Hihi, just came back frm checkup. I having a mickey but need further confirmation.
In my previous checkup wif Dr Tony Tan, he said 80% minnie but now Dr Koh said its mickey.
I hope its mickey cos my hb prefer boy boy..
Peanut, my hb also reluctant to sign up.
Bear, maybe u can check with your gynae the ways to relief the pain and he/she can give u mc to rest also.

ur spinal problem sounds a bit serious. do u hav see a specialist on regular basis? i can imagine once bb bigger will add more pressure on you

nowadays boy & gal quite even hor. might have changes til all did the detail scan. ha! last time i went visit my fren, saw the nursing room most of the bb are wrapped pink in cover. meaning mostly are gals. hehe..

today i got a bad news abt one of the forum mummy's hb passed away due to illness..he's only 36 yrs old & he's leaving behind 3 boys..so ke-lian..the mummies at our #1's thread are giving the Baijin to this mummy..hope she's able to remain strong..with 3 kids on her own now is not easy..sigh..life is v fragile..we shd treasure wat we hv now..

icic..usually with a baby in the family..the routine will be v diff too..got to slowly adjust to get use to it..u monitor & see hw u can cope la..if u r keen to donate ur bb's cord blood, i can pass u the contact for the lady i liase with for my #1..

i think Dr Koh might be accurate..coz most friends that saw him mentioned to me that he's q accurate..maybe wait till the next appt then u see wat Dr Koh tell u ba..keke..when's ur next appt?

sad to say..RH do not hv any baby hospital bag for us..all is self-provided one..they only give one diaper bag upon discharge & some milk samples..the rest is all provided by us..keke..if u got a chance to go back to RH..do take a hospital tour & u will find out more..apparently they seems to hv only 2 nurses on duty that time when i gave birth to #1..so can u imagine if all the babies cry at the same time..aa..i hv to bring along my own mittens/booties to change for my #1..ops...

Dr Koh is pretty 'skillful'... My bb was sleeping during my last scan. Dr Koh put a little more pressure on t probe to wake t bb up! He even managed to make my bb turned to triple confirm its a minnie. I saw my bb yawned after we made her wake up!!! Poor thing...

belly band/belt: I bought it from Mothercare last monday. UP: $29.90 . Got it with further 20% discount for tat belly band (last monday was the last day sales for tat item)
Stretchmark cream: Bought the cocoa butter stretchmark roll-on from Bodyshop with 15% discount but find it quite sticky. Prefer the Palmers Cocoa Butter.
Babycot: Someone mentioned Baby Hyperstore at Kaki Bukit, Shun Li Industrial Estate. Few units away, there is another one call Baby Kingdom. I find their babycot much cheaper and they having GSS now. My hb say Baby Hyperstore was visited by some Mediacorp artistes and dunnoe issit bcos of tat, their babycot prices quite high.

Lovedogs, Wtan, erm i did ask my gynae if i can use medicated plaster or rubs on my back.. he said inevitably there will be chemicals absorbed through the skin but didn't think there is a major prob to it. i m gonna ask if i can do some yoga and see how. light stretches might help me...

Babycots: i've never tot of buying a cot earlier becos his mum a babysitter and there is one cot set up in her room and i tink ther's another one in the storeroom.. was actually tinking mayb jus buy a nice mattress to place over it. Now i better check if there is indeed a standby kept, if not then need to get one, dun wan my bb to share cot with other bb/s she looking after =(

It can turn from babycot to playpen, a bed or even a sofa. Which means you can adjust the two frames and adjust bed level to 4 different height. My mum is gg to baby-sit my baby and my dad wanna pay for the babycot and leave it at their place. I'm certainly fine with it. Hehe.

