3.19am - 1st signs of contractions
5am - called hotline was told to admit
6am - acc hb to mac for bf
655am - admit to mt a , 4 cm dilated
736am - given enema to clear bowels
820am - epidural administered
906am - dr choo arrived 3-4cm dilated
After she left, strong intense contractions experienced. Almost 1-2mins apart.
1017am - 7-8cm dilated
1035am - dr choo arrived, told to push
1047am - amber says hello world

haiz... i had a bad night y'day, had a big trash out with maid + a slpless nite for me. she did something behind my back and told lies. couldn't take it and scolded her back. then it went on and we realised that she sounded that she's got no intention to carry on with us so we are gonna send her to agent later. she probably thought she can change employer and get a higher pay (after hearing abt higher pay for filos now)! her attitude has jus changed, last time when we ticked her off she'll be so afraid that we will send her away but now very calm when we asked her if she wanna go back home she just said "up to u, just send me back to agent"!!

no lah definitely not another one, how to when we are facing this kind of maid issues, MIL won't be able to cope alone on an active V, and i dun know how she can do cooking somemore. now desperately gonna try to find a CC, at least 1 that can take her in for 1/2 daily.
and what more, i'm supposed to start on new job today and now cos of her, i had to delay it and if the firm decides to take another person, there goes it - what a big sacrifice!

Somemore now when the stakes are so high cos you supposed to start new job and becos of her, the job may be gone... all the more I will be nasty to the maid. my maid used my HP charger to charge her HP when we were out. it sounds petty but the arrangement is she is to give me the phone and i will do it for her (cos i dun tink i shd give her the absolute freedom to charge as and when she feels like) and it has always been the case. and nvm that she's done it, not a big deal. but when i questioned her she actually lied thru and denied using the charger, and this is what i can't tolerate - tell lies!

Maids are forever liars. But in your case, you cant keep her cos it has been agreed that you are in charge of her mobile.
For my previous and current maids ... they always tell mi something but action or say another thing to hb/in-law relating to household matters .. so I jus bear with it.
We are often soft-hearted one ... scolded them and wonder if we have been too harsh ... but must be firm in you and ur hb decision.

Cos they all looking for easy job, lots of freedom and with high pay (aka working for expats). For such thing I won't speak to agent. COs they will suggest you send back to them to recycle. Reason being, they will charge the maid $$$ again for transfer mah. Then they earn again from the maid and the new employer. Win-win situation for maid agency.

Since you decided to send her back to agent liaoz, then make sure you find out the 'penalties' you need to pay - as in her food & lodging charges till she finds new job, the maid levy is still charged to you, etc. Also, as her WP is still under your name, are you able to get new maid? Small breakfast issue this morning .. and she told MIL I said something which have confused her. Once I questioned her if PIL takes those breakfast and told her if they dun then dun prepare ... and since then she didnt even bother to prepare breakfast for my hb, only prepare for mi.

Think i described b4... My current cleaner is inexperienced (first time) and speak mainly hokkien. Sometimes i need to repeat my instructions to her, else she'll forget (unintentional). She's quite detailed in her cleaning job, so she can take quite a long time to wash an area. Need patience with her.

It's not easy to run a household with kids whilst working full time. Especially if your job requires you to be out-stationed or long hours. Guess it takes lots of luck for us to hit the 'Jackpot'. I'm also super tired of hiring and firing maids every 9-10 months. Meanwhile, always keeping my fingers crossed. Always hoping for a miracle. If I ever strike TOTO / SG sweep and become millionaire, I'll boot out my helper, resign from my job and become permanent SAHM. Then invest the $$$ in property and live off the rentals. heheheh...

I think your MIL will do fine. The cooking part can b easily solved by ta-baoing or catering. Perhaps u can bring V back home on 1 or 2 wkdays nights to relieve your MIL abit?

The friend's work assignment was extended recently. Therefore, he will only be leaving the US in late oct. His shipment will only leave US at the end of his assignment. I guess shipment from port to port will take about 2 weeks, excluding port clearance.
I should hv informed u earlier and not assume that u r ok with the date. I will keep your order if u cannot wait any further. If u order from amazon on your own, I guess u will get your order within a week. So sorry.
