How about organising at a hotel function room? We can choose those 4* type like Hotel Rendezvous, Orchard Hotel, etc? Just a suggestion cos I feel a hotel function room is more suited for a private event then a restaurant cos at least we will know tat all the people there are our own, instead of having to mix between public areas and the small section tat the restaurants cordons off for our party?

Plus if we bringing in own entertainment like face painting, magician, etc, we won't have children from the public joining in.

Just my own opinion hor. Pls dun shoot me. heheheheh

p/s: If you all do decide to choose a hotel venue, I can help out in this area.

me gave the yoghurt baby yoplait to my bb the other day, keep forgettin to tell u guys until today when i tried it myself. that night, bb got stomachache and cannot sleep, tears rolled down her cheeks cos she was in pain. too two hours to calm her down and she pooed a lot too.
today when i tried it, now im havin stomachache!!

hey mummies! am using pampers active for my boy but dunno how come recently his pee keeps leaking at nite! any diaper brand to recommend me that can keep him dry the whole night? ? is the pull-ups type of diaper more absorbent?

yeah, i love it too!! you think its too much to give it to her once every 2-3 weeks? =P wow, baby K is really loving his food ya! I still dun dare to try giving baby H porridge coz she gags even if her cereal or puree is not very smooth. bleh... just bot a jar of earth's best green beans &amp; rice. shall let bb try it tom since we will be gg to ah ma's house for dinner. too troublesome to bring EBM, cereal and puree along..hahah..

i have been using Mamy Pako for night and its great! even Pampers dun work as well on my bb but it really depends on each individual baby though. have to try diff brands to see what fits the best.

Bear and Fifi,
thanks for sharing about the brown rice too! so that means if i grind it, then there is no need to soak overnight? just wash-grind-cook? shall wait a lil longer before letting bb try it.

Re: feeding cereal
now bb getting picky and doesn't like to eat cereal on its own so i gotta add some flavour(fruit, etc) to it. Gotta get creative already..any mummies any ideas or tips to share??

I am using dryers... find it very good! (but so far I am comparing it to petpet and drypers -- which leaked on me). Lasts for about 9hours!

yeah! they emailed me about it so i just placed and order and paid for a 4-panel. yipee for both of us!!

i guess if bb seems happy with it, should be ok? i think for BF babies, its best to go with slow flow teats rather than fast flow..thats why i am still using size 2 teat. i will only slowly change to faster teat when she weans off BM..coz BM is less thick in consistency so no need to rush to increase teat size?

Ooohhh.. thks. I was looking high and low for tat version. Lucky I saw your postings else I also dunno about it. I send email to the seller liaoz. Hope still can get it siah.

As for the playmat, I'm currently using a 4-panel play yard (the ugly blue/red Haenim) and am using the 1900*1300 size playmat. But If you going to use the 6-panel play yard, then I would suggest getting the slighly bigger playmat.

Wash -> dry -> grind. Dun think can grind properly when wet.

I no need play yard liaoz. I told Alyssa to keep within the boundaries of the playmat &amp; she really listen. She will move then and stop juz at the edge. Heehee.
