woo... thread really quiet.
Let me share something
Last night Marcus crawled into MIL's room and was playing with her drawers. She was in the room after her bath blow drying her hair. Then he kiap his finger and cried very loudly. Got a small cut. MIL didn't want to carry him out and keep shooing. She even closed the door.
Pls lor... how big is a 5room flat? I can hear. So i just walked over and asked wat happen. She look so worried... like scared i scold her.
My response : Serve u right... who ask u play with drawers.
Oh well... toddlers mah. It's nobody's fault. Dunno why MIL so scared. I have not scolded her before.

my mom also abit worried when my bb hit her head and had a small cut. when she told me, she's also a little concern i am gng to like "shout" at her, but i had never leh (she's my mom!)... so i dunno what's gng on in their heads ... like u, rebby toddler mah and they are mischievous... so if they play n hurt themselves, serve them right lor...

hi jelly and XY..in my case, my mum worry my hb not happy his baobei hurt himself at my mum's plc. for me..sure will fall and hurt one right..which kid growing up dont hurt themselves?

Maybe they got this thinking, when our child injured while under our care, they will scold us, like, why u so careless, never look after them. etc.... so maybe when our kid injured when under their hand, they worried we will 'shoot' them back.
That day my father carried my ger to the dining table, after awhile, i asked my ger,
Me: Xuan Xuan, what u eating? (i never turn my head to see)

i mean... sure to have some small bumps, bruises and cuts. So... no use to kick up a fuss.
But if major injury and it's due to carelessness on caretakers part, sure kenna from me.

tat's y i always tell her abt Nat getting hurt under my care & ask her to help me monitor. then also take the chance to let her know tat i understand kids bound to have knock & bumps. most impt is to let me know so tat i can bring her to doc & have early treatment or i can monitor her.
I think it's impt to let caregiver know tat they must inform us of any injuries of our kids, no matter big or small.</font>

<font color="aa00aa">Mummies, thanks. Wenxuan is feeling much better today after we brought him to see his regular PD yesterday, able to sleep well last night. Think the medicine from the PD works well for him. Now hoping wenmin and hubby to recover fast. PD suggested us to sleep in different room but there's no spare room liao so the only way is to let wenxuan and wenmin sleep far apart from each other. When the kids are sick, I think my lifespan also shorten by a few years. Sigh!!! </font>
