Bibi, Spore shld do the same, I felt real lousy taking the train (was a normal mid day like 12 pm), crowded like crazy..always have a spare seat for elderly or preggie mummies..

Any mummies here LOVE sandwiches during this period..and BA CHANG..? I had eaten quite a few and keeps having the crave..esp. nonya ones.
 
haha ya no one give seats on train even now that my tummy is showing i purposely stand in front of a guy that snatch seat with me and he can stare at me blanking like i am the idiot.
And there was another case last week this ang mo actually snatch a cab with me we were both at the road side and he got the cheek to hail the cab after me and get in just because the driver stop in between us... so angry. for your infor we were just 3 steps away from each other.

I am always the only one giving seats up to preggie ladies, kids or old ppl. around me everybody pretend to be blind. sigh.. hang in there ladies!

Ba Chang? they make me bloated leh.. i can only eat half then give up liao!

well.. mayb these few years really too many pregnant women around liao hahaaa... Before i got pregnant found that most of the time when there is preggie woman on train, i'm the one giving up seat while others jus teh gong.. 久而久之 i also start getting sian or scared of seeing them on train hahaa..

Abt taking train, I have long gave up hoping for seats.. one terrible incident was I was on train with hubby and since I was wearing a tight dress my tummy was rather obvious and ppl seated just kept staring at my tummy and started to sleep while I was feeling so tired and almost lost balance as well.. A China guy even took the seat in front of me when it was finally empty.. Ended up Hubby so angry that he pulled me out of the train to take a cab instead =P haiz~

I love glutinous rice oso like Nonya Chang and Lor Mai Kai, but they r v sticky & difficult to digest. Try to cut down & if can't resist gotta drink more water.

ya, somehow appetite slow down alot in the sense that very hard to find food that i really crave and can eat alot. always eat a lil and then "sian" already, cannot down anymore. even water (which i used to gulp all day easily) is hard to swallow sometimes..

so far i dun dare to eat one whole ba chang on my own, scared too oily my digestive system cannot take it. so i just pinch pinch here and there. nonya chang is my favourite too!!!! yes, i seem to enjoy taking sandwiches since my first tri. somehow tastes better than food with MSG. and the salad in sandwiches is refreshing for the taste buds.
 
nowadays no gentleman in spore de la...so couldnt expect too much.. so far is my gf will snatch sit for me to sit instead. haha... for work wise, lucky i'm working near my home. tat's y no need to face crowd too much..

If you are thin and bb start to get big must take care of your legs. cause my colleague she is thin and when her bb start to get big her legs cant support her weight and she fell down quite often. and ppl around her just look at her... without helping.

I agree with you, now tummy not so obvious, so people also paiseh to give up their seats in case they offend others of being fat. But bach then when my tummy was really big, people still teh gong loh ... so those people standing around me also shaked their heads.

i tink urs not heartburn.. i go read up the symptons its a burning sensation that flow between ur chest and throat, and wil hav a bitter/sour/acidic taste in your mouth. It ususally happens during 2nd/3rd tri when bigger tummy pushes ur stomach acid upwards.

Maybe is bcos of 12 chinese zodiacs. Some of my frds also prefer to have a baby in the year of rat. Cos next year is ox followed by tiger. Chinese belief baby born in the year of ox will have very bad temper and baby born in the year tiger will lead a very hard life.

haha peanut good way to gain weight is to eat durians n good quality dark chocolate.. hehe tips given by my doc cause i wasnt putting on any too :p

my boss's wife had lots of durian when she was preggie with one of her daughters and her daughter is really strong and sturdy!! that's why she always promote preggie ladies to eat durians!
 
eat durian in moderation. will put on weight and also cause some indigestion i think cause i had it a few times and each time i feel bloated...

peanut rats are known to be v mindful of their money too so rats are good at keeping money and can be quite laid back.. they need to be pushed to do things.. hehe i know cause my sister is a rat and she is excited to have a rat kid to play with her!

haru, my sis ate a lot of durians during preggie and nw my niece is not afraid of cold. So I always joke tat she's like a polar bear and we are like sun bears! I ate durian ice cream last night, at least it satisfied my craving but not so heaty.
 
Durians are also high in sugar so be careful ok? esp those at risk of gestational diabetes.

Minkybear, Jenn and Peanut, erm i beg to differ on rats having gd sense with their money cos both my mum and my sis are rats and they spend money like nothing! heehee.. Some ppl say Ox will slog for the rest of their lives while others say Ox very stubborn.. i don't really believe such things or else there would only be 12 main types of ppl in the world! if u count Western Zodiacs, then there are only 12 x 12 = 144 types of ppl in the world. :p
 
aiyah as long as not tiger good liao.. its the one with worst temper and character. Haa.. no offence if any of e people close to u are tiger.. my opinion is based on tigers that i know of.

hi mummies,
guess what? i felt a lil hungry aft work so end up went to eat a bowl of fish mee sua..feeling a lil bloated now, but hopefully e early meal will allow time for me to digest and avoid e indigestion i have been experiencing.=P