Jo, that sounds like a gd buy leh.. the one i saw at Mothercare was made from some teak wood thingy (or something that looks like teak wood) and it cost $560. just have drawers at the bottom. Do u have any ideas how long the sale will last?

just got a sms frm a mummy friend whose gf went to the wake that this forum mummy's hb died of lung cancer..he's only 36 leh..v ke-xi..hope this mummy friend will stay strong for her 3 kids..youngest is less than 2 yrs at of nw..hope the medical bills isnt that ex for her to bear..

ya..i think q sad also..one of the forum mummy spotted at the obituary & thot that the name of this forum mummy sounds familiar & names of the kids..even more familiar then we realised it's her hubby aft some verification..the hubby was holding 2 jobs..not easy for the family lo..esp with 3 kids..sigh..life is so fragile..i stayed at 2 bedded the other time when i delivered my #1..this time i hvnt decided to take whc bedded..i visited my gf who also gave birth there at a single bedded..indeed like hotel lo..location is v prime i must say..my mum can cook & take mrt to visit me that time when i delivered #1 then..my colleagues also came to visit me since our offc was at town area then..

this forum mummy who hb died i think she's less than 32 yrs old..i cant imagine with 3 kids to take care of & to shoulder all under her own wing in the future..just hope the bill isnt as high for her to bear..hmm..i guess the EDD shd be based on the LMP..of coz +- alittle since v rare most mummies will give birth exactly at the EDD..most might be early too..so just estimation nia..

i think most impt is ur like the type of material u r getting for the babycot..like can be converted to what kind of bed aft bb grow bigger..etc...the color to match ur furnitures etc..if u really like it then u can order the babycot to be delivered to u later nearer to ur EDD..coz to me..nw buy too early also like collect "dust" unless u r hardworking to wipe it wkly..hee..whc i m not la..keke..so ask them to deliver early so that u can wipe it out & wash the mattress cover with baby detergent before u delivered then timing will be just nice lo..

dun use those chemical medicated plaster now..ya...not gd if being absorbed by ur skin then indirectly passed thru to bb lo..i think u dun over strain urself too much also..back leh..dun play play too..ya..it was q sudden for us since she hasnt been visiting the thread often but we remembered her becoz there's not much mummies with 3 kids in that thread too..also all 3 boys then unique names lo..i cant imagine hw one can cope if the spouse passed away leaving the kids behind..really hope this forum mummy can be strong for her 3 boys..oh, pls help to email to JJmom on my behalf..thks..

just got a sms frm a mummy friend whose gf went to the wake that this forum mummy's hb died of lung cancer..he's only 36 leh..v ke-xi..hope this mummy friend will stay strong for her 3 kids..youngest is less than 2 yrs at of nw..hope the medical bills isnt that ex for her to bear..

ya..i think q sad also..one of the forum mummy spotted at the obituary & thot that the name of this forum mummy sounds familiar & names of the kids..even more familiar then we realised it's her hubby aft some verification..the hubby was holding 2 jobs..not easy for the family lo..esp with 3 kids..sigh..life is so fragile..i stayed at 2 bedded the other time when i delivered my #1..this time i hvnt decided to take whc bedded..i visited my gf who also gave birth there at a single bedded..indeed like hotel lo..location is v prime i must say..my mum can cook & take mrt to visit me that time when i delivered #1 then..my colleagues also came to visit me since our offc was at town area then..

this forum mummy who hb died i think she's less than 32 yrs old..i cant imagine with 3 kids to take care of & to shoulder all under her own wing in the future..just hope the bill isnt as high for her to bear..hmm..i guess the EDD shd be based on the LMP..of coz +- alittle since v rare most mummies will give birth exactly at the EDD..most might be early too..so just estimation nia..

i think most impt is ur like the type of material u r getting for the babycot..like can be converted to what kind of bed aft bb grow bigger..etc...the color to match ur furnitures etc..if u really like it then u can order the babycot to be delivered to u later nearer to ur EDD..coz to me..nw buy too early also like collect "dust" unless u r hardworking to wipe it wkly..hee..whc i m not la..keke..so ask them to deliver early so that u can wipe it out & wash the mattress cover with baby detergent before u delivered then timing will be just nice lo..

It's a insulated bag for storing breastmilk after w pump it out in the office so tat the milk can last (10 to 12hrs) till we reach home.
I got it at the expo bb fair yest at a bundle set, comes with a extra small bag for storing 1 milk bottle (can last 4 to 5hrs)
I got the set og the big bag + small bag at $60. Tang selling $54 for the big bag & $18 for the small bag.
Selling coz my sis going to pass me her old 1 coz she is weaning her gal soon.
