(2008/10) Oct 2008

buffy, where in bangkokyour ILs bought it? My SIL going to bangkok tmrw, so if its in the town area maybe I can ask her to buy for me, the address in the web site seems quite far away.

mummies, I just realised an ex colleague's 4yo daughter is down with stage 4 Neuroblastoma cancer. So sad. Really, the girl's so brave to go through 7 chemos and still be cheerful. Don't wish this on any children, tantrums or not.

<font color="0077aa">mona: my ILs did not go to the factory because it was far away. They bought it at some retail places instead. I will try asking if they recall. There is another popular wooden toy brand - Wonderland or something. They also bought some cups and saucers set from this place. Let you know tomorrow?</font>

<font color="0077aa">Karen: oh dear... such sad news and she is only 4.

buffy

i love the colours of the train... maybe more for threading than for pulling... any idea roughly how much it cost in bKK?

karen

which church is jack neo from? new creation? a lot of artistes seem to attend that.

<font color="0077aa">dimpletot: yes, it is meant for threading and then used as a pull along toy. C gets frustrated trying to thread through and enjoys pulling it and terrorising our dogs more at the moment! Haha!

As for pricing, hmmm... I still have the box so I can take a look to see if the price tag is there. Should be a tad cheaper since the factory is in BKK? I asked my ILs to pick it up 'cos the shop at Raffles Exchange which I bought the stacking rings from (same brand) do not have this item. Another brand Cate uses is "Wan Ju"</font>

<font color="119911">vanilla,
no no, u don't have to apologize. I m juz feeling for the helplessness of the mom &amp; the pain of the gal

hey, I read the archives.
who stays near jpt?? I put my gal on wait list since 2008 on safra jurong LSH , she's still on wait list for next year. my first skool at jpt also super long wait list.

dimpletot,
Wooden toys in BKK are really really cheap. If I do go there, will really grab.

Mona,
Can get your SIL to go to chatuchak market to buy the wooden toys.

karen,
Yes! Let's go together. I also wanna bring Regina for the waterplay. Yay!

Hey Elch,

You might wanna consider this desk/bookcase combo for yr space problem! It's from Crate &amp; barrel in the US. Self-assembly. But shipping is as ex as the bookcase itself! I bought one recently and am quite happy with it!

<font color="0000ff">Springles,

Is that so?? U hv been on waiting list since 08? oh dear?! Then if I intend to place my boy there = no chance?? hmmmm</font>

no , i ddin't go IN to have a look, I just register to be on wait list coz there aren't many choices around the area. SO in the meantime im still looking. I also on wait list for cherie hearts in jurong. also NO vacancy.
today i tried MMI at lakeside, 2 hr
playgroup first time , ok but need to see if i can change my work schedule or get dad to bring her on one of the days where i work mornings.
Lilbluey - hmm can try la..i also not guaranteed if i can get a place. but i think the person i spoke to on the phone says very low chance.and Also its only coz i put her on wait list so long ago that they allow her to be on wait list, NOW they don't even take in wait list for next year

bigflamingo,
This really saves up space! You mean you bought it and have it shipped over? How much in total? Is it hard to install?

I wanna buy kitchen set too....and where can i find the hello kitty tea set?? i dun think kiddy palace has, i go there really often to let my gal run around...

<font color="119911">bluey,

there are many many sad things that happ, but no matter what there is always a rainbow in the end... we must believe in it

<font color="0000ff">Vanilla,

<font color="0000ff">Let's talk about happier things then...hmm else later the thread becomes soo gloomy &amp; moody...</font>

no, i didn't register for playgroup at LSH
AT LSH, they only take in full day coz got no space for even full day. They don't have playgroup at all. I register her for NEXT year when she turns 3 for childcare nursery.

my friend has a ELC pink kitchen set which my girl likes but i'm sure it costs a lot. I want to get something that is more neutral in colour incase I have a no. 2 and its not a girl...just in case la.

<font color="119911">bluey,
