Sg sell freestyle at first few year but very ex at $859 lor... terrible.. tats why i bought it online at drugstore.

i did not stop massage pump leh.. so troublesome.. usually i pump for 30mins. i do not know if the breast is empty anot.. i only know from hard turn soft lor.

back from facial liao!! Going out really makes me perspire alot! and my breast was so painful because bb did not latch on from 12.30pm onwards..so it is full..came back quickly shower n pump one side cos another side waiting for bb to latch on..hehe

fabbie, if the shield buy smaller size means S size leh..Robinsons usually do not hv stock for S size shield one lor..now i using Mumsfairy L size my whole areola is sucked in. Mabbe i shuld go parentcraft next week when I go to do blood test.

ypg, ya, teaching in secondary school. Pri sch kids are defintely more lovable. I switch to part time teaching this year.

My girl regurgitate lots of milk after every feed. After burp, she will also regurgitate milk. Sometimes not once but a few times. How how??

Just brought my gal for 2nd jab for Hep B.

more cost effective. is the cheapest wipes ntuc brand? any cheapest cotton balls are sold at value shop?

Pre-school used to be not under MOE so not entitled to MOE privilege. N the pay is miserably low. But now I think MOE is taking over the pre-school education. Soon they may roll out pre-school education course. Keep a lookout ba. Hope u can fulfill ur dream.

Juz,

I dun think it is advisable to use cotton ball to clean baby bottom. The cotton may stick inside baby privates. I use Pigeon wipes to clean but for poo poo, we use cloth n water to clean baby. She will feel fresher that way.

I think for wipes, I got see $1.50 type at value shop but dunno good or not. As for cotton balls, I use only for dashing sesame oil on my gal belly button. $3.30 from value shop.

This infantcare price is indeed very cheap. For the block opposite my house, it cost $1050 before subsidy. Actually non-aircon centre seem to be better cause better air ventilation n less chance of spreading germ.

fabbie, cos of my HELLP syndrome during pre-pregnancy. Now after giving birth liao, i still hv to do the test again to make sure my liver and kidney are functioning okay because previously my body not storing protein..

my cl use cotton wool to wipe bb bottom one leh. I using Watson's facial cotton.

I realise my ss din really increase alot. Juz now pump for 15minutes at one side onie yield 70ml!

i read from nov thread, one mummy say she drink fish + papaya soup for few days and then constantly latch and pump every 2hrs then few days later ss went up wor.. juz now i latch on my bb and pump after tat..onie yield 50ml, better than nothing. hopefully will be better after few days.

ypg - so far i don't see cotton sticking to private part. just put a small container of water n wet it before cleaning. as long as the cotton is wet, it doesn't stick. it will stick if it's dry. i find that cleaner than using wet wipes. i didn't know value shop got sell baby wipes. anyway, now i rather baby inside tummy.

Ya, red dates drink is heaty, but supposed to be gd for our body during confinement lor. My gal's jaundice level is 8 when dishcarged from hospital (day3), and 13 at day9, and 8 at day13. We also sunbath her every morning.

Juzyounme,
Gd that your boy's jaundice level is down. Can use the ng-kee herbs for 2 wks, so long ah? I heard use 2-3 days then stop lei.

thanks for sharing. Oredi bought the ng-kee, and my gal's jaundice level went down, but still above 100, ie at 135 yesterday. Heard that can only bath the ng-kee water for 2-3 days max. So from now til next checkup on Fri, we'll see how it goes.

I'm also bottle-feeding my gal. With my #1, I used to bring alot of barang-barang when going out, a big haversack like going camping, hee. Now I pack less, & since she's using small 125ml bottles, no need for bigger bag.

Rem I msg u abt my engorgement? I got fever of 39.4 degrees on sunday. I cried cos my breast were so pain + hard and I couldn't pump out the milk! Me went parentcraft on 31 dec. Mrs Wong was there n she was attending to quite a few babies already. Anyway they manage to clear e ducts (cos no milk flow when I pump)after a hell of a painful breast plus nipple massage. Now I jus hv 1 word to describe my feelings - *****Shuang* The sad news is I have to keep up my 3hrly breast pumping.

Robinsons got sale for Medela PISA and I am getting mine tmr. Agree with Fabbie that its comfortable and less painful than the Medela Single electric. Not hearing the pump run is oso less stressful!

U manage to increase ur flow? Aft my engorgement, my ss dropped fr 200mls to about 150mls. Wierd hor? I thought engorgement means more milk???

