my #1 used to sleep on single mattress on the floor but same like ur # 1 lor. she will climp up and squeeze with us. wow lau very squeeze-ing leh. so when #2 was ard 14-15 mths, we removed her bb cot and the single mattress. bought the sofa bed so all can sleep together. heehee

no big at all.. very tight with 2 queen beds. but at least we can sleep well... not so squeezing mah.

3Jems-ohh.. my L1 &amp; L2 also ard 19-20mths difference but by year, considered 1 year, so next time schling is 1 by 1. haha.

Aiyohz... I find 20-mths gap too close lah. The 2 older ones har... always squabbling. One day dun squabble will be major miracle siah.

Unlike the gap between J3 and them is sssoo big. End up the 2 older ones spoil the baby lor. If I 'beat' baby, both jie-jies will rush to carry and love her. *lolz* Even my dad spoils J3 like nobody's biz. Gave strict instructions that nobody is allowed to beat her. *faintz* So when I wanna discipline J3 must make sure the kongkong not around else end up I'm the one to kena scolding.

yes, my T1 is in CC. I sent her to CC when she was 21mths old.
T2 with my mil &amp; maid. but we fetch them home every evening on wkdays. very tiring to &amp; fro... usually reached home ard 8-8pm+.

tri_angel-nope. me FTWM... now my #1 goes to playgroup during weekdays, #2 is with MIL.. MIL takes care of both for me..

every nite I also go MIL place makan bring them home.. smtimes ard 9-10pm then reach home..
every morning bring them go again lo
only weekend then I take care myself. hee.

tri_angel-ur MIL can handle both without a maid? Initially my MIL dun even want us send #1 to PG coz scared sick easily.. so he actually went PG quite late..

my #1 headache, his PG is morning 9-11am.. but he always wakes up late.. coz at nite he keeps playing with didi.. both of them must play liao then sleep.. even close lights also play
sometimes i angry i put didi outside.. bring korkor in, make him sleep first.

I am trying to 'train' them to sleep early!! any tips???

Yah.... Mine also everyday fight. Sometimes I get sssoo irritated, I told them to settle their own quarrels. Mommy too tired and worn out to be referee all the time. J3 is our little sunshine. hehhehe...
 
Oh Yeah just to share.. we call #1 boyboy.. then when #2 is small, we used to sometimes call him boy too.. but #1 dun allow, say he is boyboy, that is didi.. become now we also used to calling #2 by name or call didi...

Then sometimes we call #1.. didi follow us.. call his korkor boyboy! hahaa.
we "scold" him say can only call KORKOR.. haa.

we will make sure all in our room by 9-9.30pm. no tv, off light and pat them sleep. usually my gals will drag another 45mins-1hr then they will sleep.

fifi: If you fetching your child everyday to and fro school then first must consider distance, i chose mine near home so reduce travelling time esp after school very grouchy drive too long wait cry non-stop.

2. When you walk into the school, do u feel nice ab the environment? Just like u seeing house to buy, same type of feeling. I saw 2 skools before enrolling my gal, 1st school the feeling was very negative, no aircon, children walking abt after bathing, didn't feel nice and no warmth feeling towards it. 2nd school I like quite a it cos near home and ratio not so large...2 teachers to 10 kids. Activities also changes all the time.

Also, also consider can use CDA to pay fees? They will help reduce outgoing $$$.

ALso try to meet the potential teachers to see if they present themselves well...

Can't also laze in bed if given e chance... zzz... tink last nite every half to 1 hr time hav to wake up to check on my feverish gal and due to her whinings.. even in her sleep she can cry saying 'walk walk' -_-" My eyes could hardly open now..

Anyway finally had Ippudo dinner last nite. Nice.. took e one with miso paste and garlic paste and it's goooood but i find it kind of jer lak probably cos it taste much stronger.. Am glad i finally satisfy my cravings thou.. tsk tsk
 
Mummies need some advice, my gal doesn't seem to like going to class, whenever I bring her in she will play a while and then later cry to wanna come out...when she is out of the classroom she is very happy...should I withdraw her? About 3 weeks already...

My dad say she is not ready..too young. But I do see her classmates some very adaptable.

Thanks. I will be fetching her to school coz sch bus will take about 45mins-1 hr coz she will be the first on the bus. If I fetch her, 10mins enuff. Come home let her take school bus lor. Not much choice but at least she will have my cousin to accompany her on the bus. He is 1 year older than her and shld be the same bus.

The school is ok. Its a kindy in a church. Classrooms are aircon but rest of the area is not. Its a kindergarten (not childcare) so no bath time to worry about. Its just lessons/activities/snack time/play time. Can use CDA too. I guess ok then.

It takes awhile for kids to adapt to sch environment. Even Lucas has attended Zoo-phonics for 3-4 mths, he still cant sit quietly inside. So I will choose to sit behind with him in order not to disturb other kids.

I would think it's time to bring them to a sch activity at least once a week and let them get used to sch environment.

this sat my gal last session with Zoophonic le.. (4 lessons in total).. Dun tink i wan to continue ther liao cos dun find it that good.. My gal and my fren's gal stil kind of withdrawn in the class and ting is we think e other students hav been ther much longer so the teacher closer to them and get them more involved.. Eg when she was reading story book with flaps.. she get all the rest to open flaps except for our 2 gals.. some even did it repeatedly.. And my fren's gal was actually showing some interest but e teacher never ask her to come forward.. Chinese teacher is quite good thou..
Another thing tt place not v conveneint.. out of nowher.. if my hubby fetch us ther he also no wher to wait for us.. hav to drive to thomson plaza while we take bus there ourselves aft class to meet him

The teacher at Jurong West quite good .. she gets all kids involved for all activities, even a ^5 to the book after story telling. But it really takes awhile before Lucas get involved in all activities ... now he will go hug goodbye to the teacher when I asked him to .. not like last time, he cant be bothered. Anyway, I'm gg to withdraw him soo too ... cos will be putting him in CC weekday full day so let him rest on Sat and Sun.
 
Jo and kiki: thanks for the advice, think I'll stick on longer and hope it gets better..she attended one term in Shichida, she quite liked it although with some occassional 'wanna get out of the room' attitude..this one 3 hrs maybe she feels bored sometimes with structured class.

zoophonics frankly speaking is more affordable compared to the rest ($25 per lessons vs ~$50 from the others).. If the teachers are good i dun mind continuing thou i dun really fancy e location. They do singing, phonics teaching, story telling, arts &amp; craft. I added in chinese lesson for jus additional $20 for all 4 sessions. Its half hr and e chinese teacher is better compared to the eng one..

e one at upper thomson lor.. really come out dunoe go wher one lei.. u can only choose to go to e cc jus besides it or kopi diam opp.. otherwise take a bus to thomson plaza which is 1-2 stops away
