Nadia
Nadia has been teaching yoga since 2004. Ever since her frst teacher training with Baron Baptiste, she has enjoyed the practice as a student and a teacher. Over the years yoga has been the greatest tool that has empowered her. For Nadia, her practice is meditation in movement, a sacred part of life which teaches her the value of the physical body that houses her essence. Each one of her practices is valuable in creating awareness and gratitude. Through her asana practice she feels physically strong and whole, an experience for her that is unlike any other, derived from other forms of physical exercise, that she was
involved with in the past. The holistic practice of yoga with its many elements, helps her emotionally to make better decisions, especially now as a mother.
‘Teaching yoga is my passion. The gifts that I receive through my practice I enjoy sharing with my students. I enjoy seeing people transform their lives through this unique practice.‘
Nadia has studied with Baron Baptiste and completed the highest level of teacher training in Power Vinyasa Yoga. She’s also certifed in POET (Pain and Orthopedic evaluation) and Tibetan Yoga. Over the years she has studied with many other teachers who have guided her in understanding and appreciating the vast knowledge of Yoga. She continues to take trainings and immersions with many senior teachers.
She has also taught pre natal and post natal yoga, and for that, her intention has been to empower women during pregnancy and beyond. Her classes are mostly fow based and customized to the needs of the group she teaches.
Nadia is also a certifed Holistic Health Counselor.
Nadia is very thankful to all her teachers and students who continue to inspire her on this journey.
Hence, Nadia would be good for our group as we have people like me with scoliosis (she is trained in Pain and Orthopedic evaluation) and she teaches both pre and post natal classes.
Cost: $140 to be divided amongst the # of mummies who are keen (hence I am hoping we get 5 - 7 pax). The room she has allocated for us can take up to a total of 13 pax.
The room has AC but during the practice, they will be using fans instead.
Lastly, this comes to our playgroup. Nadia has kindly offered me the use of her studio for our informal playgroup as well as for my signing sharing. For mummies who are NOT keen on Yoga, you guys OK to meet for a short session - one hour before? 'Cos we need to use the studio at 11am.
