some time back, you ask about the thermal cooker right. i try again last week but cook over fire for 1 hour then put in. after about 7-8 hours, still got smoke when i open and it taste much better liao. meat also softer. i still heat up before i serve lah.

mrsteng, why do u need to bring table cloth?
There are abt 5 or 6 tables there for sitting around to eat... will have chairs as well... a rectangle table set aside for cake lor... every year the mgt will put in a small christmas tree, about adult height... but not sure this year have or not... I will update nearer the date if have...

Any suggestions?

Also, do you need a place to "deposit" the toddlers so that the parents can eat in peace? I have 8 haenim playyard barriers and some big foam mats... but so many kids, may need more playyard barrier... anyone stay nearby can bring theirs as well to create bigger play area for toddlers?

side track - yes know about the kitty lab. will be going. but havent decided which date. i checked need to buy ticket for bernice cos they say as long as she's walking must buy ticket. also it's only limited to 2 hours inside

re: bouncy castle
i rented for my godson bday before. it's VERY noisy cos of the fan that is constantly blowing into it. I won't recommend it. If really want to spend the money i rather think we get a mascot or entertainer.. or rent some littke tikes slides/toys instead.

RE: Bouncy Castle

I'm strongly against it for simple reason ~ babies are still too young for it.

Although I did not go for the baby bash in Aug, but after reading all those post about the bad incident, I dun think it's a good idea to have that. The gym was already small to begin with, a bouncy castle is even smaller. Imagine a few babies are in there, and one started to cry. Den parent get worried, try to reach for baby, imagine how many babies gonna be hurt with that strong arm. Have we learn a bad lesson from the bash?

And dun forget there's bigger kids. The castles has bouncing effect, one big heavy weight kid bounce on it, the smaller ones will fly off the castle.

My suggestion ~ those small little plastic roller cars, dun know what's the formal name. Those where kids push themselves forward. Those babies who has it, just bring along. WHY? kids like new stuff ~ they see their own, they won't play but they see new ones, they'll go crazy. They need not just ride on it, all they'll do is sit next to it and try to explore the 'so-call' new toy. I believe 8 to 10 volunteers are enough.

Next, the walker cum play station ~ know lots of the babies are already walking.. but trust me, same concept, "New toilet bowl good to use" Kids will just love it. They probably want to bulldoze their way around.
