hello morning!

Induce
It's not painful when induce. On drip only, gynae will come burst water bag to see if bb poo inside. That is my case. During induce, when feel slight of contraction, i ask for epidural. Then wait for dilate only. Just the waiting time can drag. Do not let ur hubby go home to change if not yet dilate cos anytime will open fast. Within 2 hrs, dilated from 5 to 10cm.

Dypers
CL said this is no good, quality no good. True, i saw it. Pampers is better, best is mammy poko

Sore nipple
This morn, realised another B bleed while pumping. I cant BF at the moment, should be latch. Both side when pump, bleed. CL said cant give bb when it bleed. TMC nursery nurse called last night to check us, i was advised not to feed bb if there is blood. So, now give formula milk while manual hand express to release engorge.
Do check when u pump to see if there is blood, cos once latch, bb drink the blood milk, bb will vomit and diarrhoea. Piece of advise, must latch bb in right position. Maybe i didnt lor.

Day 2 nighttime
Gave pacificer to bb in midnight cos she looking for nipple. Latch her last night, fall sleep still find. In the end, give her pacificer, then she sleep
 


Morning mummies,
I've got a hand me down Avent steriliser. Do I have to descale it before using? If so, how do I do it? Wish to desclae it before I pop...

Good Morn Mummies!!

Went for my check-up yesterday and took the strep B test! OUCH!! Cannot imagine during labour they check for dilation how painful it would be! -_-" My boy gained another 200g for the past 1 week! He's now 3.2kg!! But i didnt gained any! Dr Adrian asked if i drink any milk, but i stopped for very long already cos worried bb might b too big. Hopefully i still can go for natural delivery, getting more and more gan jiong!

JJMom, my hb used to be on shift work. But he requested for temp. day shift starting frm my 3rd trimester cos scared i might suddenly go into labour!

Who was it who asked abt the wireless internet at TMC huh? Its not free, hv to pay one!

The other day my hb said if i want i should indulge with watever i wanna eat now, cos during confinement it would be torture for me :p So we were thinking to go eat at Shangri-la The Line buffet! But who knws its fully-booked for tonight! Wanted to go Conrad Oscars but then again its F1 and road blocks + traffic jams!! argh~~~

JJMom- Wld you like me to ak my CL to standby for u after doing for me? She came recommended by my fussy fren who used her for 2mths for each of her 3 kids. Am not sure how good she is but should be ok I suppose. I deliver on 2 Oct, and will get her in when ger ger comes home from hosp - maybe 2nd or 3rd wk of Oct... depending on the timing, she may or may not be able to do it. When I called her yesterday, she was really excited and said she will go home (JB) today from KL to await my news. Seems responsible. She is charging me S$1.8k for 28 days (+ 2 APs). No promises lah.. but I can sound her out for you.

popping in for a quick one in between duty. Was at Paddock Suite till past midnight last night, and started yesterday real early at Doc Wong's at 9am. Then went to work before noon.

Anyway, bb Kate is doing well, about 2.9kg, and in the right position. Doc Wong gave the all clear for f1 - which means Kate will not pop in the next few days cos I'm still at zero dilation. phew.

super looking forward to f1 ending, although it was quite exciting yesterday, but real tiring overall.</font>
 
Hi mommies!

Morning!!!

Yesterday I had very regular contractions from 5pm all the way until 10:30pm! They were at 15 mins interval... wah very uncomfortable... like having menses... so I went to do abit of cleaning to the house and took a shower... just in case I'm really going into labour mah!!! hahahahaha... BUT everything ended after I showered lor. Hahaha... so went to sleep instead

i jsut got home frm the 37th week chk.. and same as usual.. sitting up and looking at the world. So scheduled last chk on 6th &amp; C-sec on 8th @ 4.30pm. My gynae also praying that he will turn down... she dun wan to c-sec.. haiz....

<font color="aa00aa">Just came back from my last checkup before my c-sect on next Wed. My bb gal is losing weight! She is now weighing about 3kg nia. Obviously heartburn is the main culprit! Gynae said it is ok and estimated birth weight should be between 3-3.3kg. </font>

Mummies, do take lots of fish to increase ur milk supply. My mum cook cod fish and salmon fish on alternate days for me during preggie. And now i oso taking fish everyday. Good for me and good for bb.

Sore &amp; bleeding nipples:
My hubby bought a silicon nipple shield for me ( Pigeon brand) and its really good whenever my nipples feels sore.

Per day is $5.10- unlimited in and out. FOC if hubby comes at nite.
 
Hi ladies,
Just went for my check this morning. I'm at 36 weeks now and bb's weight is 2.7kg. Water level was low during checkup so had to go to the labour ward to do a CTG. Luckily bb's heartbeat and movement all ok. Doc says need to drink more water and to rest more. Strange leh.. Have been at home most of the time the whole week since my ML started. Maybe do things around the house etc to prepare for bb's arrival. So now got to take things slow and easy.

I'm also back from my checkup... all's ok.. we listened to bb's heartbeat and its normal.. Gynae said my bb's lying more to my left.. which is why my tum tum is always slanted lor.. hahhaha.. :p

oh yes... i visited Purebliss!!! And saw both Baby Giselle and Danielle!! They are really cute.. and look alike!! I've taken some pics to share with you all... :p

Baby Giselle - she was sleeping so soundly in the nursery when i popped by... so sweet!! kekeke...

Baby Danielle - at first, i cant see her at the nursery.. kekek.. then Purebliss asked the nurse, and they pushed her out for me to see.. :p not long after, she started crying and is hungry for milk.. kekeke.... also such a sweetie eh!!

Anyone interested in personalized CDs ? It's CD of songs whereby they will read/sing out your bb's name in it. They have nursery rhymes, bible stories/songs, etc. It is currently retailing at $25. I've spoken to the supplier and they are willing to give us a disc of 20% if we hit a MOQ of 30pcs. Currently I'm consolidating from the Aug thread.

How it works is that, you first check for the name of your bb from the website to see if they have the name you want. Then you choose what CD you want. They will give us a promo code to enter so you can order from website directly for them to mail it out to you. But you need to order min 2 CDs per location. If you only want to order 1 CD then you can PM me to tag onto my order and then I will mail it out to you or you can collect from my place. I think postage should be $1-2 (I'm not sure).
