MLP, i think maybe ur bb latching interval is short, thus drink little each time = pump little as per bb demand bah?
 


<font color="aa00aa">shycloud/ riz, i dont actually do anything to increase my BM, but i think during confinement is the critical period to establish our BM lor. Tat time i drink lot lot of soup and eat lot of fish too. Plus i oso pump every 3 hr during the 1st month.
I believe water intake very important lor, especially warm type. There's once i was out almost whole day and din take much water then at nite my BM decrease immediately. Now, i drink lot of plain water and sure will take one cup of milo during tea break. Btw, i ate a lot too (coz keep feeling hungry), maybe tats why can expressed more kua.

You shld told ur collegue, we are not comparing just sharing and maybe if got extra can use for facial. hehe.....
In fact the oth day i was telling my husband maybe i can use those frozen BM to soak my feet coz i prefer my ger drinking fresh BM. But seem very wasted lor.</font>

dun intend to bring her to pd yet... cos she dun seem to be in any discomfort... she does fart now and then... and she is on total BM... we did bring her to pd b4, abt 2 mths ago when this infrequent pooing started. but pd said she is not constipated at all... but cld be absorbing the bm well... i asked issit becos she not drinking enuf... pd said no... to judge drinking enuf or not from the number of nappies and color of urine passed... and her urine color is ok... so for me its jus a waiting game.

i think i agree wif u... the early days is the best time to establish ms... i was like u pumping every 3 hrly oso. dun wan oso cant cos got engorged v fast. me like u now... eating alot!... :p i whopped down one whole mooncake this morning after i had my usual bread and milo for brekky...

1st day at work!!! so bz.. skipped my breakfast and not even a sip of water.. until 12pm my lunch! nw dozing off liao.. lol

But if your BB is on fully BM should be oki cos it is fully obsorb by the body . But too long never Poo is better to consult your PD !!

veniz, trial &amp; error lor but got maid not totally fuss free but it helps, but also stress cos mus make sure she do stuff correctly, sometimes if back fr ILs' plc too late hb &amp; me still need to do some of the lighter housework

soyabean, on total bm if more than a week still normal like wat ur pd said but dunno wat's the max. u can call the clinic to check if need to bring ur bb down. does ur bb's abdomen feel hard or soft wen u press lightly? if severe constipation will be quite hard. but bb will usu cry alot if uncomfortable/ not well

mrswrx, cant find unit no, but if take lift (from subway side) to level 3, walk straight then wen u reach the escalator area turn right. the shop will be on ur right, they sell clothes, have a few fitting rooms &amp; lots of clothes hanging down fr ceiling. It is the linkway between the 2 parts of far east. the other one we use for simple, simple &amp; inexpensive alteration is may's alteration on level 2 67327620

Initially he tot i eat because had been restricted to confinement food during the 1st mth, so too eager to eat oth food. But this happen everyday and once i even request him to go buy mcdonald for me after dinner. Now, he so used seeing me snacking here and there.
My only worry is afraid gain too much weight.</font>

for me, i hv been eating a fair bit too... my hb oso gets shock when i can snack immed after a meal... btw hv u lost all ur weight? i hv lost all... but still cant fit into all my clothes...
 
felicia, soyabean, my cousin was like tat, can eat dinner then order to ta-pow &amp; still lose weight. my appetite like normal but sometimes will snack a bit. No frequent hunger. i still have 2kg to lose but can fit into some of my old pants liao
 
me lost all the weight too.. but my shoes size increase 1 size and i cant put on my wedding ring! clothes wise ok.. but jus feel slightly tighter i tink bone expand lor..

But hor, my friend was telling me once i stop bfg, i had to ctrl my diet, else easily bounced back the weight. So scary!</font>

This is my 1st kiddo so didn't know must pump regularly during confinement. But that time i got try to pump also but not much milk and the pump(mini electric) too noisy n painful then. 1st time mummy blur blur oso. if i got 2nd kid, think will handle the situation better. but at least got bf bb mostly during the 1st 3 months while at home is not too bad liao.

nss, if my bb latching interval is short like every 1.5hrs. By right, I should pump every 1.5hrs issit?

