rei, that's the stupid thing. they dun allow discount on net priced items, so can't use it to buy cot. so far, the only big items i wanna buy from there are sleeper unit and cot organiser. maybe can also buy the fisher price rocking chair for infant to toddler. can i use discount card to buy maternity pads?

yup as what vone said, just buy more of the big bottles. Babies will outgrow the small bottles v fast.

The Pigeon PES bottles that I got from Isetan Private sale are also like that, abit yellowish. I got the bigger bottles though ;)

oh. but that is good enough. cos at mothercare i can only get 15% for avent products. which means, maybe i should get my steriliser, pump and warmer now.
 
celyn, i will be getting the pump, milk bots and steriliser sometime next mth when robinsons or isetan has 20% sale. from what i noticed, robinsons has sale so often, so i'm in no hurry to buy. then at mothercare, i'll get the stroller and bb carrier while the discount is still valid.

val, vone, how many bots did u get? i'm gonna use avent, and i think they got 4oz and 9oz. how many of each to get, considering i'm leaving bb with in-laws? haven't worked out a system yet, but hopefully dun have to buy too many. i heard the teats also must change quite fast as bb will outgrow them.
 
vone, thanks for the info. 2 small bottles enuf huh... scared bring him out dun hav enuf bottles to feed meh... U know sometimes, if go back mum's place once a week like the whole day, there is no sterlizer, 2 bottles wont be enuf rite unless I breastfeed lor.. but dunno got enuf milk or not... :)

one of my fren just gave birth and she say din kena any stretch marks and mentioned abt genes. So if your mum had it before, most prob you will have it. Think my mum had it, so me maybe also lor... U know if ur mum had it?

I think you must take good rest and good care now.I read somewhere that if carrying twins then from 24th week onwards we must try to take good bed rest..your contractions now must be Braxton Hicks..but if its too frequent and have back pain or any unusual discharge then I think its good you report to doc.. tke care lah..

just got a call from kk. my test result is no good, a bit high. so going back on mon for a diet course from 9am - 5pm. and the course cost about $300+ sigh....

no lah, if drink BM or FM, it's ok. But the thing is not suppose to also feed bb purely just water. Coz they have enough h2o from our BM or the FM already.

Just came back from gynae checkup! Baby is bouncing away and at 24 weeks, he weigh 733grams! Rata can help to update?

hisstory,
during every visit the gynae would do a urine test to check for sugar. For my case, sugar was found in 2 seperate occasions. So my gynae said just to be on the safe side to take the glucose test.

Why I was not being test for glucose test at all by drawing blood? Got to ask gynae why during next appt. I only did normal urine test every visit.
 
hey, mommies who go robinsons sale, pls let us know if there is anything worth getting. normally, for such sales, how is it different from the current sale going on at the 2 retail stores? i went down to raffles city robinsons today and still see most bb pdts at 20% off.

Every medical appointment, I have to measure BP, weight &amp; urine test (test for glucose &amp; albumin). So far only did one blood test at 20th week, which was to test for infection &amp; diseases.

Yesterday waited for 20 mins then only spoke to the gynae for 5 mins, scanned &amp; saw bb. Everything is ok, so very fast. Only mentioned my placenta just abit low, but not an issue. He mentioned later on will move up. BB's head down since last month. But in the evening, had a little nose bled...

like catherine, i was tested positive on 2 occasion for my regular visit. so gynae want me to test. also my mum is diabetes, the chance of me having is higher too.

It is the comfy. Madamme though is thicker than the kotex but it is very comfortable. I was recommended by my cousin and true enough it is comfortable. After using that when i had to use kotex, i was quite frustrated and scolded my hubby for buying the cheap brand but he was telling me Madamme not available in minimart. No choice....