My initial ss was abt 20ml (Day 5 aft delivery), this was what i did:
a. Drink something hot before pumping,
b. Drink hot soups 3 times a day (papaya fish soup helps),
c. Do hot compress,
d. Do breast massage before pumping (damn impt for milk flow + removal of lumps and congestions!)

For me, I totally express breast milk cos my bb refuse to latch. I tried latching her today. She suckled twice then she pull off from breast n cry. My let down was ok but I guess she finds bottle faster than my let down. So I bo bian... Any one of u know if can breast feed for long just based on expressing alone without latching?

My colleague's wife ate the full dosage of 8 pills a day and she said BM ss increased.

snowger, my ss still the same leh.. abt 100ml each pump (if i dun latch bb earlier) and sometimes 140ml..ever reach 150ml lar but tat onie once leh..is so difficult to do hot compress cos need to boil water etc.. my house taps are not hot/cold controlled, onie shower area is..sigh

Remind me y i shuld not chase my confinement lady away?!!!?? Sorry I keep complaining abt my confinement lady but she is juz too much. I woke up at 3.10am to pump. So i ask her what time Zach woke up to feed since his last latch at 11pm.She said 1.30am and added "He din eat enough at 11pm"..furious liao lor me..i ask her "how u noe he din eat enough?" then she said "oh by 1.30am he start fidgeting liao and eh for milk" which to me is alr 2.5hrs since last feed, he ask for milk is normal so i replied "2.5hrs liao leh.. asking for milk is normal"

Wah liao..really wanna ask her to pack her bags and leave! She prob never ever hear of breast feeding before! How ignorant..and worse! such hot weather, she wrapped up baby, put blanket over him and turn off the fan! and there isn't any wind outside..its so stuffy.. so what if u r cold does not mean bb is cold as well..siao!! crazy!!

Yday u were there huh. i was there at 30th. Aiya if i know got sale i buy from robinson liao. arghz.. Ya damn sian is every 3 to 4 hr must pump lor. like what im doing now T___T. Btw your problem is bcus alot of white stuffs stuck at your nipple there is it? so how is it now? can pump out everything? engorge doesnt mean got more milk. i heard is frequent pumping will get more. If u drag too long on pumping will decrease lor.

Btw does your babies like 1 hr wake up to drink 1 oz. then sleep back again then wake up another hr to drink 1 oz again? im getting mad liao then my gal sometimes like that leh. then nvm.. i always feed her then later i burp her liao she burp very loud then followed by milk coming out from her mouth(vomit). does your baby the same? if still like that maybe will consult parentcraft, thinking is it my burping skill is bad or what. I heard mrs wong say my baby drink about 3 to 3 1/2 oz. Must let them drink finish cannot let them left over an hr drink again if not bad habit? But she always sleep in the end when sometimes she drink 1oz only. Jialet if my gal still like that im going to parentcraft soon again if not every hr wake up really siao leh.

oh poor thing on the fever. I suspect my left breast also got milk ducts block as i get engorgement on left breast easily and whenever i pump, milk so little not like the right breast

I also tried very hard to massage my left breast. Perhaps shall really use hot towel to massage my left breast. when i pressed , did not feel any lumps but pain lor..

After my grandpa's deceased and i shifted back home for confinement, i got no more good soup to drink, lazy to massage b4 pump, no mood to pump ss drop..

No place to pump or latch also... maybe need to go in law room but then i really unwilling to do so. Sianz...scare my HB relatives just barge in like this when feeding time.

Perhaps u dun feel happy cause of the unhappiness u feel towards ur MIL. But dun let it affect ur mood. Afterall, ur baby only got 1 full month celebration in her entire life, unlike birthday, every year also got.

Can u lock the door? Or ask ur hubby to keep a lookout.

I definitely wanna go to parentcraft next week.. i really stress, keep tinking bb not enuf to drink liao. last time i onie latch one breast, but these 2 days i have to latch him on both breast before he willing to let go.. and both my breast always feel so soft, like not full onie.. :'(

lock door is hard cos not my room, is my in law room. Yes, perhaps my resentment towards my MIL makes me more unwilling. If my mum side, i sure very happy to go over. My confinement not yet over.. my mum insist 30 days which is on 05 Jan. Then she said cause she did not get to cook for the last week of my confinement, she want me to prolong my confinement , for her to cook nutritious food for me.. She scare i did not get enough " BU"..next time health no good.

Like today, she said although is baby full month, i still need to eat confinement food. I told her, my in law where got so good to cook separate confinement food for me la. She very sad.. said no choice, then tomorrow, she cook better food for me to BU back... haha!! I think own mum is still the best...
