hmmm ya, don't be hesistant about epidural. It's there for a reason ... if you can't tahan a VE, then don't torture yourself when u undergo childbirth.

Xiao Pooh, wow .. your birth story is really quite dramatic ... yeah, they don't recommend shouting .. it wastes energy that you need for pushing baby out. Congrats btw !!! Jermaine is just lovely!

really ah? 4.12kg ?? wa lau .. did the mother have gestational diabetes? sometimes it's cos of that that the baby is past 4kg .. of course not all cases ..

Yea lor, i better go ahead with epidural straight away. My gynae always been having a hard time trying to coax me whenever she do VE on me. Cos i always get too tense up and hence lead to vaginal muscle tightening, so my gynae found it hard to do it on me unless she force her way inside, which hurts alot. I cannot walk or sit properly for at least 2-3hrs everytime.

My gynae advised me to take epidural straight away when i'm inside delivery ward. She said if i keep on getting too tense up, she said if baby cannot come out, she will have to cut me up already -_-!!

Congrats! ur bb is quite chubby leh. Ur birth story really v drama!

But very heng u oni felt the pains when 8cm dilated. And ur doc quite nice, give u the vaginal insert when inducing. Cos women who tried both say it's less painful compared to the drip type of induction. So happy for u n what ur friend told u is true!

I'm now 38wks+, went for check up yesterday but my gynae did not do VE for me ler, not sure why coz i remember he did check my cervix dilation (for previous pregnancy) at this stage... he only told me bb is growing very well, can come out anytime, juz be prepared & come to hospital if there is any sign of labour...

so anyone at this stage also same with me? i mean ur gynae also nv check cervix dilation??

btw, i hope bb to come out today ler, coz i like 1128.. if not pls dun come out till dec... haha i must be crazy liao

Rdg MIL intrude while BF, u r not alone. ah hahahha I tell u my classic example.

While i was still in hospital wif my 1st boy, mine was single bed room, n MIL was inside the room on the 2nd day. the lactation consultant draw the curtain when she was teaching me how to latch bb on. Then MIL walk in n keep staring at my breast....so pai say...

Then aft i discharged, was in my own room pumping milk wif room door, window closed cos privacy ma.. right?? Then she also walked in, open my window...ZZzzzZZZzzz I was like ..erm.. ma, im pumping milk now, can u close the window?? Seriously i really dunno she walk into my room for what? bengz man!!!!! my block is a bit like a L shape, as my unit is common corridor unit, ppl can see me from the corner unit..

talk abt breastfeeding.. When i have my 1st boy, my MIL and SIL just come into my rm when i breastfeed my boy or pump the milk. Really like free show wow.. At 1st so upset but wat to do they are just like that. i think is the upbringing ba. When me and hubby 1st married. They can come into our rm without knocking lei. Terrible.. My SIL worst middle of the nite came into our rm and use the toilet. Faint right..

My hubby tell her off and now she dun dare to do it liao.

at 1st i did lock the door but my MIL take key and unlock it. Roll eyes!!

when i say i am breastfeeding my boy, she say she will see how i do it cos worry his grandson didnt have enough milk. Faint!! When my hubby told her to give me some private time she say "in future if u lock the door i knw u all are doing then i wont unlock. But now confinement cant do anything mah so she take key to unlock loh" Wow.. wat a answer lei..

Maybe old ppl worry the baby dun have enough milk loh wat to do. After 2wks, my MIL dun go into my rm anymore when i breastfeed cos she say i should be able to handle my boy liao. So i guess my MIL is just concern lar just that she show it in a wrong way loh.

BTW tell u hor my hubby family have funny upbringing one. like my SIL change clothes can dun lock door and my MIL can dun close door. She is those can show me her tummy and breast also. Even in front of my hubby. Faint right. I feel so paisei lei

Juz back from my 37th wk appt, haiz...bb movement is still not much, gynac want me to monitor closly, have to go for CTG every week. Gynac do VE examine, not even dilate at all. If bb still not active might had to go for c-sect. Haiz ...so upset.

Xiao pooh - After reading ur birth story, i think i will ask for epi once i'm at the delivery room. Dun think i can tahan the stitch pain down there.

Luvudeepdeep - My gynae also never did any VE on me yet. Tmr i'll be 39 weeks liao. ALso dunno when will give birth. So far only did CTG once when i was in my 35th week. And every appt he will press on my tummy. My next appt is on wednesday. Hv to do blood sugar level test cos today's appt shows that there's sugar in my urine. I even had a B12 jab cos my blood haemoglobin level is slightly low. Haiz.. Really hope i'll pop during the next few days.

Anyone here suffering from rash? I'm breaking out in rashes all over my belly, with a bit on my arms and back of my thighs. I think it's PUPPP. Anyone has any tips on how to deal with it? I'm dying from the itch! Thank God I'm delivering soon. But meanwhile, the itch is killing me!!

Hi Echo,
I got the rashes at 24wks. Dun scratch, coz will make it spread even more. Try not to wear pants coz the elastic band will irritate your belly part... Heat will make it feel worse so have to keep cool. Try not to use hot shower on the affected areas while bathing.

I used Pinetarsol solution to sooth the itch (can buy from Guardian). Worked for me but din really work for Scarletgal who also kenna the rashes...

Continue to put on moisturiser.... hope this info helps =)

What I also read is that you should empty your bladder and if there is still fluid leaking out, it could be from the waterbag.

i got infection.. so tonight cannot rape him also.. gotta insert pessary..

actually, my gynae ask me i wanna induce or not.. coz i went in then i told her i come to complain one.. keke.. but i decided not not induce la.. coz she told me got 80% chance of success.. hmm.. if after 4 pills, still not dilated, then gotta c-sect la.. anyway.. i will see how la.. if by next fri, if havent dilate more, then i will seriously consider inducing la..
