cindy, i wear office slippers now ever since i changed to closed toe shoes. i also spray some deodorant around the shoe area so it won't stink up my cubicle.
btw, do u find that your shoes become tight after u try to wear them? i almost couldn't walk that day after one whole day at work wearing slippers!

u also just engage a maid? ya, no time to choose liao. they need time to come over and train them. my mil offered to bulk over when the maid arrives so she can help me monitor the maiad while i sleep late. my place is not big, just that it's double storey and i hate having to go to the staircase area to shout. my maid will sleep at the first storey while baby n i will be on the 2nd. if i need help at night, how? sigh
then my mil ask me to do the night shift alone then she will help me do the day shift with the help of the maid. wah......i don;t want my lifestyle to turn to that of a dracula man
then it;s more like i;m getting a maid to help her n not me lei. still haven figure out how to work this timing issue yet

sabbath, my hubby and i have a dog also, but she's with my in laws coz' their house bigger and more space to run. in future, our bb will also be put at their place during the day. hoping both can co-exist as we're afraid dog's fur will affect bb. also not good to keep on switching on aircon to avoid opening the doors.

Payment queue, tho v long, but moved pretty fast.
Btw saw quite a number of preggies (tummies bigger than mine) cheong to the sale too!
Anyway din manage to shop around much cos too many pple..cannot walk freely or choose properly..and I got tired sooo easily! haiz..

The isetan SA showed me the mini and the swing jus now.
Mini has got a noisy motor sound but the swing is much quieter.
So far the reviews for the swing is quite positive. Oni prob is dat BM may accidentally reflow back to the tube and it doesnt seem easy to clean it thoroughly, nor can we sterilise it.

I think they kept all the sterilisers in the storeroom behind the combi display area which is v near the Pigeon section.
You can request the promoter that you want the steriliser set, she give u a memo and you pay at cashier. Then you bring back the memo and receipt to her for collection. So that you don't have to lug the steriliser to the cashier. That's what I did.
You can call isetan to check if they still have stock before you go down.

I think the fisherprice rainforest mobile was selling ard $99-$100 at kiddy palace and isetan original price is $102. But I bought at $69.90 just now. I know some June'08 MTB had organised some spree to buy from USA, quite cheap but I just wanted to buy anyway since on offer alrdy.

i chose fri afternoon so that those working mum who wanna join us only need to apply 1/2 day leave, then can continue to enjoy their wkend liao lor.
seriously speaking hor, both courses need alot of parent's commitment.
u gotta do lotsa home practices, its to train their rite brain (memory and speed).
kindermusik is gd, my gal really benefit from attending the class for 1 yr.
can see her sensitivity and interest in music.
but it will be expensive to send her to both courses, so we dropped kindermusik lor.

She said she would check then she passed me the fisherprice one, asking me if want to consider this one while she went to look for the tinylove one. End up I bought the fisherprice cos it's cheaper and hv more music selections. Called my friend who told me the toys hanging on the fisherprice one, can take out if don't want.

The tiger food jar that you got...is it the one that can cooknporridge type? I remembered someone mentioned about one type tiger brand that can put boiled rice and then it will turn to porridge and easy for baby food prep.

I too am expecting twins- a boy and a girl. coincidentally I too am seeing S F loh..My EDD was initially 30th Aug..on my last visit he tld me that i can expect anytime by the 9th or 10th of Aug...So hw r u coping with multiple pregnancy? Do u have somebody to help around??As for me we are still looking out for a maid..my hb and me sharing the work now..but somedays I am very very tired and down with back pain..u take care..

I was looking at the box, don't see it say the food jar can cook porridge but can store porridge and have a top container that can store solid food. Thought of getting it in case bring bb out for dinner, then bring bb's food in it. Saw some mummies do that when I was eating at Ajisen.
The model I got was this, mine is the 0.7L and comes with stainless steel spoon:

the FP Rainforest mobile is good buy. Even if go to US to buy, it will still cost ard S$50. If join spree, it will be more bcoz need to add shipping cost.

i have a fren which complain abt the tube thingy in dr.brown's bottles. She say quite troublesome to wash. Especially my fren is clean freak, so she always scared dunno got milk deposits or whatever stuck inside the tube or not. So finally she changed to another brand liao (but i forgot what's brand).

If it's restaurant, i think we need a kids friendly place coz some is bring their kid along. and also the restaurant must be able to accept booking coz got quite a number of us. (i remember valnsw said Swensens' don't allow reservation booking during weekends).
Soooo....I can't think of any restaurants that fits our requirement lah. Thus, I can only think of either Megan's condo or my condo.
If you all don't mind coming to Simei, I can offer my place for the gathering.
hee....actually I had just booked my condo's function hall just now...keke..I kiasu, just booked it first.
There is a small playing area (with slides n stuff) at my condo and also got a kiddy pool. Thus mommies can let their kids play there if you want.

Went to isetan today .. I won't say I bought alot of things cos already got most of the bigger ones. Today bought 5 pcs of petite bateau clothes which were on 30%. 2 Pigeon PES bottle. 1 Nuk glass bottle. 2 boxes of pigeon disposable breast pads, 1 packet of pigeon cloth diapers. tongs, Pigeon teat .. hmmm .. thats about all. Abit like dono what I buying. hahaha. Didn't buy anything for myself thou

I also went to the isetan sales today...It was madness. Everybody buying like its free!!! hahaha! But for me, its still expensive thou after discounts..probably coz its branded? I got quite pissed off with Combi cos i saw from ISETAN website it was 20%+5% so i called up isetan to check whether its 25% (member) including the stroller. The staff told me YES. So i rushed down to isetan just to pick up 'the good deal'..but upon reaching there, i found out its only 10%!
Same as every sale what!
Felt so cheated.... Anyways, bought the 4.2kg lightweight stroller at $362 after discouunt...
