my lil gal took her 2nd 6in1 jab yday.. 3hrs later got fever and her injection tight so red and sore. so heart pain.. & its so hard to feed her the liquid panodol, she puke everything out. lucky tis morning the temp went down. sighz.. anyone knows how long before the injection redness will go away?

safest if no new case of hfmd within the past 10 days from the last case. my boy so far caught hfmd 3 times..sigh..i'm a super lousy mommy..luckily mild symptoms, just like sore throat, uncomfortable when swallowing. nowadays i keep him at home whenever there are cases, scared already.

my boy caught the HFMD from his childcare too
think last Sep..
but we're not inform of the situation in the childcare till 3-4days later when more children got infected..made big complain about this!
I very KS, didn't send him back till almost 2weeks later when the childcare email to confirm everything's been cleaned &amp; sterilised..
it's a very painful disease to get infected with HFMD so if you can get someone to help u look after ur baby, it would do the baby good
my boy kept pointing to his mouth to show us it's painful, he couldn't eat &amp; drink..very heartpain

just my 2cents worth..sorry to interrupt!

you checked the ifc's experience &amp; history in containing hfmd? e.g. how many kids got infected previously, what measures they take when there's outbreak, etc - see if you're comfortable. bcoz hfmd spread by direct contact, so best if the teachers dont double up, classes kept separate no joint actys, for time being. if you hv help, then maybe no need to take the risk.

The job would get tougher at a later stage when your bb know how to crawl esp when cleaning the backside. Last time when I was dealing with my boy, sometimes I have to tell my maid to catch hold his legs for me. </font>

elchwong, no need to get diaper pants until they are at least "walking". otherwise like jellypurin said, very hard to wear for them.

Izzy got scalded yesterday! *sob* my MIL put her into her cot (we have an extra one that we put level with MIL's bed) and she wanted to lie down next to her, MIL pulled her hot water bottle underneath herself and the hot water bottle broke! Izzy's whole back was red, went to A&amp;E and they only washed with water and put a waterproof plaster over it. They said it will heal in a week and nothing else they can do. So sad...
