Last friday, PD from Kidslink gave Lucas paracetamol and brufen. We fed him both at 8pm and he vomited all his milk at 8.30pm (I suppose together with his medicine). 12.00am gave him paracetamol and brufen at 3am (I thought since he vomited all out, shld be ok to give him an hr earlier). 4+am when we were checking on him, realise his both eyelids, fingers and palms were swollen and brought him to Mt A immediately. He was actually allergic to brufen and doc didnt even want to give him voltaren cos they are from the same family.

yah,alot of kids all falling sick recently. my hubby's niece and my boy both caught the flu bug when they went for a 1 week enrichment class at zoophonics last week. heard from my SIL that one of the kids got runny nose then it started to spread to other kids. wonder why they din keep that boy off the class when he's sick. now my boy is so grouchy for the whole nite when his nose gets really blocked up.

Ah lian: ya. I was even thinking maybe she uses friso to make cereal for all of them but no leh. She says she uses the cheaper milk like dugro & nespray to make cereal for them. & now gerard’s milk intake has increased, she feeds him friso too & says the 1.8 kg can finishes in a week! *faint* I really suspect now tt she has been drinking my friso secretly. Asked my younger maid if she has been drinking the baby milk & she made a disgusted face. Duh.
Poor ah jo. But actually try not to give 2 fever medicines together. My ex boss was v paranoid abt giving her daughter fever medicine cos she herself is allergic to paracetamol.
Ah Zel: my R is like ur R lor. Big & chubby. Think if she sits on ah yen’s jalen, she will squash him flat. Last time we weighed her @ clinic 2 mths ago she was almost 12 kg. now maybe closer to 13? She’s bigger than all her brothers. Even my full term kai was probably 2 yrs old when he hit tt weight.

Because of this, my gynae visits are bi-weekly, instead of the normal 1 mth visit. Guess he inherited my genes of being small.

The farm is generally clean. But the section when there's hen n chicks slightly more dirty cos they are free to walk around n thus got poops here n there. Keke.
R hates to brush her teeth. She will clamp her mouth shut when it comes to brushing. How to make her open her mouth to brush? I used new tooth brushes n show her when I'm brushing but she is not interested. Scare her teeth will rot if she dun brush. Haiz.

It also took me abt 3 wks for Jalen to brush his teeth. We made it like playing water and which he likes then slowly brush his teeth. We demo how to brush teeth and we will do the same for him. We brush his teeth before he bath at night.
Of course, the 1st few attempts, he will cry and refuse to open his mouth and otherwise bite his toothbrush or bite my finger when i want to check his yellow teeth.
Just have to keep trying.

ah lian, ya V seems ok liao. yes, conjunctivitis is eye infection oso known as sore or red eyes. dun know what she's seen, haha... brought her to PD and was given sterilised wipes and eye drops, works wonder

darlest, no nickname for my gal too. we have been calling her by her name since birth so now she knows how to call her own name which is good. if u wanna change the habit, better change it now than later perhaps still can?

I went to Seimpi at Hougang Mall for the trail class during the weekends. It is located on the 5th floor.
It is a music school and there have classes for tots, to introduce to them music early.
I didn't really enjoy the class. If i compare it to the Postive Tots class in Tanglin Mall that i attended to this, this class only score 5/10. Reason being : 1) the teacher is not spontaneous
2) No interaction with child 3) Teacher is just conducting the class, once time up. The teacher will just go.
whereas for Postive Tots, the teacher is spontaneous . Teacher give feedback and my girl enjoy the class.
Next week , i am going to STACCATO at Turf Club for their trail lesson.

My gal till now does not like to brush her teeth, didn't really enforce it cos still cleaning her tougue and teeth wif cloth. Everytime, when i took out the toothbrush she will hide her face on the wall.
Me and my hubby call our girl "en en" and she will call my hubby "Dad... di" or "Ah pa" , intially call be " Meh Meh " now slowing " Ma..mi". Very cute.. now missing her so so much.

How long does it take you to feed your BB. My BB will take an hr or longer. From her food being hot to cold.
When we are out eating , i need to walk in and out of the restaurants to feed her. Kind of embarrassing, but ever since I became a mummy. I don’t know the word “pai say”.
My mummy always say that feeding my ger need a lot of patience. My ger can eat a bowl of rice ( normal rice bowl size) sometimes one and a half, just that she take very very long. How to make her eat faster…

So for her porridge, i scoop them out in 'batches' to prevent them from become cold -_-

If he likes, he will finish within 10mins.
Some fav are sponge cake/cookies/brown rice cereal/plain rice/adult food, he will finish fast.

My ger don’t like porridge, she only eats rice but must be soft and moist type for lunch and dinner, sometime will be noodle. For her main meals, it will be an hr, snacks usually finish in less than 15 mins. For her snacks, it will be cheese, yogurt bites, 4 pieces of cookies or fruits snack or cereal bars or bread or corn/tomato crackers.

Anyone's child not taking rice/porridge? My gal for 3 weeks or more not eating rice, but only bread and milk sometimes biscuits...Wonder if its normal? She seems to be extremely selective and likes fried chicken but not pork?

So happy today , my ger went to the altar and say "Amen". My mil said can start teaching her prayer like " Our Father" but whenever I sing to her she will shake her hand asking me to change song . Btw, we are catholic .
I am already very happy that she know how to kneel and do the pray gesture and now saying "Amen" , just double my joy.

lucia: my son take 1 hour to finish his food.. same from hot to cold.. so i use the thermo flask to keep his porridge/rice to keep it warm.. if he likes the food, he finished faster but still close to 1 hour, if he don like.. is more than an hour.. haiz.. and he only like homecooked food.. we try giving him "hor fun" outside, he spit it out.. haiz..
brushing teeth: mine too, don like to brush teeth, still using the cloth to clean his teeth.. and very scare to clean his teeth, cause he really BITE HARD!! ouch!

brushing teeth: mine too, don like to brush teeth, still using the cloth to clean his teeth.. and very scare to clean his teeth, cause he really BITE HARD!! ouch!
soho: my boy also very fussy person.. he don like leafy veg.. like peas, or brocoli etc except no leaves.. ever try to bluff him by putting the chopped leaves into his omelete.. but then the moment goes into his mouth.. he spit it out. my boy like cod fish than threadfin..
ah lian! my FB has a pix of her sitting on my MIL's lap helping to pluck tow gay. my MIL loves her to bits. i find my MIL v fond of girls. now my mum also starting to be nice to her, maybe worried she'll be too close to her ah ma, haha. my mum calls her 大胖猪.

olwen, oh no, i dun want any of my children to inherit t (fat) genes of my hubby! He used to b firm & muscular when i first met him... now all melt down n turned into fats

morning mummies!
sigh.. last week was a bad week to me...becos...
1. so qiao, my boy also diagnosed as allergy to ibuprofen.. fever, rashes, swollen eyes, hives after his nap @ childcare.. got a shock when teachers at cc called us.. so poor thing.. but good thing is he's still active and noisy lah..
2. then my hb sick and down for whole week so got to sleep in seperate room .. I din sleep well last week at all cos need to wake up and monitor my boy's fever, can only use paracetamol to control it.. on and off.. on and off...
3. my potential maid which we confirmed and paid the agent fee backed off! Her current employer agrees to give her more off days.. so she agrees to stay .. walao.. so got to restart my maid hunt again...
