My hubby family name is Burdon, and we have to think of a middle name too. AND a chinese character name. We are going to use Bo (as in professor) as the surname in chinese character, then the name is Le(happy) Xuan(annoucement) but my hubby said Lexuan means 'female dog' in french. Aiyo, not only do we have to find a name that doesn't sound silly in english, mandarin & dialect, we also have to make sure it doesn't sound silly in french and german. I'm really having headache finding names.

Wah, i tot i very kiasu already by naming my bb. Dint noe that a handful of u had done so as well too. My girl's name is Claudia Li.

I'm now into my third trimester. Feeling tired very easily. is this normal? My baby seems to be active when i'm not moving ( Whenever i'm resting or sitting). Can feel her moving ard in my tummy and the frequency is getting more.

U so fast, got chinese name for your bb le. Mine stil got to wait for the birth time and chinese birth date to get my bb's chinese name. My dad say muz count the stroke of the chinese character of the name. so ma fan rite?

I wouldn't care how difficult nor easy to write the name, so long as the parents like it and its good for the child, i feel that its good enough le. But my MIL tinks otherwise, she says muz as simple as possible. But too bad, this is my bb, not her's.

Hi Littlealmond,

I'm looking at Medela Pump in style. But they are ex in singapore. Abt $700. But u can get it at $350 in USA. I didn't want to buy first incase no milk then very waste to get it so ex.

Maybe u can go read the reviews on this pump. I had seen it at the recent motherhood fair and it seems to b selling like hotcakes here.

My coll was telling me that Tangs now selling it at $590. If u want, u may want to grab one there.

Gynea plays an important role during our pregnancy and all the way till we give birth. it is not advisable to change gynea esp when we were so comfortable with him/her. Anyway, we will be staying in the hospital for abt 2 days and after that, we will be home already.

Forest, I also bought the Pigeoon BPA free at Taka, only wide neck available, yellowish color. JJmom where u bought urs?

For the medele bottle i think i need to wait, coz plan to buy PIS, smtimes they will package with the storage bottle also.

JJmom, is it correct that the stardard neck bottle can fit the medela pump?

Diane,

I saw a handful of chinese( singaporean) staff at the delivery ward and maternity ward as well. Opps, could they ( the foreign staff) went into hiding when they noe there's a hospital tour?

I tink its rather common to have foreign staff in hospitals coz there is always a shortage of nurses in singapore. What i'm looking at is the enviroment and their service and i'm good at complaining and spreading of words. hahahaha!!!!evil rite?
