went for my DS yesterday...aiyo....my BB very shy...kept hiding the face behind hands...after a few poke by the sonographer...managed to adjust and reveal the face...haha!

Hello starmoon, thanks for updating the details... Baby was 312g at 19w6d, my detailed scan... When are you going to see Dr Cheng again? My next appt was actually CNY so I brought it forward by a week , so will be seeing baby next Friday.. so happy. By then coming to 6 mths liao, tummy still so small...
Congrats on your Mickey.. 1 boy and 1 gal can close shop liao :p

Btw do you all experience pain in lower tummy now? These few days I been experiencing some pain in my lower tummy.. somtimes it's an ache, sometimes it's a sharp pain.. a while then it's gone liao...

do you keep waking up in the middle of nite? Started from last week, i keep wake up in the middle of nite. Though very sleepy, but still will wake up within few hrs loh. One nite i can wake up 2-3times leh.

Me me me! I was also asking about this ytd cos I felt either sharp pain or tugging pain at the lower tummy...I read somewhere last night that it's normal cos our ligaments and muscles pulling to accomodate enlarging uterus

I have aches at my tummy occasionally since 1st trim.. on and off, sometimes have sometimes no &amp; not same area. I tink is our pelvic bones etc are expanding. Unless the pain is intolerable and prolonged then better check with gynae.

I have this problem for 1 week plus - 2 weeks ored. Always wake up in the middle of night dunno bec of what.
 
Yesterday i attended the 2nd lesson of pre-natal class. Not bad, instructor teach about the labour pains and how to cope with it. But hear liao feel a bit scared leh.. trying to tell myself not to scared le.

The pre-natal exercises are quite good, last week i done and my backache has recovered.

my friend who is 6 months preggie now just went to rustic nirvana for pre-natal massage and she signed a pkg which can be used till post natal. she told me it's quite good. but i still a bit worried abt trying, maybe ask my gynae and if ok, i will give it a try.

I was actually thinking to go for post natal massage at Rustic instead of pre natal, cos not sure if massage has any effect on pregnancy.

i have checked with gyane liaoz, he say after 20 weeks can go ahead for massage, he say he recommend oso since its very relaxing for us especially those of us who are always sitting down or complaining of backaches, my fren tried their post natal and sang praises of them but for pre natal.. noone i knew of tried before.. im considering them since they are professionals and seems to be well reputated in the market and yesh they do allow us to continue using the package after we deliver and change to post natal instead

just checked with fren regarding rustic nirvana pre-natal massage. it's $88 for her first session which lasted about 45 min (even tho' they'll say 1hr). then if u sign their pkg, it's 10 sessions + 5 free and also your 1st session is free. btw, my fren goes to the cantonment branch.

<font color="ff6000">i called up rustic to ask.. they say per session is $180 but with Citibank or UOB credit card now having promo so its $98 and on the package she say its very indivdual so need to seek the consultants first to talk abt the package so i think its where our bargaining skills come into action!

She oso mentioned, the massage is about an hr but at times, they recommend u to lie down to relax after the massage so best is choose those days u dun feel so rushed to go for the treatment so u can rest and relax</font>

some clarification - can only pay $88 for first session. subsequent session, without pkg, is around $200 per session. then for the pkg, it's around $1200+ for 15 sessions (10 + 5), so it works out to be around $86 per session.
 
Hi. I'm new here. I'm a second time mother. Currently, baby 18mth+ in my tummy, recently start to feel baby move. May I know what is the correct number of movements that baby should move every day? I can only feel it moving when i lie down at night...

Maybe the staff at rustic work on the premise that they need to hit a particular "target" per month? So those who have not really closed sales for that month would be more willing to throw in perks?
 
Seems expensive but i also tink rustic seems pro so shd be quite good. I looked around and i tink rustic is more pro on pre and post natal massages bec not all massages centres have such massages.

I am considering to go for post natal massages, email them to ask but they didn't reply also. If any of u go for pre-natal can help me ask if post natal is how much cost and can go after confinement?

Morraine : i went for a massage last weekend ! went to my usual massage parlour for my leg cramps and decided to do a full body massage - i tot it's safe to do so after the first trimester.

hahaha, the person answering the phone CMI (cannot make it) lah. actually my fren asked if can share pkg with another fren but their ans was they only allow 1 fren to try out 1 session. i am quite keen to try it out at least once. maybe make apptm next week.

My mum oso against and my hb not supportive, but I die, die want to go. I cannot imagine travelling with milk powder and bottles and diapers. Haha.
Mayang Sari = 1 double bed. The interior is nicely done up but feels sticky at times bcos it faces the sea. However, it is really nice to open your door to the beach.

Regarding massage, I might be going for pre-natal massage by those China lady at her house in bt batok... recommended by my colleague who went to her every week... she only handles pregnant woman and was recommended by her gynae, Dr Fong Chuan Wee

I oso think pregnancy is so stressful. The physical uncomforts are bearable, it is the uncertainties. I always wanted 2 kids, but I realised that I am having phobia even when the 1st one is still stuck in the tummy, haha.
However, I would still choose 2 if I can conceive subsequently. Then ZuEn junior will have companionship.
