Hi momojess, my boy has start from Nan Pro 1 and proceed to Nan Pro 2 since 6.5months, no prob with poo leh, he usually poo 1 to 2 times per day. U may want to stop unpolished brown rice for a while and see if his pooing pattern improves.

Thanks for sharing. So when your bb is running a fever, what did you do? And how long the fever last? I really wonder when the fever will totally subside and when should i stop giving him medication coz when i stop, it goes up again...hhh...

My bb also like that. Once I stopped medicine, the fever resumed. Brough her to doc and he prescribed this Aroxin Granules - an antibiotic. I didn't really like to start bb off antibiotic cos it weaken bb's immune system. Once started, next time must take a stronger medicine/antobiotic. But doctor assure it will not do much harm and at least fever subsided since yesterday noon. I'm not giving her any more fever medicine but antibiotic must continue for the next 3days then discard.

I put cooling pad on her forehead and wipe her back with a lukewarm towel.But she is super cranky these few days. I've been a tree to a koala bear.
 
Mummies,
No sure if it due to teething, my gal's sleeping pattern is disrupted. Last time, she can KO at 8.30pm and wake up at 8.30am. But these 1 week, she sleep at 8.00pm, wake up at 9.30pm and want to play till 11 plus and still refused to sleep. Hubby will always rudh to her whenever she wail in cot. Last night, commanded him to leave her alone when she refused to sleep at 12.30am. In the end she wail for 15 min and drifted to sleep on her own.

Here is a description of what some of the roles do:

1) Admin - will track the number of ppl listed down for each day and upload it. This is crucial as sometimes ppl post closely behind each other, hence names will be omitted. U will working closely with the Treasurer to ensure we don't go out of budget and remind the mummies that haven't paid. U will also keep track on what we have bought so that we won't buy double.

2) Misc - U get the odds and ends done. Things like utensils, plastic containers (to ta bao extras), trash bags etc.

3) Decoraters - Need to purchase decorations, organise balloons (helium etc), go there early to do the decorations.

4) Caterers - must cater for non halal, vegeterian and also a smaller buffets for mummies bringing their older kids.

5) Incharge of entertainment - to source for balloon sculptors, magician, face painters etc. of cos must within budget.

MILDY is BIG BOSS. that means she gets to throw in suggestions and tell us what is gd to buy, what's not gd to buy, scold us for not being on time, praise us for doing a gd job.

Please put ur name in where-ever position u wanna fill. Don't expect ppl to do it for u cos we don't know ur preference ya?

As for the qn what happens if u cannot make it on the day itself, that's one reason why i suggested DEC initially. cos by then all the Nov bbs would have finished celebrating their bdays. But Dec's catering is more ex. Do u want to put it in DEC??? pls say hor!

why need separate smaller buffet for older kids lei? At their age they can also take the same food already rite.. jus need to make sure dun get too much spicy stuffs ie get food thats ok for them to take.
 
Peanut, some kids might just want finger food.. easier for them to manage. or u just make sure that there's enough for all the older kids. Some of them just turned 2 YO and have not started on adult food.

i think seperate food for kids not neccessary. or we can have high tea buffet instead? unless any mummies here their elder kids still aint able to take adult food yet?

I tink most older kids can take the normal food liao.. And also they wont b taking much - jus a few types from the varieties, so dun tink its necessary to cater separately. The most we can make sure to include 2 types of finger food for them.. with other few dishes which r suitable for their intake i tink its enough.
 
dun worry.. we'll make sure the older kids wont go hungry seeing the rest eating kekeke...
And these days most caterers r halal certified liao so not a problem as well.. only thing is vegetarian... umm... Vegetarians kindly indicate pls..
 
I will help peanut and jo with the catering.

For older kids, just ensure that there are some finger foods, plain rice and non-spicy dishes such as tofu and veg. Shld be ok.

At most when confirm attendance, those with older kids shld indicate any special needs for their kids lor. Extremely special diets, we cannot do much lah. But general special requests can be taken into consideration when planning the buffet.

We can stil go ahead with the usual nasi goreng, fried beehoon, fried rice etc (cos i tink the adults will prefer something more tasty).. then if plain rice prefered for some of e older kids we can allocate 1 mummy to prepare a small portion for tt purpose wil do..

wah tolay al topic abt e bday bash.. tok abt other stuffs also lei.

my hubby keep preaching tt bb wan us to carry then carry them cos only a few yrs to do tt.. now he on reservise 1day incamp 1day come back.. jus called and found he's not at home with bb but working in office.. he say at home bb v whiny always wan him carry.. Now he know the effect!!!