I pump only once a day for the past month, not regularly, now only try to pump continuously every 3 hourly to boost supply. 'ling shi bao fo jiao' :p

You would be very busy if pump so freq. If bottle feed ebm, how long is ur bb feeding interval? Perhaps can use the balance of ur ML to pump frequently,i.e. 1.5hours to let ur body produce more bm. Then settle down to the 3 hourly pumping bah?

seems fenugreek not working well for me..

And tat time use manual pump, my hand was so tired from the pumping. Then my ss drop very fast and i totally stop bf after 2 weeks only. So, 3mths is very good liao. </font>

me like felicia... didnt know hv to pump religiously when i gv birth to my elder boy... that time ms cldnt meet his demand and had to supplement wif FM. so now this round i worked very hard to get my ms established.

actuali no secret tips leh... actuali if u wan, can engage malay massage again to do some sessions on weekends and see if it helps? i'm oso not back to my wedding weight... i hv abt 2-3kg more if i wanna achieve that.

wow... dats very good weight loss... i'm oso abt 1-2kg lighter than my pre-preg weight now. and like u, hips oso abit tight for some of my bottoms.
so are u using PIS now? i am now alternating betw PIS and avent manual. in fact, i prefer avent cos it allows me to choose the strength to pump. i will prob use PIS in office and use avent at home when i go back to work. cos PIS will save time, i dun wan to spend too much time pumping in case my boss dun like.

During confinemt time..MS is good..but still not as much as felicia ler..maybe i did it wrongly.cos i stop expressing once i got 125ml..cos it fills up the whole glass bttle..and i tot its enuf...now i realise i cld hv kept expressing..sigh....too late..plus tat 1mth+ i was super stress wif my maid issue...not enuf rest..cos change maid need to train from scratch..i nd to even sweep te floor to show her if not she sweep like she writing chinese calligraphy...

now tat i kana start work earlier than my original date..always miss the pumpin time..cos so busi...plus now is fasting month...jus hopin MS won drop tremendously

But really had to thks to my hubby and mil oso, coz for almost 2 mths after delivery, my baby was taken care by them during night, so tat i can wake up every 3 hr to expressed.
Yup, i'm using PIS. I chose PIS oso because on the consideration when come back to work. I want to save time oso.
About weight lost, though i'm lighter than pre-preggie but i'm still 4-5kg heavier from my 1st pre-preggie leh. </font>

when u break fast, take the chance to drink more water and replenish your body fluids...

yeah... the initial month was very tough... laden with bfg probs... engorgement, tiredness, sore and painful nipples... i even had mastitis once and had to be put on medication.

now i can keep up to 200-300ml a day of excess bm. this is causing my storage space problem...

im also 4kg lighter than pre-preggie. Not too gd 4 me cos i was already underweight pre-preggie. Somemore, i heard if lost more than pre preggie, the breast will be smaller than pre-preggie after we stop bf.

i also eating more. but would be watching out for diet cos i tend to snack on unhealthy food.

my boy has a swollen lymph node. removed already but still worried about long term side effect of GA affecting his development. only know about result of cell test after 2 mths. Praying hard he is ok.

i very slow. Usu 10 minutes right then left. Then back to 5 mins on right then left. Total 30 mins.
I still using manual pump. Sometimes, quite tiring.

jiayou jiayou. I was lucky cos a gd friend reminded me to pump immediately after discharge fr hosp. I agree tt first month muz wk hard at latching n pumping. try to relax. Everytime bb
sick, my ss also drop.

i stop using PIS for a while... cos it was giving me very bad and painful nipples... esp the right side, to the extent that i was pumping blood almost every time. so i started using hand express. then soon i realised i cldnt reali empty my breasts using that and i switc back to PIS. soon pain and bleeding haunt me again. and i took out my avent manual to use.

for 1st 2 mths, i was waking up at nite to pump and feed bb ebm... very tiring... i cldnt sleep more than 5 hrs every nite. past few weeks, i let my maid sleep wif my bb already, so she wakes up to feed her and i jus need to wake up to pump. less tiring...

i was gg through similar fate. waking up every 2 hr every night for 2 months was driving me nuts. i almost want to leave home, rent a hotel room and sleep in peace.

the reason y i can still sustain TBF despite already back to work is cos my gal small drinker..i dunno how long it can last if her intake increases soon...

does it help if i regain back to 3hrly pump? but i must endure the tiredness to wake up in the middle of the nite...
