuck!!!! like drinking soap solution like that!!! damn gross smell n taste i thot spoil...

ya manz.. i also wanna puke....terrible... I threw away 100ml the day b4 as i felt its too metallic already... then i thaw another packet.. still passable ....If its not spoilt.. my ger drink it.. then forget it... My Poor baby =P

my #1 sure will not drink that "soapy milk" cos he too used to his FM.. everytime i jus gave him 100ml of bm for him to try. somemore from fridge not freezer so still fresh..

jowin, so you will be feeding your baby fully on frozen EBM? Wah...I envy mummies who have enough to breastfeed and pump and store at the same time. I couldn't pump at all when I was on maternity. Pump after latch really not much, very demoralizing. So I have no store at all...

she is drinking on fresh refrigerator milk now.. i will store excess EBM daily n freeze it up.. When i go back to work.. my mum will thaw n warm up the milk for her to drink... If i m able to pump at work.. shall give her mix on fresh n thaw milk at different feeds.

Wah.. damn sianz. i duno why.. I pump my breast and after than 1 or 2 mins my breast so painful! got those chi chi feeling. and i press it, its so painful! i have clear my breast already what.. why its so painful still. HAiz.. i think im going to get med from my gynea liao to soft my stools and to less swollen my lump. HOPEFULLY my lump can clear soon. haiz.. Hope it gone off before i start work

infact i can feel my vein's its so painful.. anyone encounter that?
 
how long will you keep the frozen milk? i keep the frozen milk also so that bb can drink when she need more, but don't know whether bb will drink the frozen milk or not. now she drink 110ml per feed.

Jowin, can still try 2 pump when u return to work. e.g. 5am or once in evening/night i guess.At least bb will continue to enjoy some freshness still rite?

but my lump very small only leh around my nipple area. not big leh.. haiz.. im trying very hard not to go KKH for them to kill me with their massage! sighz. and after i pump i will got a chichi feeling. haiz.. wana go mad liao!

I am trying to drag my time to 6hrs. now only 5.5hrs i pump. If i cannot reach 6 hrs per pump, i might not be able to pump at work as i can only pump during lunch n after work...

u looking for cot mobile ar? i hav one FP Ocean Wonders Cot mobile... the music & light is working juz tat the light show doesn't work anymore, means the light show tat projected on the ceiling will stay still instead of keep on rotating... let me know if u still interested.
