guess bb this age is like that de lor..my ger also abit blad behind and her hair bery rough and frizzy leh..Any advise which type of shampoo i shd use for her? She is using kodomo now..

just bought the Heinz rice cereal. going to let him try tomorrow. anything i shd be concerned abt? i know have to give him v runny cereal. must mix into his milk or can i feed him just the cereal with spoon?
 
feifei, I not sure leh, coz we still bath her with top to toe from J&J. I will let her bath normal bath and shampoo only when she knows how to sit properly.

For my son, my hb bought NTUC babies shampoo (smells yucks) but his hair is soft and smooth.

According to my MIL and my mum, rice cereal start 4-7 mths and porridge start at 1 year old.

Rice cereal can be mix with water or mix with milk. BM or FM also can.

My MIL says TV state bb need to sleep at 8pm. But my bb can only sleep much later as we need to fetch him from my MIL house back home. Then early in the morning around 6.30am have to fetch him out liao. no wonder he is always cranky, must be not enuff sleep.
 
my mil just called me to say she wanna make porridge for my boy tomorrow! scary... maybe porridge water? i better ask later..

To make it clear. My mum says bb too young to disgest rice cereal. So, for a start, shld drink the rice porridge water.."umm"(in hokkien). Let her sip the water, not eat the rice yet. Then slowly intro veg/fruit puree...the maybe 5 months or so then let her eat rice cereal....
Many different views....also dunno what is correct. hahaha
 
hmm.. duno oso.. but i listening to pd.. pd said best time is 6mth unless bb lost interest in milk and not growing well.. den no choice.. rice cereal..

and she oso gave me a chart stating the food allergies.. which is the least cause allergies and most cause allergies.. so jus follow lor.. peanuts eggs and duno wat mus intro after 1 yrold..
 
Star, if you do Gap spree again, roughly how long is the leadtime for the stuff to come in to SG? Helping BonJovi ask, coz she need to get some winter clothes for her overseas trip early next mth.

Bought it at taka baby fair. Its the Bumbo seat.

Talking about that seat. She loves it. Now dun wan her bouncer liao..want to seat upright. Buay tahan her,maybe she wanna feel like grown up...hehehe

Bb grow out of the bumbo seat very quickly. My ger oso cannot use liao. Keep struggling and will attempt to stand up. V.dangerous cos might flip sideway or backwards.

Yup, rice cereal can be mixed with water or BM...But for frisocream, its milk based so no need to add milk, just add water will do. For Heniz, have to add milk to it =)...

My ger always sleep at 8pm, then wake up for milk at ard 1am or 3am lor..then sleep til 8am...Me tinking of adding a scoop of cereal to her milk during the last feed to make her more full so can sleep throughout the nite..

No thanks needed lar but I paisei cant stay long to chat wif u. last min hb called me when my train abt to drive into yishun stnt asking me where I was, when I told him I at yishun mtg u, he said he is almost reaching hm (khatib) so will come &amp; pick me up instead cos he waiting at the taxi stand outside the yishun stnt, hence I ve to hurry, if not can chit chat wif u ley. Yes, let’s chat longer next time.

Er...she will have her milk at either 7+pm or 6+pm, then change her into her pj plus washing her bum and wipe her "drumsticks" and body, then we on aircon, dim the lights, then will play with her for awhile, then when she wants to go sleep, she will turn her head left and rite many times..Tink she trying to get a good position to sleep, then sometimes dun wan pillow, sometimes wan carry awhile b4 she sleep...then we pat her, sometimes she will started at me lor, then i will talk to her, ask her go sleep so can grow bigger, then can bring her go walk walk, buy things for her...then give her pacifier, she suck awhile while we pat her, then sleep liao =D..

But recently i realised her gums like bery itchy at nite, she will twist here n there, make those bery xinku noise lor, then i will apply the teething gel for her, then she quiet down and smile lor =)..Then i will tell her" mummy know u xinku cos teething ya, but ren yi ren cos have teeth liao then can eat together with daddy and mummy"...hee

tink u can try to dim down the lights, make it a routine for her lor..then she knows time to sleep liao...Soemtimes my ger will keep on talking there, dun wan to sleep..then we will tell her its nitetime, must sleep de..Soemtimes feel like she understands..hee
 
Crystal, not only you hor, my hb also expect me to reach on time and go. But hor, he can dilly dally, let pple wait for him. He used to be very bad (late for more than half hour) but after being with me, he improves a lot, hee.

Feifei, you apply olive oil to her hair, it can soften, coz my mil told me to apply for my gal. Other thing is when she is older like 6mth, can apply a bit XO wine to her head and hair, best dilute with little water. So her hair can be soft and black.
 
my boy's routine is oso.. milk at 8+ den clean body face change diaper change to slp wear.. den go rm play awhile.. dim light.. pat pat.. zzzz.. at ard 9+..

feel so pampering over here.. HB was getting more busier ever since he been promoted recently and we hardly get to talk. Whenever I put the kids to sleep, he was attached to PC doing his work stuffs. By the time I finish housework and about to knock out he still on the PC.. Knowing he is also tired and stress, that why I didnt tell him much and keep everything inside lo.

Feifei, answering your question, I am a SAHM. Though can be very fufilling to take care of kids myself with my own ways and able to give them all the attention &amp; love BUT there is always a kind of "lost" thing inside. I am used to be a very busy working woman and place everything behind before having kids. Now is a totally change of priority. So I still hope to go back work force.. been looking for position lately too

Was thinking when got the opportunity then tell HB hahah "xian zhan hou zhou" But I believe HB should be supportive since I will be bring extra $$$ home too.. Though he still prefer me to take care of the gals..

olive oil is those can be bot frm NTUC kind huh?She has lots of hair liao, just that its too rough lor..will it be too oily?When she was just born, her hair so soft and smooth lor..duno y not so rough..hiaz..

i gather i know wat u meant abt "lost" thingie but i laggi worst, can tahan even the confinment period. feel like everyday dun ve any accomplishment type cos the things we do at hm for kid(s) are non-tangible. unlike at wk, u can pin down exactly wat has been done or wat hasnt. so then, i couldnt wait to get back to wk force but now back liao, daily i battle internally wif the guilt i ve abt leaving my bb at hm &amp; spend oni a couple of hrs wif her at nite...*wry smile*

Its like this. When back to work will tends to worry about baby doing. But when at home confine so long will feel so tired so crazy and no OWN time.. no annual leave nor sick leave nor bonus hahah!

Ya hard choice. But been a SAHM for 2years ever since the birth of my #1. So more or less adjust myself. But having 1 more now is trying to come terms and accepting it. Somehow still wan to have some achievement for myself lo.

Some may last till 6mths but some may last till 1yr. For me my last 1 last for 1yr. I think quite heng is no sign of any bald.. just not so thick...
