Thanks thanks, will try those methods...and persevere with feeding her fish,...that notti gal..so cranky today..think maybe 2nd tooth coming out...hiaz..

Dear all,
reading about all your BBs eating is so interesting,
for our #3, still no chance for him to finish 2 scoops of Brown Rice cereal,
he'll either not open his mouth,
or he'll open his lips but shuts his "bo gay" gums, then BLOW the cereal out of the spoon...
Tried creamy & watery ones... sama sama...
Had been trying for 2 week with same result,
ended up my elder 2 will be queuing to finish the cereal... hehe...
(Nothing goes to waste??)
Interesting thing is,
he don't mind eating grains of rice,
I fed him 2-4 grains at a time,
he'll just keep asking for more...
Bits of white bread too.
I was telling hubby,
our #3 skipped his Stage 1 food...

Ladies,
This morning i saw one bottle of EBM in the warmer and i feel so heartpain coz i know this bottle of BM will ended up in the drain. *sigh*
Last nite, my mil want to take care of my girl and i have casually tell my mil that my ger most of the time will only drink milk after passed 6am if she woke up. If before that, just give her pacifier and she'll fall asleep again. I think my mil must be seeing her move and quickly give her milk. Sometimes this oso happen in the day and had wasted lot of ebm liao. *sigh*
Yesterday when i'm bak home, my mil told me my #2 fall from bed! Luckily there's no injury as my girl fall face down with her hand cover on her face/ forehead.
Then at nite before sleep, she was bit cranky and refused to sleep on her own , need some pat pat. Hope tonite she'll sleep on her own again.

RE: Adding meat..
I added meat like pork and fish for the taste in the porridge for my ger...Pork I dun let her eat, just for the taste of the soup based..Fish, I let her eat, she kin dof like the chewing feeling lor...Everyday for her lunch, we make sure that there are 2 types of vege in her porridge, carrot n potato or brocoli with pumpkin, or spinach with potato or brocoli with "ying cai"..So far, her poopoo ok lor =).

BabyCupid, it was my hb's idea to share only during CNY. For our #1, we shared with our parents and grandparents once we knew... but with our extended family and friends at 7 weeks after we saw the heartbeat, because mine was a suspected etopic preg case... I'm just relieved I had not shared it with my colleagues because I really need a place to go to.. where people treat me normally, so t hat life can still go on.

ya, for #1, i opened an ac for him, with my name as he's too young, then when he goes to P1, i uses this same account for the school fees, as the Govt will give him a lump sum each year for the Edusave account, can use to pay school fees, excursions & so on. we also encourage him to do house work at home, and we will " pay" him salary, and he uses his " salary" for his recess, now he's getting lazy, as my sis will give him $10 from time to time, so he thinks he has alot of money at the moment, no need to "work"
i find that teaching him the value of money is good, he learn to think before he buy anything, 1 time he was at the food court, wanted to buy his favourite food, roti prata, but this stall was selling $1/piece, and he goes like:"my school only sell $0.60 each", he actually asked the stall owner to cancel the order.

yup.. mil said she yest feel v xin tong also, then she clean with water and put moisturer.
this morn my boy still scratching. yest he scratch until his face bleed with a couple of small marks. we apply steriod cream liao..
today cont with barley cereal n monitor.. if symptions still continue then have to stop the cereal. in the meantime no new food until ensure tat barley cereal is ok.

But hor, very sad, my hubby have to work on New Year Eve and 1st day of CNY. Can only return on 2nd day. So basically i'm stucked with 2 kids at my PIL's house.</font>

Can i know since what age you started teaching ur son about the value of money? Like cannot spend unneccessary and using his own pocket money to pay for something he want, 'work' to get 'salary'?
I bought a coin box for my #1 before she's 1 yr old and let her try putting the coin in. And everytime will tell her need to save $$. Then now when she's able to save up to $20, my MIL or hubby wil bring her to deposit in her bank acc. As we open OCBC mighty saver, every $20 deposit will get a small gift, but i think my girl seems like cannot really understand the value of $$ yet leh. I'm not too sure whether my teaching is incorrect or she's too young to understand.</font>

i changed new notes from DBS - they have the $500 pkg ($200 of $2 notes and $300 of $10 notes) + red packets. their red packets this year quite cute!
